Who’s the true Beast

Continuation of Sylar's POV:

When we reached it, Silas gave me a quick hug and then kissed my cheek before he pulled away and took a deep breath, looking at the door before he opened it slowly. Lyle was waiting in an arm chair while Milo was on the couch with Everest. Esther stood off to the side like she had been ordered to not sit down. I slipped past Silas and went to Lyle's side, gripping his shoulder.

"Lyle, please don't freak out." I kissed the top of his head. "He means well." Lyle tensed up and I knew he was looking towards Silas. Silas tensed up at Lyle's gaze and then slowly stepped into the room, rubbing his arm and then bit his bottom lip as he looked from Lyle to Milo worriedly. Milo was wide eyed and shrinking into the couch as he saw Silas, trying not to freak out himself. Silas sighed and then walked up slowly before he knelt down in front of Lyle, looking down at the ground as he held back from trembling. Lyle shoved my hand off his shoulder and sat up, leaning in towards Silas.

"What did you do?" Lyle's voice growled at me. "Is this what you've been up to? Bringing him back after his crimes?"

"It's not his fault," Silas said quickly then looked up at Lyle. "It isn't," he told him then looked at me then looked at Lyle. "Don't blame him for it.... He's not the one that did all the horrible things I did. He only brought me back because he missed me," he defended me, looking Lyle in the eyes. "If anyone should be in trouble, it should be me."

"No kidding," Lyle hissed. "The Nero family is on their way here. You're just in time for another funeral if they catch ya here. They're upset you shot Xzander. I told them you were dead. They're going to be upset to see and smell you-" He paused and widened his eyes then turned to me. "Why do you smell like that?" I yelped and got behind the couch quickly. Silas tensed up.

"Lyle, it's not what you think," he said quickly. "When he brought me back, I was hungry... and Sylar gave me consent to drink from him before I did.... I gave him some of my venom though when I drank from him," he explained, watching Lyle closely. I kept my distance from them.

"Oh," Lyle whispered. His eyes lingered on me. "He would offer you his blood... He's so young and innocent and stupid. Stupid for running into the sun."

"He's not stupid... but yes, it was dangerous. He should've waited till nighttime if he had to leave," Silas mumbled and then looked towards Lyle. "Lyle... I came to apologize."

"For trying to kill us?" Lyle asked. Silas tensed up then nodded.

"Yes... for trying to kill you and your fledgling... for being cruel... for blaming you for all those years when it wasn't your fault.... I'm sorry for doing what I did to you... to the family," he whispered to Lyle, giving him a loving look. "I didn't realize what it was doing to everyone... and I realize now why father did what he did." Lyle's face broke then from the tension. He gave Silas a soft expression.

"Are we finally going to stop fighting?" Lyle asked. Silas smiled at him.

"Yes," he told him. "I won't fight you anymore. You're my brother. You always have been," he purred softly then bit his bottom lip before he glanced at me then at Lyle before he looked towards the floor. "But... that's exactly why I need to tell you something Lyle... something important... something you need to hear from me and not from someone else.... I'll probably be hauled away... especially if the Nero family knows. My life is probably going to be numbered as well," he mumbled.

"What did you do?" Lyle asked, his expression starting to harden. Silas didn't look up at him this time and he tensed up.

"I... I betrayed you... before I died, but you didn't know it.... No one knew except for a handful," he whispered.

"What did you do?" Lyle asked and started to stand up. Silas yelped and then looked up at him, a tear slipping from him.

"I helped a few vampires that didn't agree with the council, Lyle.... It made the new resistance, and they made me their leader," he admitted, getting it over with quickly then started to tremble as he looked away quickly and braced himself. "I'm so sorry, Lyle," he whispered. "I was wrong. I shouldn't have done it.... I was blind...."

"You're telling me..." Lyle clenched his jaw. "You..." His muscles began to tense up. "Were the leader of the resistance?" Silas looked up at him.

