The importance of understanding

"It's been a while since I talk to her, after that embarrassing moment, she never talk or just look at me again, something was bothering her but, she don't want to talk about, after all, we are seat mates but, we acting like we don't see each other and it's been 4th day of school, but still, same thing happens even this time"

It's afternoon and all class has been dismissed, Eito walking with Toshiaki on the hallway while talking about their hobbies.

*Toshiaki phone rings*

"Oh shoot, my mom text me"

"Hmm... what she says?"

"They say we have visitors tonight and she ask me to come home early so I might give some help"

"Tch... go now, your mom might get angry"

"But I will leave you alone"

"Just go, you're lucky you have a family to help, besides, my home is not so far from here unlike yours"

"Well said, then I should go now... take care"

Toshiaki ran on his way home, while Eito continue to walks when he heard someone talking through the phone.

"Eh? Isn't that Sugihara?... why is she still here?"

Eito carefully hides on the wall to eavesdrop on Emiko and the person behind the phone.

"Why?!!... just leave me alone... I'm so enough with your lies... I will never ever ask for help to you again dad... I leave the house because I want to, or should I say because you want it"

"I wonder what their talking about but, it seems like they don't get along well with her dad... oh wait, when did I care about other girl aside from my sister? Is it when she ask me about to be her friend? But she just kick me, but seeing her so troubled, it kinda worries me"

"Enough dad, you're making me late... I should go now"

Emiko ended the call, then she suddenly cries like a child, Eito was shocked and worried about what he just saw, then he headed to the exit to avoid being caught by her.

"The way she cries, is like a total sadness for her, maybe I could help her to talk about it tomorrow before weekend... but will she appreciate it or rather, get mad at me just like always"

Eito walk on the streets and headed to the convenience store to buy some ice cream for her sister then headed straight to his way home.

"I'm home!"

His sister Riku, running downstairs as she greets her brother.

"Welcome back brother, what did you brought this time?"

"Just like always, your favorite chocolate ice cream" grabs the ice cream in the plastic then smiles.

"Thank you!, you really know my favorite, right?"

"Of course, your my sister after all"

Eito walks upstairs where his room was located. He change his attire into blue t-shirt and a black jogging pants with stripes, then he lay down on the bed thinking about he heard on Emiko's talking to her dad.

"Maybe the only problem bothering her is her own dad... I know it's bad on messing with other family business but, I feel like she really needs a help"

After laying on the bed, he head back to the dining room to eat dinner with his sister.

"Thank you for the food" Riku and Eito said.

"Say brother, how was your school?"

"Ahhh... nothing just another normal school day"

"Really? They said that high school is the most enjoyable school level"

"Well... I guess for others it's fun but for me, it's like normal"

"Maybe you should make some friends, other than Toshiaki"

"Heheh... Actually, I am content with one true friend Riku"

"I see... oh, could I ask a question?"

"Sure, what's that?"

"Are you planning to have a girlfriend?"

"Tch... don't ask that question because I would say no always"

"What's wrong? Having a true friend is amazing but, when you have someone who shares romantic feelings with it's... priceless don't you think?"

"I'm happy now that I have you and Toshiaki, so, I would say no"

"Oh really? You're really are hopeless... how bout a girl as a friend"

Eito suddenly stops eating and he can't say any words through his mouth.

"What's wrong?"

"Well... Riku could I ask you something?"

"I can't say no that, so go on"

"Do a girl need someone who can talk about her problem?"

"Well yeah, unlike you guys, you can hide and keep your feelings to yourselves but, we need someone who can talk especially when we are really troubled because we are really sensitive... so why did you ask brother?"

"Nothing... it just comes in my mind"

"I see..." Riku continue to eat her food then grins.

"I'm done now, you really are a good cook Riku"

"Thank you, you should rest then sleep now brother, or you might get late"

Eito nods and head back to his room then he jumped on his bed.

"Someone who can talk to... I guess I'll try my best to talk with her alone tomorrow"

Eito sleeps and the same morning routine happens when he woke up. Eito met Toshiaki on the gate as usual but this time, he caught Emiko stares at him for the first time since the first day.

"This might be a good chance, looks like she's on the mood right now."

Before the class started, all students go at their own locker, then Emiko caught something in her eyes on her locker.

"This guy wants to talk... I hope he will say something important"

She grabs the envelope and put it in her pocket. Before reaching her classroom, her phone vibrates as if there was a message.

"What the?!!" Emiko's face is so angry while she was looking at the message.
