The Test
A week had passed and It was time for the test that would decide if Amaya would pass or not. Tux stood in front of the mansion along with four adventurers. Amaya and the rest of the class stood there as he explained the test.
"You guys will be split up into four different groups. Each group will travel to a different area and complete a c-rank quest. Each group will be accompanied by a B-rank adventurer. They will monitor you as you work on the quest but will not interfere unless things get out of hand. You will be traveling to your destination by wagon. That's all. Once I tell you your group and what adventurer you'll be with then you may leave."
Tux then looked at Amaya.
"Amaya, Misaki, Maria and Suzuki. You all will be in the same group accompanied by Iron Storm a.k.a Hiromichi."
Hirochimi was a man with brown spiky hair and back-colored eyes. He had on a black trench coat. Underneath, he had on a brown shirt and brown pants. The gate opened and Amaya's group walked over to one of the wagons along with Hiromichi. Amaya and her team climbed in.
"This is gonna be great. We're gonna go on our first quest." said Suzuki.
"Yeah, I just hope a strong monster doesn't show up." Misaki replied.
Maria let out a sigh.
"We'll be alright. Also, we have a b-rank adventurer with us."
"Yeah, I guess you're right." said Misaki.
Amaya began thinking to herself.
"I always end up coming across strong monsters out of nowhere. It looks like my bad luck followed me to this world too. I should be on my guard during this quest."
Suzuki then noticed Amaya was in deep thought.
"Are you okay?"
"Y-Yeah, I'm alright." Amaya replied.
"You looked pretty deep in thought."
Hiromichi climbed into the back of the wagon.
"We are going to head out now."

At that moment the wagon began moving.
"Maybe I'll be able to find an opportunity to level up….this is going to be fun." Amaya thought to herself.
Two hours had gone by and they had arrived at a village in between the forest and a desert. Everyone climbed out of the wagon as Hiromichi explained the quest.
"Okay, the quest will be focused on fighting small sized golems. There should be a small base up ahead, that's where they'll be. The golems will be around my height or taller. If any other monsters show up then stand behind me while I deal with them. Alright let's head out."
They began walking further and further into the desert.
"Finally we're here, our first quest." said Suzuki.
Hiromichi smiled.
"I remember going on my first quest back when I was younger. It was an a-ranked one. I went with two a-rank and two b-rank adventurers. We had to deal with orcs. Suddenly an elite orc showed up and gave us a hard time. Luckly, I survived after nearly being killed. If the whole orc group had been elite orcs it might have been an s-rank quest, maybe even silver. There was also this other time where….."
Sudeny, the ground began shaking. Small sized rock golems began crawling out of the ground.
"Well, there's your golems." said Hiromichi.
There were eight golems in total.
Suzuki looked at Misaki and Maria.
"Me and Amaya will fight. Maria, you're our mage so attack from a distance. Misaki, defend her."
Amaya and Suzuki ran at the golems. The golems stats came into Amaya's view.
(Level:23 Hp:150 Mp:0 Armor:250 Atk:100 Speed:43 Endurance:340)
"This'll be easy." Amaya thought to herself.
['Penetrate' has been activated]
She then swung her fist, hitting one of the golems. [Exp gained]
Two of the golems swung their fists at Amaya as she easily dodged.
One of the golems from Amaya's side and one from Suzuki's side began running towards Misaki and Maria.
"Pressure water!" Maria shouted.
A violent blast of water shot at the golem, shattering it.
The other golem swung it's fist at Misaki as she jumped to the side and kicked it's chest, shattering it.
"These things are pretty weak." said Misaki.

"Still not enough to level up." Amaya Thought to herself.
She then looked over at Suzuki and saw that she had already beaten the golems she was fighting.
Hiromichi then thought to himself.
"They easily handled them. Their stats aren't b-rank but their skill is….."
Amaya let out a sigh.
"I was hoping to find an opportunity to…" Suddenly, Amaya saw a huge shadow coming from behind followed by a hissing sound.
She then slowly turned around and finished her sentence.
"...level up."
The monster was a giant snake with black colored skin and red eyes.
"Everyone, get back!" Hiromichi shouted.
Amaya and Suzuki stepped back.
Hiromichi began thinking to himself.
"This isn't good, a high level monster showed up out of nowhere. From it's health alone, I'd say it's easily an a-rank monster."
Amaya looked at the snake and it's stats came into view.

The snake swung its tail at Hiromichi, hitting him.