"Y-yes... I was.... I needed to let you hear it from me though... and I'm not going to run. I'm going to accept my punishment, even if it's death... a true death," he whispered and then looked down at the ground. "I can't erase what I did, even though I want to. I wish I could go back and change what I have done... but I can't.... All I can do is pay for what I've done now and accept every single consequence. The Nero family will kill me. I know that at least." Lyle glared down Silas, keeping silent like he was deep in thought. I glanced around the room then, wanting to know what they thought. Esther looked confused and shocked, staring at Silas like she couldn't believe it while Everest was looking at Lyle worriedly like he wanted to go to him but kept himself down as he glanced at Silas nervously like he didn't want this to be happening. Milo was watching Lyle with worry, his hands clenched as he did his best not to run up to his master and lover. Silas kept silent, letting it stay instead of saying something that could possibly make it worse as he looked at the ground, holding back his trembling to look somewhat a little stronger in front of Lyle. I could tell he was scared though... scared of Lyle rejecting him after all of this, that he couldn't change their relationship. Lyle reached down suddenly and yanked Silas's chin up to make him look him in the eyes. He stared at him for a few minutes before his body relaxed completely and he gave him a smile.

"Listen closely to what I'm about to tell you," he smirked then. He hauled Silas to his feet by his chin. "Are you listening?" Silas yelped and winced in pain.

"Y-yes," he said softly to him. He didn't struggle though.

"The Nero family is coming here tonight." His eyes left Silas as he looked around the room then back at Silas. "Ask forgiveness from the others right now and come back to me when you've been forgiven. I'll give you more orders." Silas nodded and then moved away, looking towards Esther first. She watched him and smiled towards him.

"Of course I forgive you dummy," she told him and giggled. "I always hoped that you would come around. You've proven that you regret your choices. I'm not going to hold it over you for what you did in the past. The old Silas wouldn't have asked for any of this. He would've just glared at us all and never told us himself." He relaxed a little and gave her a grateful smile. "You better make it up to Lyle though if you get the chance to," she warned then crossed her arms, holding back a sweet smile. He bit his bottom lip then nodded to her before he walked up to Everest who looked a little uncomfortable with him coming near him. He stopped in front of Everest and watched him for a few seconds before he glanced towards Lyle then at Everest.

"Everest," he whispered softly then gave him a small smile. "Even if you still feel anger in the future... I want to thank you for being there for him when I wasn't. You're a good brother to him," he told him. "I'm sorry that I pushed you and Lyle and Esther away though. I shouldn't have done that to you.... All you wanted was a happy family, but I ruined that by being jealous." Everest tried to keep a stern face, watching him as he crossed his arms. "I can't promise you anything in return for your forgiveness however... even if you were to choose to forgive me."

"Who said you were going to die?" Everest countered, watching him. "If you're giving up that easily, what is the point in forgiving you? You'd let another one of my family die on me...." Silas frowned a little.

"I don't want to die... but I need to pay for my crimes," he told him softly.

"What about your crimes to this family? You'd be paying your crimes for everyone else except for us. You'd leave us so soon after you've finally realized what you were doing. Your family should come first Silas, not the others," he told him firmly. "If you want my forgiveness, you're going to have to make up for all those years of fighting everyone and yelling at everyone and acting full of hatred for us. You can't make both promises though. If you want to pay for your crimes to the vampire race, you'll let yourself be killed. If you want to pay for your crimes to your siblings and your family, you won't give up. You can't do both, so you better pick the right one," Everest told him and then crossed his legs. Lyle watched and kept his smirk. Silas frowned as he thought about it, watching Everest before he nodded.

"Okay brother," he told him. "If that is how I'm going to earn your forgiveness... then I'll try to be a better big brother for you...." Everest relaxed a little then purred towards him.

"You'll be a better big brother?" He asked, giving him a loving look. Silas smiled and nodded.

"Yes, I'll do my best," he promised him. "I'll make it up to you the best I can." Everest got up quickly and tackled him into a hug, laughing.

