One Day Vacation

Crynn POV

Well. after that long day that started from infiltrating an Antarctic Database to a robotic attack amidst a pace commercial flight, we ought to get a day off and that day is today. Yes, it's a one day vacation away from our tasks, away from our jobs and away from danger (hopefully). Anyway, time to dive in to fun, delight and enjoyment, in a span of 24 hours.

We started of simple with an expensive breakfast in a five star hotel to fill our gluttony. And I will not get into lunch and dinner and snacks because that's excessive. Just know that we had our grand tasteful fill by the end of the night. Of course, what's a vacation without a relaxing travel around this 'Ligeton Dome'.

There's a lot of attraction to be found here in this massive, small city sized dome. First on the list, amusement park. Ferris wheels, too typical so we did not have a go at it. Roller coaster, Calian had a fear of it and I hate the ride so only the girls went to have the ride full of exciting screams. We did most of the attractions, except some of the more extreme of normal ones as to not waste any time and mental strength.

We went to a shopping site, like any ordinary tourist and found that damn, shopping centers in the moon are awesome! The design is all technological and futuristic with sleek metal lines and glowing gaps with like huge moon rock decorations and an asteroid hanging down from the ceiling. It must cost a lot to build such a spectacular building.

Needless to say, we had a lot of fun spending a ton of money on needless objects. Thankfully, the mall houses a money changer so we can just exchange our Eurodollars for the required Luna as although our shop sells the moon currency, it's at a weird rate that we'd be better off just buying Eurodollars and get our Luna from the money changer.

We bought a lot of stuff. Clothing, random pieces of harmless gadgets, a camera, most useful object we acquired yet from the vacation. What do we use said camera for, you may ask? Well, if it isn't obvious, we use it to take pictures. Gotta create memories you know, from our travels and this is one of them.

The camera comes with an instant printing mechanism, you know like those trendy instant-print cameras but way better. And so, we began taking pictures and sharing it around and it went very well. Finally, our last destination lies on the Historical Museum of Ligeton where it reads the overall history of the development of the moon and how Ligeton Dome came to be.

And wouldn't you know it, wars are frequent on the moon. From the first Lunar War to the last Lunar War and like tens of small to medium sized skirmishes and campaigns. It was an definitely an interesting time, we learned a lot of historical facts, whether they're true or a subjective make-up but who cares right, history is never completely true.

And finally, back to the hotel, back to bed, back to sleep, back to empty dreams. I'm not looking forward to tomorrow.

Calian POV

I am looking forward to this day. After a bout of jolly fun yesterday, I feel like I can do anything the Gods set me out to do! Hey, I'm no Percy Jackson, I'm better than him! He may fear the skies, but I got no fear for it and let's not get started on roller coasters, anything but that. "What's the schedule for today," I smilingly said, sitting myself down on the hotel's buffet restaurant table.

Crynn is drinking coffee, Aria is drinking tea, V is having watermelon juice and Jill isn't having anything to drink. I, even with how much of a love I hold towards wine, am not having an alcoholic drink straight in the morning because no matter how high my tolerance is, you never drink alcohol after waking up or having breakfast.

"We will be catching three trains. First going to transit in Jeremiah's Coven and the second towards the Shadows of Lariet where we will be on yet another train, a private UCU train to the secretive Lunar Palace," Jill explained hotly as the tips of her lips spread. "Ehm... A private train?" V skeptically questioned with a neutrally raised tone.

"Yes, a private UCU train. We've got required credentials for it and nothing will go wrong if the Lords above deem it not to go wrong," now that's vague and Crynn knew it. "Even if it does go wrong, I'm sure we can handle all of it swimmingly," Aria showed a brilliant smile f confidence in assuring V.

"I hope you're right," V looked like she wants to say more but held back in the end. "Our timeline is... 10 am, we will be leaving shortly," Jill told us as she shut her digital pad off, closed her eyes for 5 seconds and heaved a long breathe. Surprisingly, V is still using that mask though I don't think she really needed it but it does look great on her.

"We always carry weapons with us. I know you don't carry weapons but we do and when action arrives, we'll always get you one," I said because that's true. We have our own little inventory spaces aside from cheater Jill with her gaming inventory so technically we're all cheaters in this game except this game is not a game but instead a real life scenario within a sub-world.

"I'll still carry a dagger," V unsheathed the bladed weapon on a finger and proceeded to give us a show of her careful knife swinging skills. Because, in the future, it is allowed to bringing weapons and show them off in a hotel restaurant establishment. "Well, by then, let's us just simply enjoy the buffet for a little longer and then, we can go."

Yes, as Jill said, enjoyment is key and combat comes after the door's opened.
