Was this really about to happen?

Wei Jingyu lightly held Xuan's hand. It was almost like he was afraid of hurting her again or leaving any more scars.

He led her to a bench, but Ying Xuan pouted.

"What?" Jingyu was surprised.

Ying Xuan smiled childishly and sat down on the green grass. She kicked off her shoes and squeezed her toes and stretched her legs, enjoying the sunlight.

Jingyu sighed as he shook his head with a smile. When was the last time he had sat on the floor? He could not remember. Jingyu thought as he also sat down beside Ying Xuan.

The two chatted for some time before Xuan's head suddenly snapped away from Jingyu.

He was immediately alarmed, "What!?!? What's wrong!?!?"

Ying Xuan hit him on the shoulder and motioned him to be still. She then very carefully lifted her right hand, and on it sat a beautiful butterfly.

Xuan's face broke into a heartwarming smile as she stared at the butterfly, admiring the beautiful colours of the butterfly's wings.

Wei Jingyu sat in a daze, staring at Xuan's smile as sunlight bounced off her beautiful face. At that moment, Jingyu felt like he had never seen anything more beautiful. The sun, rivers, mountains, moon, rain, everything paled in comparison to Xuan's smile as she stared at the butterfly.

Wei Jingyu fortunately had enough sense to whip out his phone and snap a quick photo of Ying Xuan. He was sliding his phone back in his pocket when the butterfly suddenly flew away and Xuan looked towards him pouting.

Jingyu laughed and said, "I can get you a whole sanctuary of butterflies, if you like."

Xuan sighed and signed, 'That's the problem with rich people. You all think that you can buy anything and everything. And that beauty is meant to be captured.'

Wei Jingyu mumbled, looking away, "You say that like you aren't rich."

Xuan chose to ignore this as she reached out for the box of wafer sticks in Jingyu's hands.

Wei Jingyu immediately lifted his hand away from Xuan's grasp, and grinned, "You just told me everything can't be bought. Well, I bought this."

Ying Xuan pouted, 'Just one.'

Wei Jingyu's grin grew wider. He was feeling really mischievous today. "Nothing is free. How about a date? Or a kiss?"

Ying Xuan raised an eyebrow. She sat back down and crossed her arms after signing, 'Not happening.'

Wei Jingyu put a wafer stick in his mouth, "Have it your way then."

Ying Xuan eyed Jingyu from the corner of her eye as she watched him finish the first stick and put the end of another in his mouth, the rest dangling outside like a cigarette.

An evil idea flashed across Xuan's mind and she grinned to herself before turning towards Jingyu with a martyred expression.

'Fine.' Xuan signed.

"Huh?" Wei Jingyu was surprised, "What fine?"

Xuan signed, getting on her knees, 'Just one kiss.'

"What?????" Jingyu's expression was worth watching. It took Ying Xuan all the self control she had not to laugh out loud.

She leaned closer to Jingyu as he stuttered, "Wh-what!!!! You-you're serious!?!?!?"

Xuan only gave him a flirtatious smile as she continued to reach towards his face.

Wei Jingyu closed his eyes in anticipation and nervousness. He felt a pressure on the other edge of the stick dangling from his mouth and his eyelids quivered.

Was this really about to happen? Just like that!?!?!
