We have settled in the lavish guest room provided for us, and we are presently inspecting our weapons or reading what written on the status screen. Well, everyone except for Motoyasu.
So far, I find the Help Function very useful. Also, I've unlocked some power-ups methods of the Legendary Weapons that I can remember. I am not confident that I have unlocked everything. There are some that I've forgotten.
"Hey! This is just like a game, don't you think so?"
I choose to break the status quo because no one has attempted to do so. If this topic isn't broached, we will be stuck here forever. I don't know why Motoyasu doesn't broach the subject first. I don't think about it deeply, however.
"Yeah. It does seem like a game. But—"
"This world is from a VRMMO," Ren cuts off Naofumi's words abruptly.
"Huh? VRMMO as in virtual reality MMO? That sounds like something out of the future." Naofumi gives Ren a weird gaze.
"What are you talking about?" Ren looks at Naofumi as if the Shield Hero is a country bumpkin or someone who has been living under a rock.
"Wait for a minute!" Motoyasu suddenly calls out, stopping the potential argument between Naofumi and Ren.
"Ren and Naofumi. And you..." Motoyasu pauses and gives me a once-over. "Who are you again?"
"Randy Quartz. You can call me Randy... or Ran." I roll my eyes at Motoyasu. I guess he had been stuck in his little world when we have our introduction in the throne room.
"Did your world have espers in it?" Motoyasu asks.
"No. Magic exists there, though." I lie with a straight face.

[Skill: Lying has leveled up!]
I quickly dismiss the notification windows.
"Magic?!" Naofumi shouts in incredulity. Then, he and Ren turn in my direction and give me disbelieving stares. Meanwhile, Motoyasu waves his hand at me, telling me to continue.
"Yup. Magic exists. Unfortunately, it's slowly disappearing from the world with the advancement of science. Well, the correct term is Magecraft. The act of reenacting a miracle. Basically, it's just replicating a phenomenon that can be realized through science. We Magi, the plural of Magus, which is the title for Magecraft user, create this miracle by utilizing our understanding of the world's laws, Wisdom of Mankind that is also known as Science, and our magic power that's also known as Prana, a mix of Life Force, also called Od, and the magic energy in the air, also called Mana. For example, one can create fire using a lighter. Magi use our magic power to create fire without lighter, and so on..."
"That's interesting." Motoyasu nods at me, believing in my lies easily.
To be honest, I am not sure if it's due to my Max-Level Lying or he is just that dumb. Well, whatever.
Anyway, I've decided to use the background story of Nasuverse as my origin world. Why have I decided that? Well, I think that it's cool. Also, I am a fan of Type-Moon's works, and I am quite knowledgable regarding that franchise.
The timeline-traveling Spear Hero asks something else, "What's the name of your country? Does Japan exist in your world?"
"I lived in California, America. And yes, Japan exists in my world."
Motoyasu nods in satisfaction before shifting his attention to Naofumi and Ren. "Alright. Ren and Naofumi. You too, Ran. Listen carefully," he says.
"What is it?" Naofumi asks, intrigued.
"All of us here came from different worlds. We're all from Japan except for Ran, but our respective Japan is completely different from the other. I want you all to remember that."
"Huh? Really? Well, I can understand if it's Ran's world. I mean, Magic or Magecraft exists there."
"Yes. If I remember correctly, Ren's world is more advanced than our world because there's an actual virtual reality technology there."
"That's right," Ren agrees with Motoyasu's words before looking at us and saying, "I take it that in your respective world, VR technology doesn't exist?"
Motoyasu, Naofumi, and I shake our heads negatively in unison.
"I see." Ren nods, accepting our answer.
"Really? Then, what about my world or Motoyasu's? Maybe, we came from similar Japan."
"I don't think so."
"Are you sure?" Naofumi looks at Motoyasu skeptically.
"I'm 100% sure. If Father wants to prove it, let's compare our common knowledge, I say!"
"Ah, Kitamura, can you drop that 'Father' stuff, please?"
As Naofumi and Motoyasu start arguing about Motoyasu's chosen nickname for Naofumi, Ren and I return to our individual business. I don't know what Ren is doing. I'm just reading the Help Function to understand Legendary Weapon's system better.
There are some things that I don't know. It's understandable because the source materials never gave into detailed explanation regarding the Legendary Weapon System.
I wish Aneko Yusagi has written more details about the system, like how Hiro Ainana has written a detailed explanation about Satou's Nameless System in Death March.
"I want you to hear this too, Ren and Ran." Motoyasu's loud voice interrupts my reading. After I look up from my status screen to face him, he continues, saying, "The things I know might not match up with the things you know. But trusting each other will reveal the power-up methods."
"Okay, sure," Ren replies with a sigh, though he seems pretty unenthusiastic. Meanwhile, I wordlessly nod at him in acceptance.
I have been hoping that Motoyasu will share his knowledge. I need to unlock other power-up methods I have forgotten.
"I guess I wouldn't mind hearing more," Naofumi chimes in.
When Motoyasu's about to start explaining...
"Heroes, we have prepared a meal for you."
It seems like someone has come to take us to have diner.
"I'll explain it all after we eat," Motoyasu promises to us.