"My big brother~ You mean it? I'll forgive you then! You really are going to try, aren't you?" He purred then kissed Silas's cheek. "You better not ever. ever. EVER! fight with Lyle again like that though or I'll personally turn you in. I better not have to forgive you twice, because it won't happen the second time," he hissed and then pulled away, walking over towards Lyle. Silas bit his bottom lip and nodded slowly then sighed softly. He glanced towards Milo then tensed up with an oh-crap look. Milo glared him down.

"No," he said simply.

"You two should be even though..." I muttered. "You got to kill him, fair enough."

"He brought that girl in here and terrorized me with her and threw me against a wall! He's attacked Lyle and me many times! Plus he tried to kill us! He threw me to his fledgling for her to eat me!" Milo hissed and looked towards me. "He would've killed me in a second if he could've."

"That was the old him," I hissed. "He's changed."

"He told Lyle he changed before and then bit him to try to kill him!" Milo pointed out. Silas frowned a little as he watched Milo then walked up and sat down right in front of him.

"Are you really that worried that I'm going to try to kill you again?" Silas asked him, watching as Milo looked at him with a glare.

"Yes," he hissed quickly.

"Silas promised me," I told Milo. "He promised he'd stop fighting Lyle." Milo clenched his jaw and narrowed his eyes at Silas. Silas watched him then tilted his head.

"Milo... I admit that I was really wrong to do what I did... especially to you, a fan of vampires. I could've controlled Stormy more instead of egging her on to fight you with me," he told him then reached out for Milo's hand but he jerked away.

"Don't touch me," he hissed. "How could I ever forgive you? Your siblings forgave you easily but I can't. I had to kill you to make you stop. Do you understand just how much that hurt me? I never wanted to kill anyone, but I found myself sitting on a pile of ashes and blood with a crushed crystal in my hand! If you really wanted to be a better brother, why didn't you be one earlier?! Why now when the Nero family is coming? Don't tell me that it was because you died and had an epiphany!"

"Milo," I begged. "I swear he is a better vampire now. He realized his wrongs. Please forgive him." Milo softened a bit as he looked towards me then glared back at Silas.

"I can't explain all my actions logically," Silas told him. "Milo... in your human life, you had a sister, didn't you?" He asked. Milo narrowed his eyes but nodded. "Didn't you ever fight with her?" Milo frowned and gave him a confused look.

"Y-yeah," he admitted. "A few times... but it wasn't anything like what you did to Lyle," he hissed quickly.

"Of course not... but that's not what I'm getting at Milo," he purred. "What was the best feeling you ever had at the end of those fights? Was it the smug satisfaction or was it the thrill of anger or was it the sweet, kind forgiveness and better understanding that you wanted at the end?" Milo frowned.

"W... well," he trailed off, earning a smile from Silas.

"I know I'm not your older brother, but maybe one day you can be like a younger brother to me. You're more than likely going to become my brother in law though," he purred. "Wouldn't you rather say you forgave me and moved past all the anger and hatred and fear than letting this stay around us like that? Don't you just want it to end Milo?" Milo bit his bottom lip and sunk into the couch, watching Silas before he looked away.

"F-fine," he whispered. "I guess that makes a little sense... and I did even it out between us... and you do seem to be trying to get everyone's forgiveness for real this time.... You wouldn't have told Lyle if you weren't seeking some sort of forgiveness," he mumbled then looked at Silas. Silas smiled at him then.

"Thank you Milo," he whispered. "I won't hurt you or Lyle ever again. I promise...." Milo nodded but he didn't smile back, still a little uncomfortable with Silas being so close to him. I leaned over the couch and pinched Silas on the cheek.

"We already had a long conversation that I own you, so you better make me proud. I forgive you for your past."

"What do you mean by that?" Lyle asked me.

"Nothing you need to know," I said calmly. Silas blushed a little then looked at me before he nodded.

"Okay," he whispered then gave me a smile before he got to his feet and walked up to Lyle. Everest walked over to Milo then, sitting beside him as he comfortingly rubbed his back when he pulled him into a hug.

"Are you ready for your orders?" Lyle asked. Silas nodded and looked Lyle in the eyes, standing up a little straighter.

