Dusk till Dawn.

The gyratory of the town was a bustling site added the traffic noise and the crowded corners which made the town similar to a living city...OR that's what citizens termed it as.

[GYRATORY-A CIRCULAR TRAFFIC SYSTEM

At present the town was painted in sunset colour which gave off a texture of warmth and coziness. Somewhere among the swarming throng of people, a teenage boy with a black-rimmed glasses can be seen heading in the opposite direction, his back faced the Sun sinking low in the horizon as he walked down the backstreet in a quite but steady pace.

[SWARMING- FULL OF ACTIVITY]

The boy took the left turn and entered inside a three storey structure. The orange colored building was considered neither extravagant nor shabby place to live in. The place where it has been built was a fresh and wide surrounding decorated by tall trees, black-topped alleyways, small gardens and open yards. It was just in taste for those who wanted to live away from bustling city-life but do not want to completely give up it's comfort and security. And the most important amidst the list was that the apartments in this block befits the pocket because the rent was reasonable and quite affordable.

The boy boarded inside the elevator that took him to the third floor of the building. In normal situation he would prefer stairs over lift but this time around he made a slight adjustment in his daily choices because he has to chase the clock which was rushing far ahead of him.

MinJun unlocked the door of his new home and stepped inside, closing the door behind. The insides of his new apartment were designed revealing two bedrooms, a kitchen counter, a living room in the centre and a small balcony attached to it. He took off his shoes at the entrance and tied an apron to his waist. From a corner he grabbed a dustpan and a broom then started cleaning the entire flat determined not to leave a speck of dust.

The night fell upon the town shortly after he completed mopping the concrete floor shiny. The growling sound from his stomach reminded MinJun to feed himself with some water and grain. He took out an instant noodle cup then prepared it to eat while making his way towards the sofa in order to rest his sore and tired body.

The television was playing a cooking show. For a while it looked as if life can be lived throughout in leisure, feeling at peace and relaxed. But he knew better, such a idle time was naught but a delusion.

" He said he would arrive at the place in the morning. Sigh, why didn't he mention an exact time? Leave it. It just mean that I should reach there earlier than a rooster."

MinJun shared his distress with the walls in the room. If it was possible than he would have plastered a crying emoticon on his face and why not the sticker describes his current situation really well.

At four am, early in the morning MinJun hurried to his former school as per their agreement.

In the faint darkness a teenage boy walked pass the streets neatly dressed up in a white V-neck T-shirt with an unchained ash colour windbreaker worn over it. A pair of tight black pants clinged to his long slender legs, well matched with a pair of dirty green converse shoes. Even his hair was styled. Normally MinJun's ink black hair covers his wide forehead but today...the bangs were still covering up his forehead area, the only difference was that the usual bed-nest hair was neatly combed and then ironed. His black rimmed glasses were also exchanged with a transparent one.

It can be taken as a blessing in disguise. Heartfelt thanks to Heavens, as it was still dark and not many folks were awake so they could envy a rare view that came once in a millinieum while some elderly who saw MinJun outside from their windows, they sighed dejectedly in their heart each of them having a single contrasting thought.

' Ah! Youngsters. Attending the date arranged this early. It must be good to be young.'

Alas! the elderly can only sigh at their wishful thinking. They couldn't travel back in time. To the time when they were carefree young ones in love.

After an hour MinJun arrived at their designated place.Next to Neon high school the owner has opened his tea stall a few minutes ago, before his arrival. MinJun grabbed a table in a corner then leaned himself backwards onto the chair, waiting for the time to pass while sipping warm tea from the pot.

The faint purple brightness grew paler along the passage of time until it was completely replaced by the first rays of Sun rising in the East. He was now unable to bear the rumbling of his stomach and it became difficult to ignore the hunger that made his legs go weak and shaky. MinJun ordered an instant cup noodle and some junk food. He brought it back to his table and fed himself spoonful one after another, savouring the taste and filling up his empty stomach.

The table in front of him was previously occupied by two teenage girls which was now replaced by a family who were enjoying their bowl of noodles and rice.

The table behind him was reserved by a bulky fat man which now remain empty.

MinJun looked at the watch tied to his wrist. The hour hand paused pointing at the digit four while the minute hand circled around it in rounds. He turned his eyes gazing over the parking area. One after another different sized and colored cars entered but none of them were like what he has remembered. The Sun sunk below in the West. The hour hand jumped two steps forward then again paused pointing at the digit six.The colour of dusk began to paint itself into darker shade yet the person he was waiting for never showed up.
