Hogwarts, Here I Come

Crynn POV

I feel it, today's the day. After a couple days of going and surveing King's Cross Train Station, particularly focused on a certain pillar in between platform 9 & 10. No luck these few days, but i can practically feel it, "Today's the day!" I muttered to myself excitedly almost in euphoria. And the instinct's right, a few distances away, I could make out a small figure with messy black hair, dazzling emerald eyes, and perfect round spectacles, It's our hero Harry Potter!

"Yes! Today's really the day!" I shouted excitedly, not caring how people around me turned their heads to look at me, probably saying a few lines of crazy. Not caring for anything else, I immediately put on my long flat-crown hat I purchased off a hat shop. Pulling the crown down in front of my eyes, I made my way to the infamous Platform 9 ¾. I don't want to look dumb, so I reassured myself by thinking in the lines of 'You can do this'. I walked directly towards the pillar wall and I entered another 'world'. A train platform with people dressed in robes, owls flying everywhere and a lot of pets, definetely have made myself into Platform 9 ¾.

What I never expected (I should've expected it) is a moving picture of a man trading gold and above it the word, 'HAVE YOU SEEN THIS WIZARD'. Well I have to deny any memories of ever seeing the man, totally innocent. But I have to give props towards the man in the picture that looked more handsome than Sirius Black in his wanted poster. Chuckling, seeing the doors open on the side of the train (Truly a marvelous train I shall say), I immediately walked calmly not forgetting to pull down my hat, covering my face before entering the train.

I wondered how they don't have tickets or check anyone before entering the train. Truly a security flaw. I made my way towards one of the train compartements, opening the door and seeing no one, I immediately made the room my spot. I closed the door and the door window curtain. Seeing a doorlock below the door handle, I took out my trusty paper clip, two paper clips to specify. (A.N : Coming ahead would be some lockpicking action you'd find in Uncharted) Turning the clip right and the other clip left, I started pushing the clip in and after some turning and pushing, "Aha!" I got it and pushed both pins in an anticlockwise direction and 'Click', the door is succesfully locked. I normally lock pick to open doors for some obvious reasons ('Job Related Reasons') but closing doors come just as easy, not to brag.

I settled down on the left seat and started relaxing. The journey to Hogsmeade would take a few hours at most, so a relaxing sleep would help. "Mind sharing the compartement," a voice came from out of the door. It's a voice I'm oddly familiar with. A bossy tone with a tinge of arrogance. Could it be? I opened the curtain slowly to the point where you'd only be able to see my eyes from outside the door. And there the person stood, a brown curly mess of a hair, remarkable brown eyes and a beauty in the making, Hermione Granger. The brightest witch and beauty of the century stood a few feet away from the door. Not wanting interruption, "I'm sorry, but this compartement is occupied," I said quite rudely and closed the curtain the instant I saw her lips move. "Rude bunch," I heard her voice and a few footsteps later, it's all silent once again. Good thing there are probably noice reducing enchants in each compartement or the whole train would sound like Time Square on a Saturday night.

Finally slowly dozing off, I dreamt of wonderful things, mainly unicorns and rainbows coupled with a few pot of golds. Life truly couldn't be better. "Excuse me, you've arrived in Hogsmeade Station," A voice sounded interrupting my beauty sleep. I quickly woke up and pulled the curtain to show a man wearing some conductor's uniform. Professional. Promptly thinking on what i should do, I pushed the pins clockwise and shoved the door open. Having no time to react, the conductor is greeted with a jab towards the throat, silencing him and a karate swipe to the neck. Passed out wonderfully onto my arms, placing the conductor on one of the seats. I silently went towards a train exit, ignoring anyone greeting me. I immediately made my way to the shops of Hogsmeade, I saw a few landmarks mainly Rosemerta's Three Broomsticks, The Hog's Head, Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop before seeing the Wizarding Candyland, Honeydukes Sweetshop. Seeing as it's the beginning of the year and no one is at Hogsmeade, I made it to the entrance of Honeydukes. Lockpicking the entrance is as easy as squeezing lemon, it seems that wizards still used those old fashioned keys that only have two ends instead of the modern key with the mountanous edges which are much harder to lockpick.

Making my way to the back of the shop where the cellar door remains... Unlocked. Everyone should really pay more attention to security. Not bothering with any of that, I strolled down the stairs and made myself in a dusty old cellar with nothing but crates and barrels. It' so dusty that the floor fits perfectly and if you're not observant enough, you would definitely not notice a handle on the ground. Pulling the handle revealed, you guessed it, The Secret Passageway. Steping down on a staircase with over 200 steps, "Who would be sane enough to build a 200 step stair case underground, fall and you'd be dead. Slowly and carefully making my way down the dusty, arguably slippery old wood stairs not to mention extremely dark. It's good that I remembered to bring a lighter to light myself along the way. "Hogwarts! Here I come!"

Finally reaching the end of the staircase, I'm greeted with a hard, cold surface, stone perhaps? Feeling bored while walking, I decided to sing a song to appease the bore in me,

"Makin' my way downtown

Walkin' fast, faces pass and I'm homebound

Starin' blankly ahead, just making my way

Makin' a way through the crowd"

I'm incredibly bored, why would they make such a long passage with inclines and curves, I almost fell a few times resulted by the slippery stone. Finally after what it felt like hours, I made it to a stone slide. "How am I to climb this?" I complained to no one and seeing as blatant complain won't do any help, I with all my strength and effort managed to climb the horrible slipperly slide. I said the password with my wand out, "Dissendium" and prayed that it will work. I heard the statue open and I made myself out. "Good thing that they don't classify Dissendium as a spell and only as a password, it's supposed to be a spell to reveal hidden passageways but I ain't complaining.

"Finally, Hogwarts!" I shouted in my head feeling delighted.

When I was about to proceed, tap... tap... tap... "Crap!" Footsteps! Instantaneously out of reaction and reflex, I hid behing the one-eyed witch statue. I was surprised to hear what they're saying. It's great that I already made my way into Hogwarts or it'll be trouble.