"Go up to my room and take a shower. Remain there until I send Sylar to fetch you." Lyle said calmly. "We don't want you in here when Jason comes." Silas bit his bottom lip and nodded.

"Yes Lyle," he whispered and then gave him a smile before he looked at me then walked out quickly, leaving us. Lyle looked us over.

"Everest, call some maids in with some scents to cover the fresh smell of Silas, I want you to assist them." Everest smirked and nodded.

"Oh maaaaids~ I have a task for you!" He teleported out quickly, going to go get some maids. Lyle walked up to Esther and gently rubbed her cheek.

"Esther, I want to welcome you back to my castle. I hope you'll remember what happens to those that bite and steal my fledglings." She widened her eyes and then broke out into a smile and quickly hugged him.

"I won't do it again," she promised him quickly and purred happily, kissing his cheek.

"I know you won't. I just wanted to make sure you got a reasonable punishment." He rubbed her head then pulled back from her. "We're not going to bring up to the Nero family anything that has happened in this room. Esther, could you get the servants to set up some sort of dinner table?"

"Uh huh~" She smiled at him then left to go do it, bouncing off happily. Everest appeared with some maids and they started going around the room, putting out fresh bouquets of roses in the vases and started to hide some air fresheners around the room. A few of the maids set out some strong smelling steaming tea cups before they sprayed the couches down with some Glade. They opened a few windows to let some fresh air in to keep the scents from being too strong and to help the room air out  both Silas's scent and the other stronger scents and let in some of the garden scents in as well. Lyle looked towards me then.

"How'd you do it? How'd you bring him back? You saw him too didn't you?" I froze up at his questions and gave him a half smile.

"Uh, well.... I left during the day to go to a witch..." I trailed off.

"I knew I smelled witch," Lyle muttered. "I thought I was going crazy."

"Well.... She collected some remaining crystal dust and formed his crystal for me and well... you know the rest. Of course I saw him... I just didn't want to say something."

"Why are my family members so secretive?"

"I'm not~!" Everest said, holding up a hand and waving towards Lyle. "I'm sweet and innocent as can be!" Lyle looked towards him and raised an eyebrow.

"Oh I'm sure you are."

"Weeeell... maybe not innocent.... I am gay after all, and I already lost my virginity to this cute Hawaiian I turned a long time ago~" Everest said and then went off in a daze with a smirk on his face.

"My virgin ears," I whined.

"Hey, we have a eighteen year old in the room," Lyle hissed and looked towards me with a playful smirk.

"Oh dear~ My manners~ I said something in front of a child," Everest teased, looking towards me. "He was just so hot with his brown eyes and his black, coconut scented hair~ I couldn't resist~!" I covered my ears quickly.

"No more! No more!" I begged.

"And who said you were a virgin?" Everest asked and smirked. "Those love bites all over your neck suggest otherwise~ Now, who was the lucky girl?"

"G-girl?" I asked and blushed a bright red and shook my head. "I swear it wasn't what it looks like!" Lyle looked towards my neck then with interest.

"Oooooh~ Then who put all those on your neck and didn't let you go further?" Everest teased me, giving a playful smirk.

"No one, I swear!" I covered my mouth and ducked behind the couch.

"Okay, let's not pressure our little brother..." Lyle purred. "We'll find out in due time."

"Awww, okay," Everest said and then laughed. "I won't ask him then."

"They're here," a butler informed us as he rushed into the room. "They're pulling up as I speak." Lyle started for the door then and I stood up, watching the door. I walked over to the arm chair he had been into and sat down, my heart racing. After a few minutes he came in with Jason, Primrose, Xzander, and another male I never met before. It seemed like they left the other two Nero family members at home this trip. Everest looked towards the male curiously then frowned before he looked at Jason, Primrose, and Xzander.

"Good evening," he said politely and smiled at them. "Have a seat. The maids have already fixed you tea...." Luckily, we had prepared for all the Nero family, so we had extra than what we needed.

"Oh, how thoughtful," Jason purred. "Before I sit down I would like to introduce my mate, Dmitri." He gestured to the new guy.

