Time is an elusive and weird thing for people who don't have void and time affinities; it is even more abstract and rarer than space, which is why time Mages also have another name being called enigma Mages.
They are called enigma Mages for their unpredictability and the weird spells that they can use. Lu Yao had only lived in a mid-grade world all her life. Time Mages there were like legends and myths. So for Delvin to now tell her that the storage devices that people in the higher worlds use are operated through not only space but also time magic made Lu Yao feel as if she knows nothing of the world and has lived all her life in a well.
In truth, it's not Lu Yao's fault that she feels that way; after all, a mid-grade world only has so much knowledge and talents that they can use, for even space magic to exist, there is already a miracle for them.
Space Mages might appear in a mid- or high-grade world through luck, and because of their rarity that space rings are valued too much. Only organizations that have extensive histories or has a space Mage among them would have space rings. For Xue Mo and Lu Yao to even find that many space rings in the Ash Expanse is already too weird and has only two explanations. The Academy at some point in time had found some ruin and struck gold with those space rings they got or the more plausible cause being that the organization behind them 'The Hybrid' has a space Mage that was able to craft space rings and they were lucky to get that many.
Lu Yao was someone who has the void affinity and at a very high affinity at that thanks to her lineage but because she never was able to utilize it for the lack of resources and spells to train in. If Lu Yao knew Time Magic and had scrolls or teachers to teach her about it, then Lu Yao would have been able to destroy that emperor who was only at her level but had more substantial control over his space Magic.
Seeing that Lu Yao didn't believe him, Devin sighed before showing her.
Taking out high grade food from his storage device, Delvin showed it to her. "Look here, young Miss. This is high-grade Dark Deer meat. Its level is over the True Mage level and borders the Arcane Mage level. If I were joking, young Miss, would I have been able to take this meat out and make it look like this fresh? I, for one, won't believe that if someone said it wasn't fresh." Seeing and hearing Delvin's explanation, Lu Yao had no choice but to believe him. If not, she had to believe her eyes and senses that confirmed his words.
Lu Yao didn't doubt Delvin's words and thought of the next part of her plan which was to store 'resources' into her storage device.
Lu Yao and Xue Mo have never met anyone that has the level of power that their unique energies can be compared to. So Lu Yao wanted to test and release her true power where real life and situation might occur and make her exceed her potential. At the same time, see her power level.
Lu Yao doesn't count Delvin as someone with her level of power as she was very sure that the power and energy that she felt from him was stronger than hers and Xue Mo, and that's why she didn't want to fight him previously.
The three True Mages were different, though. Lu Yao had sensed their power when she met them, and she felt that they are still weaker than her, which means that Lu Yao and Xue Mo's energy levels are at least higher than True Mages, maybe even higher than Arcane Mages.

Lu Yao decided to implement her plan in the morning as she felt a change happen to her after she filled her bodies 'Units' with Phante's body's energy.
Lu Yao sat cross-legged in her meditation position as if she was about to cultivate but instead did something else she started probing the inside of her body and concentrated explicitly on her 'Heart Core.'
Lu Yao used her experience from before and started looking inside her body. Lu Yao, after arriving at the Foundation Opening realm level 1, stopped any cultivation that she and Xue Mo did as they sensed that the 'Heart Core' needs sometimes to do something, and over time, they discovered the benefits of the 'Heart Core.' Such as purifying their energies and refining their bodies, albeit slowly through the powers that move inside it. However, the most significant benefit that they have gotten was the new meridian pathway and the ability to fuse energies.
Now Lu Yao felt this very 'Heart Core' of hers react after she started her body cultivation and flooded her 'Units' to the brim with what she and Xue Mo decided to call 'Unit' energy.
The previously slow movement of energy in Lu Yao's body was now moving at high speed and, at the same time, refining her body while reinforcing it at a fast rate.
Lu Yao didn't panic and let everything work automatically as the 'Heart Core' wanted. However, Lu Yao wouldn't leave her fate to the 'Heart Core' without trying to do something or check on its progress somehow, and the fastest way Lu Yao thought of was Infinite Darkness.
"Infinite Darkness" Lu Yao called inside her mind to not alert Delvin, who was sitting next to her.
Although Lu Yao didn't doubt that Delvin will help or that he works for her family, she wouldn't just expose something so helpful like Infinite Darkness or Cultivation to him. It is, after all, something that Xue Mo taught her, and Infinite Darkness is something that she created with him so she wouldn't just tell anyone about something with that kind of ability. She wouldn't do something like exposing it without Xue Mo being next to her or at has given her confirmation as this is the least that she can do to repay him.

Lu Yao had finally understood what's happening to her. It seems that the 'Heart Core' in her had another ability that she didn't know about. Vessel enlargement.
It seems because of body cultivation; the 'Heart Core' became 'more complete' in a sense where it would allow Lu Yao and Xue Mo to house more energy. For the energy to fit properly without overflowing, their bodies will enlarge with it.
Lu Yao finally found out what's happening to her body, so she let it continue. It seems that her body will slightly grow physically, and this will increase not only her physical and even mental prowess but also the energy that she can contain and generate will start to rise.
Lu Yao was happy with this development and let it continue. Lu Yao wanted to see what upgrading the 'Heart Core' with Infinite Darkness might do, but she didn't want to risk it, so she will wait until it has stabilized before trying anything.
Lu Yao felt that her choice to wait and upgrade her 'Heart Core' later on is the correct choice and that it will give her more benefits than improving it now. Lu Yao's instincts started to grow even more sensitive, and even her sixth sense that used only to warn her about danger began to give signals of what things might be better for her to do and what not. That is the reason Lu Yao was able to tell that not upgrading her 'Heart Core' will result in future benefits.
After inspecting her 'Heart Core' and seeing the changes happening to her, Lu Yao's thoughts started to drift back to the moment she met Xue Mo.
'Damn. I want to kick my previous self. Why would I even knock Mo'er off? Am I that stupid to try and take him down? Now that I think about it, if my Chaos energy weren't supplying me with power back, then I wouldn't even be able to touch Mo?