He fell down, unconscious.
Amaya then thought to herself.
"What's 'Al'? No...I'll worry about that later."
She then turned to Maria.
"Can you enhance my speed?"
"For how long?" Maria asked.
"Just long enough to land a hit. That thing's speed is 237. My speed is 197."
"Okay, understand," Maria replied.
She then held out her hand towards Amaya and began chanting.
"Enhance my target's speed."
(Maria: Mp: 1,479/1,879)
A bright blue light covered Amaya's body. She then ran towards the snake at an amazing speed.
"Penetrate." She swung her fist, hitting the snake.
(Giant Elite Viper: Hp:5,022/6,000)
"That's still not enough?" Amaya thought to herself.
One hit then another, she began rapidly striking the snake.
(Giant Elite Viper: Hp: 2,822/5,022 Armor: 0/3,000)
The speed boosting spell that Maria casted on Amaya had worn off.
The snake swung it's tail at Amaya.
"Dash!" She quickly moved out the way then shouted.
"Maria, enhance my speed again!"
Maria held out her hand and chanted.
"Enhance my target's speed!" (Maria: Mp: 1,665- 400)
The snake swung it's tail at Amaya once more as she quickly guarded her head.
(Amaya: Hp:1/751) The impact sent Amaya flying across the air then landing on her back.
The snake then slithered over to Maria.
"Earth wall!" A wall appeared separating her and the snake.
(Maria: Mp: 0/1,851) The snake swung its tail hitting the wall.
The wall cracked but did not shatter. The snake hit the wall once more.
Again, the wall did not shatter.
Misaki ran towards the snake.
"Strengthen!" She swung her fist, hitting the snake's skin.
(Giant Elite Viper: Hp: 2,369/6,000)
The snake's eyes suddenly glew red.
[Enemy activated skill: Speed Boost] It then swung it's tail and hit Misaki.
(Misaki: Hp: 129/879) The impact sent her rolling across the ground.
"Take this!" Suzuki shouted. She then slammed her fist against the snakes skin.
The snake turned its head, opened its mouth and launched at Her.
"Dash!" She quickly moved to the side.
Suddenly, The snake's tail wrapped around Suzuki and lifted her into the air.
"Agghhh, I can't move!" The snake's tail then slammed her onto the ground.
(Suzuki: Hp: 334/1,084)
Misaki stood up and saw that Suzuki was on the ground.
"We have to run." She thought to herself.
Maria let out a shout as she held out her hand
"Fire ball!"
A giant hot ball of firel shot out and flew towards the snake.
(Giant Elite Viper: Hp:24/6,000) It turned and looked at Maria.
A chill shot down her spine as she thought to herself.
"I'm going to die!"
The snake began slithering towards her and opened its mouth
Suddenly, Amaya stood up and slammed her fist into the snake's head.

[New skill learned: Speed Boost]
She turned and looked at Maria.
"Hiromichi is pretty hurt, can you heal him?"
"Y-Yeah." Maria replied.
Maria then ran over to Hiromichi who was laying on the floor.
She held out her hand and chanted.
"Heal my target." A green light shone from her hand.
A couple seconds had passed and he had finally regained consciousness.
"What happened? Where did the snake go?" Hiromichi asked.
"We took care of it." Maria replied.
Amaya and the rest of the group walked over to Hiromichi.
"Is that all for our quest?" Amaya asked.
Hiromichi then stood up.
"Yeah, we can all head back to the wagon."
Misaki, Suzuki and Amaya all let out a breath of relief.
"Good, I'm feeling kind of tired." said Misaki.
"Yeah, me too." Suzuki replied.
They all began walking back towards the wagon. Once they reached it, they all climbed inside.
The wagon then began moving.
Amaya then activated her "Analyze" skill.
Inside her mind she spoke.
"Analyze, What is 'Al'?" A description came into Amaya's view.
(Al- Stands for "After Life" After losing all of your Hp then your Al will show up. Your Al is 50% of your Hp. Even after losing all of your Hp you will continue to stay alive unless you're Al also turns 0)
"Ohhh, I get it now." Amaya thought to herself.
Hiromichi was deep in thought.
"This group altogether has to at least be as strong as an a-rank adventurer."
The wagon had arrived back at the mansion. They all climbed out.
Amaya looked up at the sky and noticed that the sun was going down.
"It was a pretty short day." She thought to herself.
The gate opened and they all walked into the yard.
Tux was standing there waiting to hear how they did as Hiromichi walked up to him.
"They easily handled their quest. Then…a monster on the level of an a-rank or higher showed up. I was quickly defeated but, when regained consciousness they had already dealt with it."
Tux Looked surprised.
"I guess that's what I should have expected from the above average class."
Amaya, Suzuki, Maria and Misaki all went up to their room.
"Today was tiring." said Misaki.
Suzuki threw herself on the bed.
"I know, I'm so tired I can fall asleep right now."
Amaya let out a yawn.
"Actually, I think I'm going to go to bed."
"Well, goodnight." said Maria.
Amaya slowly closed her eyes and thought to herself.
"Finally, I get to graduate tomorrow."
Next day...Day of graduation.
Amaya, Suzuki, Misaki, and Maria entered the classroom and took a seat.
Tux stood in front of the chalkboard.
"Class, not a single one of you guys...failed. You all passed, congrats. There's really nothing left to say. Be whatever you want, a knight, mage, adventurer, medic, or anything else. Each and everyone of you has great potential. That's all. You may now head back to your homes. Class, dismissed."
Everyone stood up out of their seats and left the classroom. When Amaya had finally made it into the yard it was crowded with people.
Suzuki, Misaki and Maria walked up to Amaya.
"Well, I guess this is goodbye." said Suzuki.
"Yeah, I guess it Is." Amaya replied.
"You all were great friends." said Misaki.
Emi ran up to Amaya.
"It's been a long long time since I saw you."
"I know, It's been forever." said Amaya.
She then turned to look at everyone one last time.
"Well, I better head off now. Hopefully we'll all see eachother again."
Her and Emi began walking towards the opened Gate.
Atsuya stopped Amaya and handed her a piece of paper.
"Just in case you decide to join. The pay is High."
Amaya looked down at the paper.

