In Love with a Shapeshifter (part 2)

When I was riving to my dads house, I wondered how the house got on fire. Did she make the house caught on fire? Did she leave the heater on again? I will never know because she's gone, forever.

I look in the passenger seat and pick the slip of paper with the address on it. I unfold it and read the address. I look around to find his house, once i do I'm amazed at how huge it is.

I park my car on the side of the road so I don't mess up anything. I get out, walk up to the door and knock. After two knocks someone answers. I its a woman.

This woman has long blonde hair. She has soft blue eyes, her smile is warm, but has something strange about it.

"Oh my gosh, its you!" She puts her hands out and hugs me.

"Its me?" I'm so confused. Who is she?

"Oh I'm so sorry. I'm Diana, your fathers wife". She let go of me and I was so stiff , I completely froze.

"Diana, were are you? Is she here?" Said my dad coming around the corner. He look well. I'm mean rich. How did this happen?

He came over and wrapped his arm around the woman's waist.

"Don't over do her. She just got here." He said to the woman.

" Hi hon, who are you?" He asked me.

"It just got worse. So much worse." I say without a single sign of hesitation. Since when did he care about me?

"Well, welcome home." Said his wife, Diana.

"This is not my home. Home is were my mom is," I blurt out. She looked offended, "I'm sorry, I just had a rough day. Is there some were I can wash up?"

"Yeah, there is bathroom up stairs by Byth's room, she has some clothes you can use. You two will get along well."

"Thanks you so much," I say to her but she was all ready gone, "OK, that was strange."

I walk up stairs and find Blyth's room. I open the door, and her room is covered in black. "Shes Gothic, cool." I look around the room for her and shes on the bed with headphones in. I walk around a little and she doesn't even notice me. She looks asleep.

"Hello, Blyth?" I say. She's doesnt even hear me. "Hello!" I say louder. Still nothing. I walk over to her and pull out one off her earphones.

"What was that for! Who are you? Wait your My moms husbands daughter, I'm I right?."

"Yes I am, I'm Karla, your new sister." I was not proud of it either.

" Half sisters to be exact, I'm Blyth. Why did you come in here?"

"Your mom said I can use some of your clothes. I need to take a shower."

"Here is some clothes, your room is at the end of the hall." She throws me some clothes.

I leave the room and go to the bathroom to take a shower. It feels good to wash off what happened today, but it will stay with me forever.

When I'm done I get dressed and check out my room. Its huge. The bed is plush and warm when I sit on it. I go over to the window and look out it. It is a perfect view of the woods.

I'm so tired of what happened to today, so I get under the covers of the bed, and quickly fall asleep.
