Inside The Umbrella Facility

Calian POV

"HAHAHA!!! F*ck you Wesker!" Jill showed the middle finger to the last known location of his fallen helicopter. Rage embodying her eyes along with the pleasant thought of her taking out the big bad Albert Wesker herself. She looked to the electrical gun on her hand as smoke escaped its coils and some fire started inside the glass cylinder.

She threw it to the ground just as it burst into flames and a small explosion entirely destroyed the gun. "You said Albert Wesker is dead!" Dr. Nathaniel Bard looked to still be horrified as he looked around the sky for any signs of the helicopter and finally sighed, relieved that the threat has been neutralized.

"I heard from a friend that he died! His entire chest is a blooming big gap after being impaled by his own creation! At least that's what my friend said! I didn't know exactly if he would still be alive!" Ok, now that's just plain arguing. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, stop. We can discuss this anytime later. I believe we've got a vaccine to get and a sat phone to communicate with."

"Fine, but firstly, what's that gun!" Jill pointed onto the ground next to her where the electrical gun laid, charred, discharging small amounts of electricity around it. "That's RAI-DEN, invention of the R&D department. Shoots electricity, highly unstable, barely finished, tends to explode, no need for further explanation."

The doctor quickly finished before taking one last look to the skies and walked away towards the gates. "Today is a very eventful day. In my entire life as a soldier, a mercenary and a U.B.C.S platoon leader, this is the first time I got attacked by the undead, got derailed, attacked by a big monster, and battled an almost impenetrable helicopter!"

Mikhail roared frustratingly before following the doctor into the gates. "I feel like I could go insane," I sighed and strolled together with Jill, I've never been exhausted al my life and at the same time be energetic. The vaccine must've given some excess energy into me or something. "Is this harder than your usual missions?" Jill curiously asked, I guess I could give a little of it.

"Between dealing with this and a egomaniac hemophobic madman trying to kill everyone in the world with SIM cards. I'll gladly take the latter," I feel like laughing right now, I dislike Richmond Valentine with a big heart but Umbrella, we're now beyond sworn enemies. I will take that hidden slip mission and I will go destroy everything those Umbrella higherups ever loved.

"And how does one try to kill everyone with SIM cards?" Jill tried to pry more out of me, and well, who am I to deny such services to a beautiful lady. "He had an entire production line going for his sim cards that could explode with the capacity of a dynamite each. About to successfully release them to the world too, too bad we ambushed him in his own bunker in the mountains, foiling his nefarious plans."

Jill hummed as we reached the inside of the gate. "So where to go?" Carlos threw his Stinger to the ground and said. "Down," the doctor uttered one short word and pulled a crank. The entire gate floor started descending in the speed of a normal elevator, but instead of only fitting a dozen people, this elevator could fit 4 Umbrella trucks!

"How did no one manage to notice this?" Jill said in shock after seeing the big courtyard full of Umbrella Corp's items, undiscovered since the hospital's built. "Umbrella has very good security," the doctor spoke just before the elevator stopped, leading us into a huge cargo bay for trucks and apparently, light tanks.

We entered the bay and onto a cargo lift, bringing us to another level in this facility and through a door to a big room. "We're walking right into the belly of the beast," Kendo whispered behind as everyone looked around the room, it's another cargo bay with an overseer's room, overseeing the operations.

"It's the belly of a stagnant beast, so no worries there," Mikhail said, jumping down to the ground from our elevated level as we approached an elevator leading to the overseer's viewing room. "You forgot mentioning a yet. Look at those researchers, slaughtered. There's something here," I looked down on the three dead researchers, all around the elevator.

No bullet wounds, only scratches and very open bite marks. "Umbrella, does crafty sons of bitches," the doctor hatefully said, looking to a circuit compartment next to the elevator. "Looks like Umbrella, blew the fuse. We will need knew ones to repair the circuit, specifically three new fuses," the doctor took out three burned out fuses from the circuit and tossed them allover the floor angrily.

But darn, the doctor just played some words right there! Such a clever and timely way to use the idiom, 'blow a fuse' cause the fuses are indeed blown and Umbrella is also very angry. All of a sudden, a thump sounded from behind us like a falling object, "What was that!" We all turned our heads to see a zombie getting up from the floor.

The zombie has a very pale skin, nearing the likes of snow white, no eyes and a bloody mouth. "A pale skin! Shoot its head! Shoot its head!" The doctor frantically shouted and everyone released their bullets right at the creature, pale head's head! The firing continued until the pale head dropped back down, its face beyond recognition and overflowing with blood.

"Knife anyone?!" The doctor hurriedly said in which Carlos lent him his knife and the doctor gripped it in his hand. The doctor slowly walked over and knelt in front of the, a savage expression appeared and the doctor stabbed the pale head's neck with the combat knife over and over and over again. "Geez doc, why so excessive!" Carlos instantly responded in seeing his knife getting used as such.

"Pale heads have a very strong regenerative ability, just shooting it in its head only amounts to a 50% chance of successful termination. To really kill it, you need to cut off its cervical vertebrae," the doctor gave one last big stab and stood up, stretching his hands. Gruesome.