Atsuya put his hand on her shoulder.
"Stay safe out there."
"I will."
Amaya and Emi began walking into the forest.
Hours had passed and it was night. Amaya and Emi had stopped and started a campfire.
Amaya began thinking to herself.
"When we head back into town I'm going to join an adventurers guild. I'll wait on joining the Defenders adventurer guild because it's pretty far away."
She then let out a yawn.
"Well, I guess it's time to sleep.
Amaya then laid down against a tree and slowly closed her eyes.
Sunrise….Amaya opened her eyes as the bright sun shined.
"Ah, so..bright."
She then sat up and sat there for a couple seconds.
"Time to head out."
Amaya and Emi began walking. An hour passed and they were almost to the town.
Amaya suddenly stopped walking.
"What's wrong?" Emi asked.
"Something just doesn't feel right." [New skill learned: lvl.1 Sixth Sense]
Suddenly, a pair of large footsteps stepped out from the tree.
"Oh, you noticed me?"
It was an orc.
"Are you going to let us pass or will I have to fight you?" Amaya asked.
The orc reached behind and pulled out a long curved sword.
Amaya looked at the weapon.
(Weapon: Atk: 532)
"That weapon's pretty dangerous." Amaya thought to herself. She then looked at the orc and it's stats came into view.
(Elite Orc: Level:98 Hp:9,000 Mp:2,300 Atk:1,922 Speed:244 Endurance:211)
She knew that the orc was bad news. Handling this monster was going to be no easy task.
"Why are there so many orcs everywhere? Anyways, one wrong move and I'll die." Amaya thought to herself.
The orc began walking towards her.
"Emi, stand back."
Amaya reached both of her hands behind and pulled out both of her daggers. The orc swung its sword down at Amaya.
She quickly jumped the side and began swinging both of her daggers.
The orc easily moved his sword and blocked each attack.
"He's pretty fast." Amaya thought to herself.
The orc grabbed Amaya's arm and threw across the ground.
(Amaya: Hp: 480/801) The orc ran at her and swung its sword once more.
"Dash!" Amaya quickly rolled out of the way and jumped to her feet.
[You have activated a skill: Speed Boost] [You have activated a skill: Penetrate]
Amaya ran at the orc and stabbed both of the daggers in its chest.
It yelled out in pain then swung it's sword at her.
She easily ducked and kicked the orcs knee, knocking it to the ground.
She jumped up and stomped down on its face.
After that, Amaya took a couple steps back as the orc got back up.
['Speed Boost' has deactivated.] The orc threw its sword at Amaya.
"Dash!" She jumped out of the way when suddenly, the orc grabbed Amaya by the throat and lifted her into the air.
"Annoying human,this is your end." The orc bent down and picked up its sword all while holding Amaya. It slowly brought the sword up to her neck. She reached her hand out just enough to touch the orcs face.
She then let out a chant.
"Fire...blast…"
The orcs head then engulfed in flames as he dropped Amaya and yelled out in pain.
"Aggghhhh!!"
(Elite Orc: Hp: 3,780/9,000) She then yanked her daggers out of it's chest and stabbed them into the orc's knee. He kneeled down in pain as Amaya yanked her daggers back out.
She grabbed both sides of his head and slammed her knee into his face.
The orc stood up once more and reached out to grab Amaya. She weaved to the side and touched his chest.
"Lighting shock." Electricity shot out of Amaya's hand and shocked the orc. Amaya then quickly and firmly slammed her palm into it's chest then swung her fist and it's jaw.
(EliteOrc: Hp:391/9,000) The orc dropped its sword. Amaya jumped up and kicked the orc across its face.

"Analyze, storage." said Amaya. A description came into view.
(Storage: When activated, a small portal will appear and you will be able to store objects. You can make stored objects appear into your hand then disappear back into storage. You can store up to five objects. By investing 100 silver coins into this skill your store limit will increase by two every time you invest.)
"Does that mean I can take that orcs sword?" Amaya thought to herself.
Amaya walked over to the dead orc and picked up it's sword.
['Storage' has been activated] A small blue portal appeared and Amaya placed the sword into it. Amay then placed her dagger into it.
"So it can hold all my items and weapons. This will come in handy
['Storage' has been deactivated.]
"You can come out now, Emi"
Emi stepped out from behind a tree. Amaya handed her a dagger.
"What's this?" Emi asked.
"When we were in town I bought you this but just haven't given it to you yet. Here you go."
Amaya handed emi the dagger along with it's scavern.
"Thank you." said Emi.
Amaya put her hand on Emi's head.
"Alright, let's start walking."
