Crynn POV
So, this is the moon? Let's see what I remembered on astronomy, moon is much smaller than Earth, it has a surface area 35 times smaller than that of the Earth though it's still a colossal behemoth up close. And unlike my imagination of gray craters and moon rocks, the place is actually quite full. A huge half-spherical mass of glass covered a section of area with skyscrapers housed within and a slew of green life together in a fusion, utterly incredible.
But, let's not forget the endless waste of a nothingness landscape spanning around the dome that is the moon's actual surface consisting of never-ending plains of rocks. "Ligeton Space Control here to vessel HU-276, over. Parking criterions consist of payment every 10 days of stay on a vessel's size, over. Small for 40000 Luna, medium for 100000 Luna and large for 200000 Luna, over. The HU-276 space vessel is small sized, over."
"Luna? That the currency over on the moon?" Calian asked Jill on the front two seats as Jill looked at me. "And how much Eurodollars is 40000 Luna, over?" I asked through my captain communications and radioed in to the Ligeton Space Control and Ligeton I presume, is the name of the huge dome.
"Rounded up 64000 Eurodollars, over," that's what, 64 mission merits? Cheap. "That's damn expensive!" Apparently, V doesn't have the same mind as I do as she disagreed with the pricing in a shout. "We'll accept that payment, over," I said and immediately after, the control initiated it's final communications, "Accepted, over. A drone will guide you over, over."
And, yes true to the guy's words, a silver drone came up to the ship's level, blinking red and yellow lights at us, an indication for us to follow behind. "How are you going to afford, 64000 eurodollars? For the record, I'm not paying," nobody's asking you to, V. "How poor do you think we are, we will pay, fully, don't worry," Aria vouched for us as Jill and Calian drove us forwards and downwards.
"Approaching landing site," Jill stated as we flew over a district of rows and columns consisting of metal hatches. there's three sizes from what I can see, small, medium, large, and our spaceship is small. One of the hatches opened as the drone stopped mid air and waited for us to vertically descend down on a landing platform below.
"Touchdown," I muttered as we landed stably on the ground and I stretched my arms knowing this ordeal was over for now but not for too long. "Do I still have to wear the mask?" V inquired with the Anubis mask on her hand. "Yup, you'll have to wear that until we're done. Unless we're private of course, off of prying eyes," I simply said and got off my high seat.
"Let's see..." Aria hummed as a suitcase suddenly appeared on her hand, where does that come from??? She opened it to reveal a shine of green! Green... Green stacks of cash! Apparently, Aria had somehow sneakily went and bought all the Eurodollars we need from the shop. "Where the hell did you get that from?" Aria cheekily laughed at V's comment and placed a finger on her lips.
"Well, anyway, time to face a brand new music," Calian interrupted by pressing a button which opened the side door out to the moon, or at least in a landing hatch on a moon. How delightful, a dashing robot wearing a tuxedo, holding a digital pad welcomes us right in front with an artificially cold smile and fierce look.
"40000 Luna, awaiting transfer," that's all the robot said as he awaits for one of us to conduct the payment. "We're paying cash, 64000 Eurodollars," Jill came out of the back together with Aria, giving the robot a look and patting her right hand on the suitcase Aria is holding on to. "Cash?! Pardon me, you joking mate?"
British accent, this guy an aristocratic butler? "Yes, cash," Jill went on and emphasizes the word, 'cash' because clearly, the robot is a little bit surprised. "Well blimey, never had someone pay in cash before. Wait a while, gotta have to contact control for this," this is weird, is a robot capable of exuding human emotions because this robot is.
His eyes went red as that apparently indicates communication is being done because every other person in this entire communicates through their eyes, fancy. "Right, wait just a few minutes, control has sent staff here to deal with this," and with that done, the robot remained silent with his eyes still on us, watching us, super duper carefully.
Good thing there's a bench there, to take a seat. Not a few minutes into the clock, a bubbly-shaped transport came through from the corridor in front of us. That's the method of transportation here on the moon and I'm not complaining because it looks awesome to ride on. "Good morning fellas, or is it afternoon, evening? Can't ever get the time right here on the moon."
Two men exited the bubble and one of them came right up with a jovial greeting and curt handshake. "Name's Mark, that's Johnson," they introduced themselves kindly though the way pistols hand on their waists say otherwise. "We're here because Barty there, the robot, spoke to control that there's been an 'altercation' here."
"Something about saying that some guys came here paying with cash, instead of credit or debit," Mark chuckled as Aria decisively moved a step forward with the suitcase, opened, and shining with a flash of green. "Wowee! Look at that Johnson! Cash! Go get take a check," Mark whistled as Johnson moved one step closer, his eyes turning green, clearly scanning the cash.
"All real, all legal notes, safe, and the right amount," Johnson nodded in approval as Mark lifted a brow, looked at the pile of cash, then at his friend, then at us. "This is a rare occurrence. Define rare, one of a kind. You're the only guys paying with cash ever since this port was built and there's no rule on not accepting it."
"So... We'll accept it and do enjoy yourselves here. Welcome to the moon and welcome to Legiton Dome."
