On Sunday, following the previous events, things were much more confusing. I woke up a little later than the day before, scratching my eyes and checking the clock on the small dresser beside the bed. I raised my body and stretched. I felt fine, so I soon got out of bed for the morning bath. As soon as I left, I got dressed and while combing my hair in front of the mirror, Atem appeared beside me.
At first, I glanced until I understood all of her slim figure beside me. I grinned, trying at all costs to pay attention to my hair and hair at the same time. He smiled calmly, and looked like he was going to say something, but at the same moment my grandfather entered the room and his figure disappeared. I turned around looking at my grandfather, who said the coffee was ready.
I followed my day in the same way, and as soon as I finished coffee I went back to my room. I called Atem, holding the millennium gently with my hands and he soon appeared in front of me, standing with his arms crossed.
- Hey Atem. Sorry for earlier, it looked like you were going to tell me something, but my grandfather interrupted. - I looked at him hopefully, wanting to satisfy my curiosity about what he was going to talk about. Judging from his quiet manner, it was good to pay attention when he finally spoke.
- Ah yes ...- He said calmly and sat on the bed, and I joined him. - You seemed a little strange last night, I just wanted to know if everything was okay. - He said looking at me with a curious face.
Pharaoh didn't make much of these faces, but I always thought he was extremely cute when he did them. This time, however, it was not by his face that I blushed and looked away. It was because the thoughts of last night came back.
- You know you can tell me, right? - His voice came out deep, making a new sensation run through my body.
His white hands touched my shoulder gently and I raised my eyes to his that looked at me tenderly. A slight smile was plastered on his lips, while his touch on my shoulder gave a companion look.
- Is nothing. - I said at last getting rid of that embarrassing feeling that had taken me - Enjoying that you are here - He said opening a childish smile - Shall we duel?
- Um, a duel? He broke the friendly smile and let a proud one emerge.
- Let's go. Then we can have ice cream if you want.
- Ok ..., but already warned that you will have to get ice cream of the defeat flavor ... - He raised his frown.
I laughed and scratched my head, childishly, and he laughed too. We started the game, and since he and I were very good, we ended up drawing. I honestly didn't pay attention to the game properly. I don't know for sure what was going on with me, but I was simply loving Pharaoh's company, his voice resounding around the room when he played any card and his convinced smile plastered on his mischievous lips.
I know our eyes met several times and I was trying to avoid it, he obviously noticed, but he said nothing. He was just watching me serenely. When we put all the cards away, he stretched, making his belly appear quickly by rising his shirt. I stared while he now turned.
- Changes in plans, it will have to be ice cream flakes. - He said in a playful tone and I laughed lightly.
- Okay, let's go get it. - I said leaving the room.
Don't worry, I know what you must be thinking about my grandfather seeing Atem. In fact, everyone knows him, but he takes little of his materialized form, even for security reasons, so my grandfather just isn't used to seeing him constantly. No panic.
We went down the stairs and headed for the kitchen. We took the jar of ice cream from the freezer and went to the table. My grandfather even passed by, but he vaguely greeted the pharaoh who responded with a mouthful of ice cream, which sparked a laugh on my part by the scene. After so much harmony, we returned to the room, where he took his spectral form again and returned to the millennium to rest.
Little did I know that this affectionate afternoon on our part would trigger so many problems later on. But let him tell you about the night episode that happened on that day, then. It was bedtime. I ended up falling asleep quickly, but I had some strange dreams. And one in particular.
~~ Dream ~~
I opened my eyes quickly, and looked around. It was within the millennium, at the beginning, where the doors were given to Pharaoh or to my innocence and soul. I walked to his door and opened it, entering the familiar room. For some reason, Pharaoh was on his common throne, sitting staring at me thoughtfully.
The door slammed shut and I was startled, then turned back to see it fully closed. When I returned my eyes to him, Ra's eye shone on his forehead, in a yellowish tone, and he smiled, graceful.
