The Return

After receiving the cloak, he apparated out to a secluded area, placing wards around so he wouldn't be disturbed.

Trenton then took out the wand, cloak, and the stone placing them side by side as they started to resonate with each other.

"Now what?" he murmured to himself.

He knew this was still a far shot at getting what he wants but he thought if he could just contact death he could make a deal.

Seeing nothing happening he put on the cloak while holding the wand in his right hand and the stone in his left hand. The resonance immediately increased, but with little else happening he tried to concentrate magic into each object, and still, nothing.

Growing frustrated he was just about to give up when he caught something at the corner of his eye flashing. Looking over he saw there was a spot off in the distance emitting a signal that felt like it was calling him over the more he stared at it.

Following it he eventually ended up in the ministry looking at an archway with a tattered, black curtain.

He breathed in deeply as he realized what he had to do, stepping into what he perceived to be a doorway, vanishing from the world.

He entered into an eerie shadow world, the silence was deafening, he felt the need to do something to say anything to make just a bit of noise.

"Hello? Anybody out there?!" he yelled out into the darkness, hoping for a response.

Sometime later he asked in a quiet voice almost afraid to receive a response- "Death?"

Suddenly the shadow world shook, terrifying screams resounded through the dark realm in fear, the sounds of the dead.

Darkness then started to congeal into a solid form in front of him as the famous cloak figure of death appeared before him.

An otherworldly voice came from the figure- "It's been a long, long time since a living bean entered my realm."

Trenton sucked in a breath of cold air as he tried to come to grips with what was in front of him.

Death feeling his nervousness responded- "I took the form your kind knows me best as."

Trenton gathering his courage asked the question that plagued him for years- "Why did you make these items and give them to those three?"

Death- "For fun."

Trenton hearing the answer just about choked as he thought it would be a far more meaningful thing.

Death continued- "They are also a key as you have gathered, a key for the worthy to come here and visit my realm, to broaden your horizons and push the limits of what can be achieved."

Trenton- "Why would you care?"

Trenton then felt Death made an evil grin though he could see nothing beyond the dark cloak.

Death- "Of course so I can have richer harvests."

Trenton started sweating, fearing for his life as he started to forget why he was here and just hoped he made it out alive.

Death- "Since you are the first to come here in such a very long time, I'll give you a reward."

Death then waved his hand around powering up the deathly hallows as they now glowed a powerful black light.

Death- "When you know what you want just think of it with the objects and it will be done." he then vanished from sight.

Trenton wiped the sweat off his brow, feeling relieved that he was still in one piece.

With Death's pressure now gone he looked upon the dark glowing objects, wondering how to proceed, he had to know exactly what he wanted before he put thought to action. He just hoped it was powerful enough to do what he wished, but knowing Death, he didn't see a reason it wouldn't be.

He tightly clutched the objects and gave his wish, trying to think as hard as he could, sending his thoughts to the objects, 'Take me back, take me back so I can save her, everyone remembers the boy who lived, but I have not forgotten the girl who mattered.'

It was not too farfetched to say that if it wasn't for Hermonie then there would be no Harry.

Everything went dark as he expressed to the objects his greatest desire.

The objects did as he wished though he was unaware that a lot of his memories would be wiped due to being born again. A young mind could only hold so much information, but it would come back as he aged, locked in place until he matured enough to receive them, bit by bit.

He was now a young kid again that just moved with his family and became next-door neighbors to the Grangers.

He had short dark red hair and eyes but otherwise looked the same as his past self not that he would know yet.

He was good friends with the next door girl and often helped her out when bullies bothered her, he wasn't sure why he cared so much for her yet, but he liked her a lot and wanted to be friends.

Their first meeting was a bit awkward but they hit it off, recalling the moment.

Age 9 Trenton saw a cute brown haired girl getting picked on for being a know it all.

She was in her own way trying to befriend them but came off sounding condescending when she tried to correct their mistakes.

When one of the bigger kids pushed her, Trenton snapped- "Hey don't do that!"

The kid in question turned and hesitated for a brief moment upon seeing the demon eye kid heading towards them.

"I do what I want! What are you going to do about it." the big kid said growing confidence from those around him.

The brown-haired girl who was softly crying on the ground after being pushed looked up to the boy who came to her rescue and was mesmerized by his unique look.

Trenton began reprimanding him in his childlike voice- "You don't push people, that's bad."

The big kid sneered as he pushed Trenton on his butt who eyes watered briefly at failing to stop the kid and looking bad in front of the girl he wished to help.

He toughened up though, holding back his tears as he got up and yelled- "Don't do that!"

The big kid yelled back- "Shut up freak!" pushing Trenton back down

Hermonie seeing the kid having a hard time, got up and said while sniffling- "Stop that, I'll tell on you."

The big snorted at her- "Freaks sticking together, Two freaks sitting in a tree, k I s s I n g." he started to make fun of them, laughing with his friends at their misery before leaving when the bell rang.

Trenton got back up as the girl started to cry a little again, he turned around to wipe his eyes making sure he didn't have any tears before turning back to say hi.

"Hi, my names Trenton, I know what it's like to get bullied, people don't like my eyes, but if you're okay with it, I would love to be friends."

Hermione still sniffling was shocked at what she heard- "You mean it? You want to be friends with me?"