"Jason, I'd like to get directly to the point of our visit," Lyle said as he sat down next to Milo. Jason sat down, pulling Dmitri with him. At least now Jason won't be trying for Lyle's attention. Milo purred towards Lyle and took his hand, giving it a small squeeze. Everest smiled at Jason and then sat down on the other side of Lyle, watching the Nero family. When the other two sat down, Jason cleared his throat.

"I'd like to bring up a discussion about your brother Silas."

"Silas?" Lyle asked. "Milo had to defend himself and ended up bringing the end to him. You don't have to worry about him anymore. No one will..."

"Yes, I now understand more about your brother.... Why he was so angry and hard to control. I have it under a good informant's information that he was in fact the leader of the resistance...." Jason watched everyone in the room then, observing their reaction. Everest widened his eyes and leaned over, pretending to be shocked and devastated as he put his hand on his head.

"He was... I can't believe it," Everest whispered.

"I killed... the leader?" Milo asked, feigning confusion as he gripped Lyle's hand tighter then looked at him. "Lyle," he whimpered then moved closer to him, hiding his face in his chest as he climbed into his lap, taking his normal position as he used the opportunity to do so without too many strange looks from the Nero family. I gave a shocked expression then a look of denial and deep thought, so I wouldn't have to say anything. Lyle gave a small understanding frown.

"I was suspecting.... that's why I sent him to you in truth. I was hoping really it wasn't true.... Either way I thought you'd sure enough find out. It seems things didn't go quite as planned..." Lyle trailed off. Jason relaxed then as he observed us. He probably was making sure we weren't in lead with him.

"Yes.... Well it looks like the resistance will die down when we send word we killed their leader. Good job Milo, you have no idea what you'd done for the kingdoms." Jason gave Milo a thankful smile. Milo looked towards him and then shrunk against Lyle shyly.

"I... I don't know what to say," Milo mumbled. "I can't really look at it as helping all the kingdoms.... I was just trying to protect Lyle and myself...." He looked up at Lyle then curled up in his lap, nuzzling his head against Lyle.

"Yes, it must be hard for you to comprehend right now what you truly done. You're probably still upset about killing someone. Don't worry. The council and I had a talk- sorry Lyle but the meeting was without you. We had to discuss the situation. We determined that there won't be any consequences of what happened. In fact we look at it as a real honorable thing you done. Milo's face will be expected in the next meeting, so bring him." Jason gave a smile towards us then picked up one of the tea cups. Lyle frowned.

"You had a meeting without me?"

"To discuss the matters of the death of Silas, yes."

"How could you do that? I didn't want to announce his death just yet. I wanted our time to mourn.... he was our brother."

"He was the resistance leader," Jason hissed.

"Yes but-"

"Lyle, it's already been done."

"What was the specific discussion? The murder of my father or the murder of the resistance leader?"

"The resistance leader of course! How do you think I managed to clear you two?" Jason sipped on his tea then. "We expect you to have his funeral and invite everyone."

"What's there to bury?" I asked and hissed through my teeth. "There's nothing anymore to bury of him. How could you expect a funeral when you know how the death of a pureblood ends."

"I expect you collected his dust of course." Jason said calmly. "You did, didn't you?"

"We had the maids clean it up," Lyle said calmly.

"You did what?" Jason asked.

"The maids took care of it," I snapped.

"Why on earth would you allow that?" Jason got to his feet then. "If you don't properly burry a pureblood- idiots." Jason rubbed his head. "This is not going to go well in the papers."

"There won't be a funeral for my brother," Lyle told him. "He doesn't deserve one after what he done."

"Very well... there won't be." Jason sat the tea down. "I still can't believe you didn't properly take care of his remains."

"Why should we? He attacked me." Lyle muttered.

"And he injured us too," Milo reminded us. "We couldn't deal with it ourselves at the time.... I was badly beaten up by the end of it all...." He let out a soft whimper and then hid in Lyle's chest, gripping his shirt.

