Calian POV
"So any ideas," I whispered to Jill in a hurry, the Nemesis is still flaunting his precious flame thrower, we still have time for a short discussion. "One approach would be to focus fire on his back tank, but I have no doubt for Umbrella to really reinforce it," Jill gave her opinion straight forwardly and her clear 'one approach' would mean there's a second and possibly third approach.
"What's the second approach," I asked cautiously, the Nemesis have started moving forward slowly but surely. "You still have the gadget that shoots fire?" You mean the Kingsman lighter, It's still about full. The Kingsman managed to revolutionize gas and have successfully created 'compressed' flammable gas. Just one particle of it would be enough to light a fireplace up for a whole winter's night.
I gave her a nod and waited for her next explanations. "A flame thrower shoots gas instead of flames and if you position your fire gadget in the right moment as Nemesis shot his, the fire will likely be able to set off a chain reaction the time it made its way inside the flame thrower. It will light all the gas inside and kaboom! He's toast."
"Look out," I said just in a breath's time to avoid the flames of that weapon! "What about a third option!" I cried out from behind some stacked bricks in an attempt to shy away from those red fire. "Distract him to the edge of the roof! I'll then try to push him off with pressure from my MGL explosions!"
That's a plan! Though I actually prefer the first one as it's the safest option for selfish me to be able to live through this alive and not burned to a crisp! I sprinted and appeared far behind it, shooting all I could with my UMP SMG but to no avail did it even penetrate anything. All my shots are either ricocheting off it or bouncing back towards me!
"What sort of alloy could rebound bullets!" I said aggravatingly, ducking another bout of bluish red flames above my head! "Umbrella Corporation doesn't only work on biotechnology, they are also one of the leading companies in weapons manufacturing and material science fields such as metallurgy!"
"It's a rhetorical question!" I jumped over some steel bars on the floor as I continue firing my shots, reloading once in a while. "Why aren't you shooting, Jill!" Is she waiting for me to die then to fire anything! "I need to get a clear shot on the flame thrower, not the tank, the flame thrower!" Clear shot my bottom! shooting anywhere with a grenade launcher is a sure shot!
"Jill catch!" I took out one of my fountain pens from my pouch and flung it across the fight stage. Jill with her extraordinarily quick reactions, manage to catch it in the nick of time. "Try to get close to it and stuck it on the bottom of the tank!" Why on the bottom? Because there is a small gap where equally small sized objects can fit through, and my pen can really fit it and explode it all up!
Nemesis seemed to have caught on to that and aimed his flame thrower up to the skies. What is he doing? Pressing the trigger and flames started once again flying in the air. Now I know what's it going to do, it's going to put his surroundings in a sea of flames, ensuring he'll get protected during the hunt.
As the flame descended horribly on his area, I'm quickly starting to run out of ideas and I'm not ever going to use my Kingsman Deodorant unless absolutely necessary to put out some flimsy flames. So, what's important in a big construction building, a generator, a ton of batteries, truck load of cement, tools and most important, of course! Fire extinguishers!
Come on, the roof must have a fire emergency box, I moved around trying to find the bright red box. Aha! It's there right in the corner, I shifted my eye towards Jill's, she must have thought the same thing, glad our thinking aligns perfectly. After all, great minds think alike. Jill proceeded to slide under the charge of fire and broke the box's glass with the end of her stock.
She immediately took it out and rolled out of the way just ticks away from getting engulfed in a cluster of flames. "We need to time this right, when he starts shooting upwards again, throw the fire extinguisher around his proximity! I will shoot it and the sodium bicarbonate will spread everywhere, taking the flames out and creating the perfect smoke screen for you to sneak through."
"Or I've just realized, you could lure him near one of the small generators on the floor and stun him with it," I gave my excessively great ideas from the top of my head and look at that, she nodded in fervor and silently scurried around waiting for the Nemesis' actions. BOOM! What was that again! I went to the edge and peered down at the bottom where the explosion last heard from the direction.
As I looked down in caution, the floors shook and I had stabilize myself lest I fall to the fiery hells below. What just happened?! I looked down once more and what I saw really shocked me. I saw a part of the construction building gone in a huge ball of flames and more smaller explosions drilled through the sides.
"What was that!" Jill shouted from another edge of the roof. She slowly stood up from the floor and Nemesis, well, it had also fallen from the immense shaking and has now just started to get up from his brief stupor. "This is not good, there's no balance in the building, and explosions are all over the lower levels-"
I was cut off when a bigger explosion resounded from below and the floor became much more unstable. Wait a second, is the building tilting, why is the floor's gradient changing all of a sudden. Everything became more apparent when the generators and the steel bars started moving slowly. Another large explosion happened below and the building is really starting to bend sideways.
I looked down the railing, and we are approaching closer towards another skyscraper to our right! "Jill! Hold onto the rails! The building's collapsing!" DARN DARN DARN DARN! This is TRULY the WORST day of my LIFE!
