Dorky boys

It had become one of his favorite past-times, coming up with wild imaginations on what Xuan would sound like if she could actually speak.

As much as Jingyu would have liked to stay just like this and stare at Ying Xuan, he had not forgotten those assholes on the other side of the door. Five minutes should almost be up by now, and Mo Kio had said that he would kick down the door after that time. And Jingyu had no doubt that he would go through with his promise, he was his best friend after all. Stubborn with a case of anger-management issues, and like a cherry on top, coupled with a liking to make mischief.

Wei Jingyu sighed and pulled himself apart from the embrace. "Basok and some of the others are outside the door. Busak needs to get his luggage, he has a train in an hour." Jingyu said, standing up and running a hand through his hair, pushing them down. 'Though of course he had no need to, his hair, though long, was somehow in perfect style even after waking up.' Ying Xuan thought enviously.

She nodded and quickly ran her fingers through her own hair, trying to make them as presentable as possible.

She was sitting cross-legged on Jingyu's bed when he walked over to the door to open it. He had not even reached it when Xuan jumped upon hearing a loud kick on the door from the outside. "I'm opening! For f*ck's sake!!" Wei Jingyu hollered before he pulled open the door, glaring at Mo Kio, who was very obviously the culprit.

"XUAN!!!" Mo Kio exclaimed, very conveniently ignoring Wei Jingyu, who was glaring daggers at anyone who would meet his eye. Ying Xuan giggled at these dorky boys before greeting them all with a wave. Yu Basok, Wei Jingyu's roommate, greeted her with a "Hey Ying Xuan. Good morning." while rushing to collect his possessions and running to the bathroom to get ready.

With two of them not there, all of Wei Jingyu's wrath turned on Feng Shui. But that boy was smart, he took one look at the expression on Jingyu's face, mumbled something about needing to pack, and ran like a dog with its tail between its legs. Wei Jingyu closed the door with a slam and walked over to Ying Xuan, and now also Mo Kio.

"Why are you still here?" he snapped at Kio, sitting down beside Xuan and wrapping an arm around her shoulders. Mo Kio shrugged as he pulled out a chair and sat down. "I was thinking I could walk Xuan back to the dorms. In your current mood, I'll make much better company." he said and Ying Xuan suppressed a chuckle when Wei Jingyu narrowed his eyes at him.

'You wanted to walk me back, or wanted to bump into a certain short-haired director?' Xuan signed and Jingyu translated for her. Even though Mo Kio had started to learn sign language and could understand most of the basic things, he sometimes had problem with more difficult sentences.

Kio's ears turned crimson upon hearing this sentence as his gaze jumped between Xuan and Jingyu a few times before settling on the latter. "You told her!!!???!?" he screamed with so much embarrassment that it seemed to actually brighten up Wei Jingyu's mood.