"Very well," Jason sighed. "We'll skip the topic and never discuss his remains again. It's too late to do anything about it." He sat down then. "We're clearing the rest of the resistance in the next few days. This time next year the resistance will be nothing but a fairy tale again." Milo glanced at Jason and then nodded, giving a small smile before he relaxed a little and leaned into Lyle.

"That'll be good. There won't be so much fighting after that," Milo mumbled. "That might be less work for you," he purred towards Lyle and gave him a sweet, loving look.

"It'll certainly tame life down for me," Jason agreed. "Perfect, since I just found my mate." Lyle seemed to have found that as a way to lighten the mood in the room, he scooted Milo out of his lap and grabbed his hand to give him comfort that way as he kissed his cheek then looked towards Jason.

"It'll tame life down for us all with longing for a peaceful future to be with the one we love," Lyle told him. Lyle's movement started to seem adjustable, like before he had been thinking deeply- I could tell those small gestures about him. The Nero family didn't catch it but I did. He was plotting something. I couldn't tell if it was bad or not though. "I had my sister, Esther, plan a dinner party for us. It should be done soon. We should start our way to the dinner hall." He stood up then and pulled Milo to his feet. Jason seemed to agree as he stood up and the rest of the room followed their gestures. The two heads of the families lead us down the hall and towards our family dining room. The last time the two families were at a dinner party together, it didn't go well. Is this foreshadowing? Lyle fell back in his footing and turned towards me.

"Sylar, I forgot something in my sleeping quarters...." He trailed off and started for my side, the Nero family not paying much attention. Lyle leaned into my ear then. "Could you go fetch it?" He asked me, his fingers twirled a piece of my hair suddenly as his whispers got hard to hear. "Tell him that it's time.... what we discussed many years ago about our guests. He'll understand." Lyle slipped away from me and started after our party. I headed up the stairs quickly and towards his bedroom. I kept his words in my thoughts so I wouldn't forget what to say and when I reached the bedroom I stepped inside and walked up to where he had been waiting on the couch with Lyle's body wash scent all over him. He even slipped into a pair of his clothes instead of the ones I gave him.

"Lyle said it's time. He said you'd know what he meant by it because you discussed it many years ago- it's about the Nero family. There's four of them here though. Xzander, Primrose, Jason, and his new mate Dmitri." It's not all of the family so I'm not even sure what Lyle could mean. It's something only the two of them must know about.

Lyle's POV:

On our way to the dining room we were interrupted by a butler in the hall. "Your majesty, you have an uninvited guest..." He told me and glanced around the group then back at me. "We sat another spot at the table for him."

"Did you happen to catch his name?" I asked.

"Yes, my apologies your majesty, I forgot to mention that information. He informed me that you two knew each other. His name is Mr. Vorhaus. He seemed to be believable, that's why I went ahead and set a spot for him. I had him wait in another room so your meeting wouldn't be interrupted." I nodded in approval.

"I know Mr. Vorhaus, wasn't he that wizard at our ball a few weeks ago?" Jason asked. "I remember because he was eye catching." He chuckled.

"Yes, Aurelio Vorhaus." I turned my attention to the butler. "He's a new friend of mine. Did he say his reason for visit?"

"He said he had information for you," the butler explained.

"Tell him that'll have to wait until we can be alone in my study. Go ahead and fetch him and bring him to the dining room."

"He also wanted to check on the gift. He said you'd remember what he meant by that."

"Oh yes." I nodded and turned my attention to Jason. "Aurelio bought me a rare werepolarbear, rescued her from an auction. She now lives here at peace. I haven't seen her though but once while she was sleeping. He spent twenty five grand just to ensure she'd have a safe home. He's that informant we were discussing about, the one that provided that list for us." Jason raised an eyebrow.

"Sounds like he has money to burn or a huge crush on you, Lyle." Jason laughed and I started to chuckle.

"He's definitely considered a friend of mine."

"I'd love to meet that rare treat he gave you to take care of. We must have crashed that auction, surely he put it on the list."

"I'm sure he did. He sounded disgusted as we talked about how he came across the list."

