Crynn POV
What is the first thought that comes to mind when dealing with two men peacefully sitting on a coffee table having a good chat? For me, I'll excuse myself politely in a more calmer situation but considering this breach of importance, something needs to be done and Calian obviously has a different opinion.
He summoned his nifty little umbrella, aimed it at the center of the table and pressed the trigger! Zap!!! Sadly, the table is made out of transition metal and we all know that those types of metals conduct electricity the best. Suffice to say, the coffee exploded out of the cup, the two men's hair instantly went kaboom to the top and they won't be able to stand for the rest of the week.
"That looks... excessive? Are you wiping their memories?" V suggested as we entered the room with Calian plucking the metal device stuck on the tabletop and proceeded to pocket it. "No, we don't need to wipe anything. Besides, they only had time to see 'Morgan Blackhand' before going down in heaps of electricity."
"How about that," Aria pushed her thumb up towards a CCTV camera. "As long as I can access the database, consider all the camera recordings for this week, fried to digital dust," and Jill turned the camera off for extra measure. "Okay, what's next after frying the poor dudes," I said and locked the door behind me, wouldn't want anyone creeping in unnoticed.
"This is exactly what we need the equipment for and explosive as well," Jill said as she silently looked at the walls, tapping and knocking at every angle. "Oh look, where else to hide a body than a freezer," Calian unplugged the circuits connected to the chiller and dumped the two static bodies into it, they'll have a great time in there.
"Here," Jill shouted as she pressed her hand down on the side of the wall. There's a clear opening right behind this wall, for the explosives," ah explosives, almost forgot about that one. "Are you going t set the explosives in a room occupied by five without the barest of covers? Not to mention we're sort of in a privately public area, won't someone hear a loud explosion?" Calian objected.
"Don't worry, this is not the explosive you'd think off. It's silent, effective and foremost used to break down walls," we'll see, we'll see, now which bag has the explosives in? "V, hand me the black bag, the larger one," Jill instructed as she took the bag out of V's hand, zipping it down and open, pulling out a thick rectangular piece of sheet that looks almost like a small blanket.
"This is what we're using for today, Militech Sound Jacket Wall Breacher. As it suggests, the cloth acts as a soundproofing mechanism, keeping sound absorbed into the material and not reflected while the explosive points are all directed in a direction opposite as to limit impact on only one straight side. This thing, tears down walls like a butter on a hot pan."
"Can I say I'm not very sure about this," Aria looked dubious and suspicious at the 'bomb' Jill's holding with her two hands. "Oh shut it, nothing will go wrong, I've seen demonstrations done with this bad boy, the only sound you're gonna hear off this is a squeak. And there's two human sized accurate dolls standing right next to the breach placement and only a single scratch happened to them so just trust me."
"Well, better get going then before anyone else develop further doubts about this," I mumbled loudly as Jill grinned, bringing the explosive over to the wall, attaching the breaching device firmly on it. "But, there is one risk in using this. If by any possibility that it isn't hollow behind that wall, the explosion will rebound backwards towards this room."
You say what now?! And you did not even think to tell us that?! "Anyway, too late for regrets!" Jill raised the detonator on her hand with a beaming smile, flicking the switch over! I closed my eyes and covered my ears to ready myself for the... Bo...om... impact??? "What is that it?" Calian questioned as ehm... yes, I only heard a small, very negligible sound.
"What did I say? Hear the expert, see nothing happened, might as well not even have any noise," I heard Jill's smug tone as I lifted my head to view at the breaching device, still somehow on the wall, hardly damaged aside from a few charred spots and tiny wisps of smoke coming from within the layer of soundproof protection.
"That was definitely less than what I was imagining," V looked incredulous, I see why because I'm feeling a tad bit suspicious too even if the proof is right in front of my eyes, I just can't believe that there's a soundproof explosive. "Let's unwrap this and voila!" Jill tugged open the breaching device and behind is a man sized hole connecting to another room!
And of course, a whole lot of shrapnel and pieces of broken metal and wall on the ground. "Let's get in, notify me if you spot any cameras," got'cha boss, I'll do just that. "There's one there," Aria helpfully pointed out as Jill quickly move to render it inoperative. After a few more cameras dealt with, this room connected to a hallway is finally secure.
Jill locked the original entrance to this undisclosed location as we finally heaved a sigh. "We made it, now what," V asked as we sauntered around this empty 10 by 10 (meters) square room with no clear purpose. Though, there is a podium with some digital controls built into it. "Oh boy, needs a password, this might take some time," Jill loudly thought as she pressed around the podium, trying to bypass it.
"How long?" I decided to inquire. "Minutes, if we're lucky, maybe about an hour or more if this turned to be very difficult," that's not the good news I was expecting. Pew!!! As I was thinking, my vision was alerted by a red something heading towards the podium in speeds more than I could comprehend!
Bzzzt!!! PSWH!!! The red something as I identify it as a laser beam, melted the top of the podium, sheering it off as sparks flew up and away. But then, the middle section of the floor opened up, separating the tiles to reveal an elevator shaped like a glass washing lift.
"How long were you saying?" I can feel Aria's smirk from behind me, should've guessed... Should've guessed.