After Naofumi and I thanked Motoyasu, we head for the cafeteria and have our diner there. There are strange foods that I am suspicious of, so I choose to be safe and eat normal-looking dishes. After diner, we return to our room.
Everyone, except for Ren, stays up all night. Ren has evacuated to his bed and has been ignoring us since we returned from the cafeteria. Motoyasu explains the power-up methods to me and Naofumi. I listen to him attentively and unlock more methods. As expected, I have forgotten a couple of methods. We conclude our discussion pretty late after Naofumi started getting sleepy.
I now am lying in my bed, still awake. Ren and Naofumi have fallen asleep. Meanwhile, Motoyasu has left the guest room, likely choosing to sleep in Filolials' stable.
Since I still have some energy to spare, I am going to kill my free time productively. However, I need to check the room for any bugs.
I create an enchanted ring under the blanket that lets me sense some hidden spy within the range of a hundred meters. After equipping the ring, I unlock Detect Presence skill. Then, Detect Presence skill's level rises up to the max, thanks to Instant Mastery.
Without further ado, I search for nearby spies. Fortunately, I find no spies nearby. When I check outside of the guest room, I find one perching on a tree that gives a clear view of the guest room's terrace. At the very least, the spy, I assume a Shadow, won't see what I am doing if I close the curtain.
Knowing it's safe to continue my plan, I leave my bed and close the curtain of the doors to the terrace. I check up Naofumi and Ren for the last time, and after making sure that they are sleeping, I start my next plan.
I create some bows from other fictional series that I know of. They are mainly from Type-Moon franchise, however.
After creating them, I go to copying spree, letting the Legendary Bow copy each one of the recreated bows.

After the Legendary Bow successfully copied a bow, I destroy the bow immediately. I don't want them to fall on the hand of Trash or the Cult of Three Heroes.
A bit more than an hour later, I finish copying and destroying all my creations. Such action would incite the wrath of Magic and the Heroic Spirits in Nasuverse, I think. Well, who cares? I am not in Nasuverse, now.
(Maybe, I can visit Nasuverse in the future to make some female Heroic Spirits into my waifu?)
I entertain that idea, but it's for the future. For the time being, I want to enjoy this world. It's not like this world lacks pretty girl with waifu materials. In fact, I plan to poach Raphtalia.
Raphtalia isn't exclusively Naofumi's destined lover. It's shown in the Reprise that Raphtalia never met Naofumi or died in some loops.
Putting the topic of Raphtalia aside, I verify the required level to unlock the Equip Bonuses of my new bow's transformations and find that the lowest requirement is level 50. The highest, Enki-Form of the Legendary Bow, requires me to be on Lv250.
That's a high requirement. Lv250 is considered extremely powerful in this world, after all.
(If I remember correctly, Motoyasu is around level 300, isn't he? Oh, well, leveling up to level 250 is enough for the time being. I need to unlock Enki because it can transform into twin swords. With them, I can cover my weakness in close combat.)
After thinking a little bit, I decide to use my Omnipotence to generate EXP. It works despite I don't know the true nature of EXP. My understanding of EXP is limited to a type of energy required for leveling up. It can be the essence of a living being, aka soul. It can be something else.
I don't put any thought on it and inspect the level-up notification.
———————————————
Level Up! 1 → 250
+2490 HP
+1245 MP
+1245 SP
+498 Attack
+249 Defense
+498 M. Attack
+249 M. Defense
+747 Speed
———————————————
I guess every level-up raises my HP by 10, MP and SP by 5, Attack and Magic Attack by 2, Defense and Magic Defense by 1, and Speed by 3.
After reaching Level 250, I inspect the unlocked forms of the Legendary Bow.
———————————————
[Enki - 0/300 - Legendary Rarity - Unmastered - 0/100 Proficiency - Stat Bonus: +150 Attack, Magic Attack, Magic Defense, and Speed - Equip Bonus (unlocked): Transformation, Light Arrow, Light Magic Damage Up (High), Light Magic Resistance (High), HP Up (High), HP Recovery Up (High), MP Up (High), MP Recovery Up (High), Stamina Up (High), Stamina Recovery Up (High) - Special Skill (unlocked): Surge of Utnaphistim]
———————————————
I then check on its curious Equip Bonuses and Special Skill.
———————————————
[Transformation]
This bow can transform into two single-edged swords or a pair of bladed tonfa. The Bow Hero won't receive a punishment for wielding these two swords/tonfa as their true nature is a transformable bow.
———————————————
———————————————
[Light Arrow]
This form can generate a light magic arrow that inflicts light magic damage.
Consumption: 10 MP/Arrow
Light Magic Damage/Arrow: 50+10 per additional 1 MP
——————————————
———————————————
[Surge of Utnaphistim]
The ultimate attack of Enki that summons floods and tsunamis for seven days and seven nights. After seven days and seven nights have passed, the Star of Destruction that can destroy a world will appear and strike the target.
Consumption: 999,999 MP
————————————————
Equipping Enki won't limit me because it can transform between a bow, a pair of swords, and a pair of bladed tonfa. Furthermore, it can create light arrows by spending MP. And don't forget its Special Skill. The Surge of Utnaphistim can become my ultimate trump card.