"Sounds like he's on the right side. I want to thank him for the list he gave us."

"At the table," I promised. I started us back walking down the hall, letting the butler get on with his orders. When we reached the table I sat down at the head of the table while Jason was seated at the end. Milo was placed on my left while an empty chair was left on my right for Aurelio. Dmitri was seated on Jason's left, while Primrose took the seat to his right. Esther sat next to Primrose while Everest sat between her and Milo. Xzander took the seat next to Dmitri. That left the remaining seat between him and Aurelio's empty seat for Sylar. Unless Sylar and Aurelio end up swapping but I highly doubt that'll be the outcome. It's a good thing Aurelio showed up otherwise we'd have an empty seat at the table or Jason could have been seating differently instead of on the end of the table like I was.

"Amazing," Jason said. "It's amazing how this night is turning out. We're going to have an even table once the other two are seated." I laughed as he pointed out what I was thinking. I looked towards my sister then since this was the first I saw of Esther since I gave her orders for the dinner arrangement.

"We can thank my sister, Esther, for her quick thinking." I watched as the servants entered and poured us each some wine into a wine glass. When they left the butler entered, escorting Aurelio. Nothing changed with him since the last I met him. He kept his hair the same dark chocolate color and his eyes didn't change from their purple appearance. He had on another pair of floral jeans and a white dress shirt. He was probably the most underdressed of us all but still managed to rock his outfit. He even was wearing vans. His eyes lit up as they met mine.

"King Lyle!" He took the seat where I suspected he would sit and grabbed my hand. "We have so much to discuss."

"It'll have to wait until later," I warned him. He nodded in agreement before he let my hand go and looked towards Milo.

"It's nice to see you again, how are you settling in?" Aurelio asked to make conversation.

"Aurelio, you remember Jason since you went to one of his balls..." I decided to distract him and introduce him to everyone to make sure we were all on the same page. Aurelio looked down at the end of the table.

"Ah yes, I know everyone here. Jason, his sister and brother, and Dmitri. It's been a long time since I saw his face." Aurelio smirked playfully. The servants were quick to start serving us dinner, making sure we would have something to do while others at the table talked. Jason seemed to know Sylar was still missing as the plates were sat down in front of us.

"You're missing a brother," Jason told me and chuckled.

"I know, I told him specifically where it was.... He must be doing something else up there," I chuckled. "You know how he gets. He's probably afraid we'll start dancing."

"Yes, I noticed he doesn't appear at balls..." Jason trailed off. "When he does he's usually a wall flower."

"He's still young," Aurelio joined into the conversation. He laughed and looked towards Milo. "Milo will always be Young."

Silas's POV:

I frowned a little as Sylar told me what Lyle told him to tell me. It's time? The Nero family.... I got to my feet then. "Sylar... were those his exact words?" I asked to make sure, walking up to him slowly. Does he want me to kill them all? He can't do it himself.... He's trapped in their sights at all times. I'm a movable piece. No one knows I'm here....

"Yes, I told you his exact words," Sylar told me and nodded. "Do they make sense to you?" I nodded and then grabbed his hands.

"Yeah... they do... but you might not like the meaning," I whispered and then kissed his cheek. "It's practically an order for me...."

"Why won't I like the meaning?" He asked me in confusion. "If Lyle wants you to do something..." I sighed.

"We're killing the Nero family," I whispered. "We discussed it right before we started to fight.... They were responsible for our parents' deaths and I wanted revenge. It was hunters that killed our parents and made them burn.... The only family in the area that has control over hunters is the Nero family. They're guilty of hurting our family... and it seems that Lyle wants them gone, right now. We need to go to the weapon room but move stealthily. We don't want it getting out that I'm here and alive. It will ruin everything he wants to do."

"Okay, you should put on his cloak then." He suggested and pointed to the closet door. "That'll disguise yourself as him." I nodded and then walked over to the closet, going in and then grabbed Lyle's cloak before I slipped it on.

