Gathered Adventurers

When I wake up, I need a few seconds to remember my whereabouts and present situation.

(That's right! I've accepted God's offer to be his successor, have gotten a chance to have my Isekai Adventure for 100,000 years, and now I am in the world of The Rising of the Shield Hero, replacing Itsuki's role. To be precise, I am apparently in Motoyasu's first loop in the Reprise timeline. As of now, I am in the guest room in the castle of Melromarc Queendom. Today will be the meeting with the so-called companions of Heroes.)

After recalling everything, I look for the other. Ren and Naofumi are sleeping. Meanwhile, Motoyasu isn't here. I guess he has yet to return from the Filolial's stable.

After fully waking up, I clean myself using my Omnipotence. To be precise, I create a chant-less cleaning spell that usually appeared in those Isekai novels. This spell is extremely convenient.

After cleaning myself, I open my status screen to verify my status.

Legendary Bow (Form: Small Bow)

———————————————

I have learned those new skills last night. After leveling up to Lv250 at one go, I tried to have a mock training in using a bladed bow for close combat, two swords, and a pair of tonfa. Basically, I trained each form of the Legendary Bow in Enki-Form. Due to my Instant Mastery, I quickly leveled those skills up to the max overnight.

When I tried to have a mock fight using one of Enki's transformation, my body just moved on its own. My mind couldn't catch up with my movement. It was a strange yet exhilarating experience. As I kept moving my body following my instinct, the sense of incongruity disappeared. After that, I can call myself a true master in each fighting style.

Regarding Status Falsification, I learned it from an enchanted necklace I named 'Amulet of Loki' that I created last night. At the maximum level, not even Status Scan skill at the same level can expose my true status.

I created Amulet of Loki after I realized that Motoyasu has unlocked many transformations of the Legendary Spear and must own a skill to inspect someone else status. I don't want him to find out my massive jump in levels overnight, so my decision in creating the amulet. Learning the skill is a bonus.

Other than creating Amulet of Loki, I also have created some useful items and potent arrows. I have stored them in the Inventory Function.

After closing my status screen, I create a clean rag and a bottle of polishing oil that gives off a pleasant aroma. I am going to maintain my Legendary Bow.

I know that the bow will unlock sentience as I grow stronger. Actually, I am already powerful at my present level by this world's standard. I don't know when the sentience of the bow will develop, but I still treat my bow with care.

I don't know what's the reaction of the bow with me being its hero. I am afraid the bow won't accept me because I'm not Itsuki. Not even knowing that the God Almighty himself who put me here eases my caution.

I hope that the bow will accept me after developing its sentience.

Speaking of the bow's sentience, I also hope that it can transform into a cute girl or a pretty woman. I'm a man of culture, after all. So, I wish for a sentient, transformable bow to join my future harem.

And yes! I plan to build a harem!

As a man of culture who has become OP Isekai Protagonist, getting a harem is a must!

I stop my bow's maintenance when I hear a knocking sound, rousing Ren and Naofumi up.

"Excuse me, Heroes. The breakfast is ready, and your meeting with His Majesty the King begins afterward."

"We're up and will soon go to the cafeteria," I reply.

"Understood. Do you need anything else?"

Personally, I can go to the cafeteria alone, and I have no other needs. However, I don't know about the rest. When I look questioningly at Naofumi and Ren, I receive their shaking heads. Their silent intention is noted.

"No need," I say to the attendant. "We can head for breakfast ourselves and have no further needs."

"Understood. Excuse me, Heroes," the attendant excuses herself and leaves thereafter.

"By the way, where's Kitamura?" Naofumi asks me after the attendant went away.

"Dunno! He left after you fell asleep last night," I reply.

"I see." Naofumi nods in acceptance. "Alright! Let's head for breakfast!"

Ren groans loudly in irritation, disapproving of Naofumi's enthusiasm. Yet, he forces himself up and leaves his bed. After that, we head for the dining room, backtracking the route from last night.

