The Ace Shooter

There was an extremely talented shooter. Not as good as Midorima, but close to it. The HBI was lucky to have an ace up their sleeve. Luckily for them, he wasn't well known as a shooter. He first picked up a basketball at 14 years old, and he was 15. He had never had any worries in his life. He came from an extremely wealthy family. He was skilled at every sport he tried. Some would call him a prodigy, and he only played basketball because he felt like it. He was always looking for a struggle. He had never worked a day in his life. His parents funded everything he did and he never felt like doing more than he was required to do. He was dumb as a brick. He got into his school because of sports. The only time he ever displayed some sort of sense was on a pitch, court, or field.

One day, He saw some people on the streets playing basketball. He hadn't ever played it so he didn't know how but he still watched it. He was fascinated by the sport. He wanted to know the rules so that he could play too so he searched it up. He started watching games and even convinced his dad to send him to America to train. After a month of basic training abroad, he found his position: Shooting Guard. At first, he wanted to apply to Shutoku and Seirin on a sports scholarship but when he found out he couldn't be a starter, his pride didn't allow it. He chose to go to a random school and apply for an external team nearby. That's when he found out about the HBI.

He went there and formed a three-way combo with Kiyoshi and Nakanishi, being Kiyoshi's partner when Nakanishi was on defense. He became a skilled Shooting Guard. Named Kono Masanori, his nickname was the ace shooter.