- What was Yugi ??? He moved his hands over the arm of the throne.
I was silent, and followed him, getting a little closer to his tender image. He stood up calmly and passed his hands over my face, delicately, looking at me. His face looked like a romantic work; idealized. His body defined by black clothes. I was ... attracted to him.
At the moment, I didn't think. His breath was very close to mine, his eyes were half closed, and his lips were so close. And in an instant he released me. He turned his back and walked away. I, in desperation and sudden confusion, called out to him, walking behind him, arms outstretched in his direction.
- Atem!
His eyes turned towards me, but his figure was beginning to distort into a black image, a frightening thing, with Ra's eye flickering in the center of his forehead, in bright and diverse colors. It got closer and closer until it got too close.
~~ Dream off ~~
I woke up in a flash. I looked up and felt my heart pounding, sweat running down my forehead and the muscles tense on the bed. I took a deep breath, trying to control the rapid breathing that followed and looked around the room. Just a Yugi dream, I said to myself.
I lay back, grudgingly, and held on for the millennium, running my hand fearfully over the object. My mind returned to the image of Atem several times and they only disappeared when the real pharaoh appeared in front of me. He was kneeling at the foot of the bed, resting his arms on the edge of the furniture and looking at me with concern. When I saw him, I was relieved.
- Yugi? It's all right? His voice came out in a tender tone.
I looked into his eyes and then sat on the bed, getting a better posture. He accompanied me and sat next to me, still looking at me curiously.
- Is ...- I lied, and looked at him, forcing a smile - Why are you awake at this hour?
- You called me, Yugi - he said frowning - Desperately.
I was amazed at such a speech. I opened my eyes wide and from there I saw his worried expression looking at me.
- Did I call? - Said instantly. And then I remembered the dream ... would I have called it the truth?
- Yes. I woke up with your voice resonating within the millennium. You shouted my name, so I came. - He said almost like a whisper.
I thought about lying about remembering why the voice actually sounded. But I felt a sense of sadness overtake me. And at the same time, I was relieved to see Atem there. It all came together, and from my childish eyes, some tears welled up and started to flow. The older one looked at me in amazement, and I lowered my face.
- Sorry to wake you ...- My voice came out tearful, with tears streaming down. I didn't even dare look you in the face.
- Yugi ...- His voice came out tender and confused - Are you crying? - He ran his hands over my face, lifting it and looking into my teary eyes.
I just had the urge and hugged him. His body materialized just in time, and my face sank into his arms that took me in immediately. His hands went around my back, trying to somehow comfort those sobs that came out with the tears.
I wish I could have stayed there forever, in that comfort. Pharaoh's body was incredibly cozy, and his caress of comfort was incredible. Gradually, the tears stopped streaming down her face and the sobs stopped. Still, he didn't let go of me, and let me stay there for a while.
- Yugi, what happened ...? He asked finally. His voice so close to my ear was like a melody.
I let go of it, and looked up, drying it on my pajama sleeve.
- A nightmare ... horrible. - I bit my lip and looked at him at last - I believe I unconsciously called you ...
- It is possible. When you are in danger, your mind connects with mine, and if it was a nightmare, your brain went into instinctual mode and so I could hear your dream voice. - He said patiently and I nodded, agreeing. - It's better now?
I nodded again and smiled. I was really happy to have you there with me. I felt more secure. He sighed and smiled.
- You better go back to sleep then. Tomorrow you have school. I will stay here.
- Huh? No, Atem, you need to rest too.
- I have already rested 5,000 years, I think one night does not kill - He spoke seriously, although I found it funny - Besides, you are going to class tomorrow.
- Hehe, it's true. OK thank you. - I smiled at him and he winked in return.
And I must admit, it was the sexiest wink I ever received in my life. I turned my face quickly and buried it in the pillow, to hide how flushed I was. The carotion was throbbing, but just knowing that he would be there, I managed to sleep quickly and calmly.
