this is a pretty short story with time as batter, a few youngsters as ingredients who get mixed by a blender known as Pompeii.

note: some parts of the story might be facts while others are just made up. There might be some grammatical errors in between, please don't mind them?.

The Rendezvous: Pompeii

No one came. So I had to change my plans. I had to dye my hair. But there was no chemical dyes available around of course!


When I was heading back I saw someone burning something. I got a very good idea!! I can make my own temporary dye made of ash!! It won't be the best, but still... Something is better than nothing!


I decided to go back and burn something. On my way I crossed some street hawkers. They sold many jewellery stuff, clothes, pots, vases, et cetera. Just then I heard someone shout, " capillamentum (full wigs)!! Galerus (half wigs)!!!"


I turned back to find a woman selling WIGS!! I didn't have to make one!! I went to her and bought a capillamentum for men. It costed me a lot. 7 Silver coins after bargaining.


This wig will be on my head all the time. I felt really happy, now that I won't be kidnapped for my beauty (not bragging¯\_(ツ)_/¯)!!


"Can I have that set of clothes?", I asked stopping at a street clothes seller.


"But it's for men...", He said a little confused.


"Umm. It's for my dear husband!!", I lied.


"Hey it's not worth that much!! Fine I'll go to the next one there!", I fought back.


" Wait, WAIT!!  50 copper coins. That's my final price."


I traded the dress with a silver coin (1 silver coin is worth 50 copper coins), came back to my cabin, and immediately tried it on.


I did look like a man... But not a macho one... I looked more feminine... That was fine... People would just think that I was poor and did not have much to eat.


I decided to go around the city with my new costume. When I went out, it was already dark. So I ditched the idea and came back to sleep. The next few days went just fine, me buying food, coming back and cooking and just fool around the city, until one day, I ran out of money.


I looked into my pouch to find literally nothing.


"Ohh I left my money at home! I brought the wrong pouch. Haha...", I said with embarrassment.


I ran from there without know what to do. I've run out of money!! Where do I get them from?! I can't keep stealing!! Then I would have to hide from people forever!! I had to work to get money. Since I was dressed as a man I shouldn't really have a problem in finding a job....


I got really frustrated when no one offered me a job. So I was just carelessly walking around the city, when I suddenly bumped into someone. It was some rich guy.


"It's alright. Be careful next time.", He said.


Wow he was so polite!! I never knew rich man would be this kind!!


But when I saw his face, I recognized him immediately. It was that guy from whom I robbed!! But last time I saw him he was beating up someone! kicking and stamping!! But to me, he was really polite!!


" Um, excuse me!! I am out of money and I have no food to eat. Oh good, kind man, could you please help me find a job?"


he stared at me for a moment. Did he recognize me?! but I was wearing a wig and was dressed as a man!!