We have a quick and silent breakfast. After that, we head for the throne room. On the way, Motoyasu joins us.

"Is it just me, or do you stink, Kitamura?"

"Nope. You're not, Naofumi. Motoyasu does smell terrible." I agree with Naofumi. Motoyasu has a horrible smell, thanks to sleeping in the Filolial's stable last night.

"That's a bit rude, Father, Ran. This is the fine fragrance of the majestic Filolials, I say!"

"Filolials? If I remember correctly, they are birdlike creatures that are fond of pulling a carriage, right? I never see them and want to meet one myself later." Naofumi says.

Last night, Motoyasu didn't forget to share his fascinations with Filolials. Although Naofumi has yet to see Filolials in this timeline, Motoyasu has explained about Filolial in length. Motoyasu's explanation about Filolias was hard to understand because of his extreme fanaticism, however.

"They are not just birdlike creatures! They are angelic beings that won't betray you like those disgusting pigs!" Motoyasu retorts heatedly, making Naofumi flinch in surprise. Then, he quickly changes his mood in an instant, beaming at Naofumi, and says, "Don't worry, Father! I will help you to get many Filolials! We can raise those angels together, I say!"

Well, his quick change of moods shows how bad Motoyasu's mental stability is. But, I find it quite hilarious.

"Please drop that Father thing, Kitamura." Naofumi pleads to Motoyasu to no avail.

After that, we continue our walk while chatting amiably. Well, it is me, Naofumi, and Motoyasu. Ren just keeps to himself. Before long, we arrive in front of the throne room.

"The Heroes enter!" The knight guarding the throne room's entrance announces loudly.

As we enter the throne room, we immediately see 12 new people. 6 men and 6 women, to be precise. Their uniformed gears speak their occupation as free fighting forces, otherwise known as Adventurers in this world.

Out of the six young women, one stands out more than the others. Her beautiful face is framed by her long red hair. Her green eyes are inspecting us one by one before shining in mock excitement.

I can guess her identity. Her red hair and green eyes are pretty much a dead giveaway. She is Bitch, the first daughter of Trash and the MILF of Queen of this country.

Be that as it may, let's focus on the present.

Trash begins, saying, "Apparently, my call did not go unheeded."

At this point, I raise my hand to get his attention.

"What's it, Bow Hero?"

I disregard the attention on me and bluntly say, "I want to go out alone."

"That's..." Trash is speechless and apparently uncertain. It seems like my request has caught him off guard.

I then strike the iron when it's hot, so to speak. "Perhaps, I can show my mettle in a friendly spar here and convince you that I can defend myself."

Trash spends some time to weigh his decisions before nodding in acceptance. "You may show your mettle, Bow Hero. But, if you lose, you must accept the adventurers we have prepared to aid you in your journey."

I wordlessly nod in agreement.

"Then, is there anyone of you who will take the honor to test Bow Hero's mettle?" Trash looks at the adventurers.

One of them steps forward and bows to Trash. "Allow me, Mald, to take the honor, Your Majesty!"

(Ah! So, it's him, huh?) I unconsciously think and inspect his appearance. His ridiculous mustache tells me that he is the armor-clad companion of Itsuki in the source material. Also, I remember that he'd openly bullied Rishia Ivyred in the source materials. Although I never met Rishia, I am quite fond of her as a character in the source material. I dislike Mald because of his unpleasant treatment for Rishia.

(I guess I don't need to pull back my punch.)

We will have our duel in the throne room. Everyone has given us enough space for this duel in the middle of the room. I stand 5 meters away from Mald's position, and 5m is a short distance for me now. I can move into his personal space in an instant due to my Speed Battle Stats.

Last night, I checked the significance of Battle Stats and Hidden Stats. Battle Stats is used in combat. Meanwhile, Hidden Stats is used outside of combat. Although this is only a spar, it is still a battle. Thus, Battle Stats become the main stats used.

Trash acts as the referee.

"3... 2... 1... Begin!"
