Lapis Dream
-Dreams are real while they last but what about life ?-
while I was asleep, I got the strange feeling that my bed was rocking waking me up to find that I was no longer in my bed , but under a crescent moon , so high in a dark and lonely sky. An ocean of obsidian tangled in the light .Far ahead a child stands still , starving warmth and staring into the crystal river . His face was drowning in sorrow yet a spark of strength within let him stay strong that moment longer. Then the waterfalls emerged from his eyes along with cries and sobs. He let out a scream , it was a scream told of pain and confusion. His wounded skin craving comfort , he needed a motherly scent ."What had he done to deserve this dejection?".Yet within seconds this crystal river... somehow gave him comfort allowing him to see himself. Almost as if he wasn't alone, but had his inner soul there, backing him up whatever he did. It relieved him of his griefs. Without much reflection I took few steps to hug him tightly in my arms . Surprised the little boy hiccups , at the time I tried to show him love and kindness.After seconds he yawns ,and with the sweetest voice I have ever heard he told me :
"-can you sing me a lullaby "
"-Which one is your favorite?"
"-The musician "
"- I ignored that such a young child could love this song "
Succumbing to his request I started singing the lyrics etched in my heart
"Falling fast asleep
May this little boy find blissful dreams
Among the ash
And the flames that light up the night sky
One by one
Falling softly
With your silhouette
Casting shadows of your lovely face
I watch the sky as a million dreams are shining
Little dreams, little dreamer
Within the tender night, your silver eyes were trembling

He isn't satisfied until his head is on my arm and he has his hand entwined in my sweater. This is a battle I just can't win. Every time I even twitch his fingers grip tighter. I placed a kiss on his head and fell asleep next to him.
"I swear to stay by your side and protect you".

Leaving Ramiel alone Yael closed the door behind him . Ramiel just waking up from a long dream wondered who the girl could be .
"Why is the image of her so flu ".Changing his clothes searching for the curse mark , he didn't find anything but a painful spot .
" How is that possible?"
