Everyone close to me seems to get hurt

Weiwei rolled her eyes. "She does seem to have all the qualities of being the mean girl. Wearing slutty clothes, check. Bossing everyone around, check. Thinking she's an angel but actually being a bi*ch, and running after the most handsome guy on campus, check, check and check." she spoke, counting off on her fingers.

The two girls burst into a fit of laughter following this speech.

'Anyway, what were you going to tell me about Xi?' Xuan asked, wiping away tears that had formed due to laughing so hard.

Shi Weiwei's smile vanished and she spoke in a small voice, "Let Jingyu come too. It'll be best if you both hear it together. Let me clean this up in the meantime." She then got up from the bench and began to gather all the torn pages she had scattered everywhere.

Ying Xuan wondered what had Xi done now to try and break her and Jingyu apart now as she helped Weiwei. She packed Weiwei's things while the latter raced around the garden trying to catch hold of the papers flying here and there in the wind.

Xuan had neatly packedup all of Weiwei's writing material and notebooks and was watching the latter running to catch hold of the papers absent-mindedly.

All her focus was on wondering what new scheme Xi had executed and worrying that Wei Jingyu would be hurt once again because of her.

"Everyone who gets close to me seems to get hurt one way or another. Maybe that's why I never had friends." Xuan thought to herself. The next instant, she noticed the same person who had been occupying her thoughts.

Wei Jingyu was walking towards the garden along with Mo Kio, who really looked very worried. Xuan wondered how deep Kio's feelings for Weiwei actually ran before she turned her eyes back on Wei Jingyu. He was still in the same clothes that he had been wearing earlier this evening. Everything minus the leather jacket, which made his yellow t-shirt shine brightly in the faint lights around the campus.

But there was someone else, someone walking behind the two boys, hidden in their shadow and the bad lighting. Xuan held her forehead as the third person came into view. Of course Su Shaoyan would have tagged along. Even if it hadn't been about Weiwei, he would still have come. Excited by the prospect of breaking the curfew.

Shi Weiwei had still not noticed the three boys as she chased a rather stubborn piece of paper, which actually seemed to be playing tag with Weiwei. It would come almost in her reach, then fly away suddenly just as she was about to catch it.

"Damn you!! Wait till I catch you!" Weiwei swore as the piece flew away once again.

It stopped when it met Jingyu's foot. Just as he was about to bend down to pick it, Mo Kio stooped with lightning speed and picked it up. He held it out as Weiwei reached them, panting.

She took the paper and tore it into a million pieces with a loud swear.

Ying Xuan: "..."

Mo Kio: "......."

Wei Jingyu: "......"

Su Shaoyan: "....."

Weiwei then dropped the pieces with the other papers in a nearby dustbin like nothing had happened.