"Good idea," I purred towards Sylar as I walked out to him then grabbed his hand. "You should go back to the dinner table so they don't suspect something. I'm going to have to get preparations in order to kill them easily." He nodded.

"I'm going to have to make sure I don't smell like you though..." He trailed off and started for the bathroom. "I'll put on some of Lyle's cologne to help my scent and I need something to bring him..." He came back out with a bottle of cologne and sprayed himself down then tossed it onto the bed and went into the closet, coming back out with one of Lyle's watches. He started for the door. "Good luck," he whispered over his shoulder to me. I watched him go and smiled before I slipped out of the room and headed in the direction of the weapon room, pulling the cloak close around me to help hide my form and my silvery hair. When I reached it, I went inside and got a handgun down, hiding it's holster under the cloak then got a few knives, slipping them into my boots and my pockets. I grabbed extra ammo and a machine gun and sniper rifle before I got a silencer. Lock and load buddies.

After having the brilliant idea to slash the Nero family's tires and check for weapons in their cars, I started to sneak my way to the dining room. I held my breath, listening in on them talking and eating as I slowly walked up, staying dead silent. Good thing I smell like Lyle. They won't suspect anything.... I smirked and then adjusted the bigger guns, planning on giving Lyle one if he wanted it. As I got closer I could hear them having small chat.

"Milo, you look so handsome from the last time I saw you." I heard a unfamiliar voice purr sweetly. "You're so well fed too.... I'm very impressed on the progress you've made."

"Th-thanks," I heard him say, sounding happy. "I really like the floral outfit. It suits you." I raised an eyebrow then pulled the hood a little tighter over my head before I pulled out the handgun, checking to make sure it was loaded. When I was sure that everything was ready for me to be quick, I snuck up towards the door and smirked. This is going to be fun... finally getting my revenge on the ones who were apart of the death of my parents. I kicked the doors open quickly and walked in, leveling the gun quickly as I looked around the room and spotted Jason, shooting him right in the chest then the head, double tapping. Jason let out a groan, his body twitching as he tried to register what just happened before face planting his plate of food. I caught Lyle grabbing a guy next to him and slipping him under the table as if to protect him.

"What the fucks going on!?" I heard him say from under the table. Lyle picked up his glass of wine then and sipped on it.

"Did someone call an exterminator?" I purred, joking around as I pointed the gun towards Primrose. She yelped and got to her feet quickly with wide eyes. I smirked and didn't hesitate to gun her down, knowing that if she got away, she'd definitely find something to kill me with. She shrieked and fell to the ground, clutching at her chest as I looked towards Xzander. He stared at Jason with wide eyes, shocked as he sat there.

"J-Jason," he whispered and I paused, watching as he slowly reached out towards Jason with a heartbroken look. I could hear screaming in the background, but it all seemed like it had fallen away as Esther fled to Everest, getting closer to him as he held her close. Xzander suddenly turned on me then. "Why?" He hissed my way, glaring at me. I smirked and pulled my hood down.

"Surprise, surprise~" I purred then started to walk up to him. "Remember when you dragged me out of the castle?" I asked him. Jason's body started to crumble then as the bullets seemed to have taken out his life source.

"If only your family had been a little more kinder..." Lyle purred as he licked his lips. "We might still have our parents and you'd still have your lives." He picked up a knife by his plate and threw it, hitting it right into Xzander's shoulder. Xzander groaned in pain and gripped his shoulder.

"You bastards," he hissed suddenly. "You lied to us." I smirked at him.

"Who's the true beast?" I asked him and then leveled my gun to his head, watching as his eyes widened. He looked at me out of the corner of his eye just as I pulled the trigger, his body falling out of the seat as it quickly crumbled along with his sister finally. I sighed and then wiped the blood that had gotten on my face off then turned to Lyle. "There we go! That's three down." Lyle knocked on the table then.

"I think you can come out now," Lyle purred. "I just wanted to make sure he wouldn't go crazy and shoot everyone he didn't know plus the Nero family."

"No way, I think I'll stay under here!" I frowned a little and went to say something to defend myself when I was suddenly tackled.
