The Egyptians - Divine Construct(s)

General POV

"Anyway, Now that everything is accounted for, we should prepare our battle plans," excitement is within Rin as she advised everyone around the living room. "Battle plans? Sure, we can start with our abilities," Ezra and Zahid does not feel the need to hide anything from Rin, not with her being their bodyguard 'client'.

"Oh yes, do go on," Rin stretched her hand, her eyes hopeful to hear just what secrets the two associates contain. "This is the Spear of Leonidas, or at least, that's the most famous user of the spear. The rest is long lost in time. It is an Isu artifact, just think of the spear as a waning artifact of the Gods."

"Isu? I don't recognize any Deity or Pantheon by that name," Ko Gil, being the 'oldest' among them all spoke up. "Don't worry, it's an unknown group of Gods," Ezra waved it off yet Ko Gil is not convinced nor satisfied. "It's abilities include strength and agility enhancement, cell regeneration, and stealth improvement, each has a 10 second duration and 30 second cooldown."

"Like I said, waning artifact of the Gods," she emphasized 'waning' as a show that the spear itself has been weakened by time. "Quite a large set, seems like it would be quite the divine construct in its heyday," Archer complimented, Ezra or Zahid might not be familiar with the term 'divine construct', yet they perfectly got the gist of it.

"In my hands, I a second Isu Artifact, the one both you and Archer saw before," Ezra said towards Rin as her hands moved forward and a golden ball suddenly appeared. "Another divine artifact, this isn't normal," Ko Gil spoke as soon as he saw the ball. "This an Apple of Eden," Ezra said as it shone golden in power.

"Apple of Eden? The same apple eaten by Adam and Eve in the bible?" Rin sounded incredulous. "Ehm... No you see, the bible robbed the namesake. It's... complicated," oh yes it is because everyone looks hell'a curious. "You mean to say that the bible is false?" Rin sounds extremely doubtful and quite accusing.

"It's not false, it's just written wrongly," Ezra sighed and shook her head, not wanting to say anymore as she is not too clear about it as well. "Anyway, this Apple of Eden has a lot of abilities. And similar to the spear, it has a duration of 10 seconds and cooldown of 30 seconds. One of the few is energy manipulation."

The golden 'apple' shone once again as the room's temperature greatly decreased. Archer frowned and moved his hands up and down as everyone wondered what had happened. They waited ten seconds before everything returned to normal. "I just shifted the surrounding thermal energy into gravitational energy focused upon Archer, but looks like he's completely unscathed.

"Yes, in such circumstances, I would definitely have moved much slower in speed. What a useful ability!" Archer was surprised himself, an artifact capable of changing energy itself? A miracle! "Why don't we just move on to Zahir, he has more in stock," Ezra has a few more tricks up her sleeves but she'd rather show it in action rather than words.

"When you say more in stock, I think you mean, same as you. I basically have two items as well. Ah before I forget, our armor is ordinary armor, it's not any artifact or magical item. It's for... show," Zahid explained as he pulled out a sphere of sorts, glimmering in gold, gems and a cross on top. "This is a Holy Hand Grenade."

"Ehm... Isn't that a sovereign's orb?" Rin has question marks all over. "I know what you're thinking but this is not the Christian coronation tool, this is a Holy Hand Grenade. It has one time usage, upon activation, there will be a 15 second count before the grenade explodes and anything within a diameter of 20 meters will be directly atomized, this is for any last resort circumstances."

Looking at the Holy Hand Grenade, both Archer and Ko Gil received precognition warnings from their danger instincts. "Try not to use that in our vicinity, can you please put it away?" Archer requested as Zahid understood and returned the deadly object into his inventory. "One last item, it's not another divine construct is it?" Because Ko Gil is starting to doubt life.

He, the King of Heroes with an unlimited amount of treasure has unfortunately, only a few divine constructs countable with a hand. And these two human beings from an age long after has multiple divine constructs. Life is indeed never fair. "It's actually a divine construct," Ko Gil has heard more than enough.

"What is it?" Ko Gil rubbed his temples, really annoyed at what's transpiring. "This is it," Zahid had to stand for him to summon the sword. Over 120 centimeters of length, an almost modern piece of long sword appeared before their eyes. "Sure enough, another divine construct," now even Archer is unwilling.

The sword itself is unusual. Some parts of the blade seemed to cut out in a minimalist pattern. There are creases and lines engraved in as well that seemed to glow golden. The hilt as well is modeled beautifully with repeating patterns of a circle. "Why don't you try to guess what sword this is, let me give you a clue, it's very famous."

"It's also an Isu artifact?" Rin started with one brow raised. "Yup, Isu artifact as well," Zahid smiled amiably as the master and servants thought difficultly. 'Very famous? Made by an unknown pantheon? Tricky...' "Lists of Divine Constructs, a sword?" Ko Gil thought as he tapped his fingers on the couch's wooden arm.

'Asia, America, and Africa can be eliminated by process, the sword is of European look,' okay, both Archer and Ko Gil are stumped, they have absolutely no idea what the sword could be. Rin however, might have thought of one. "Wait! Could it be?! Excalibur!" Rin looked like she had won when she said the name so confidently. "No it's not," both Ko Gil and Archer denied instantly.

"Correct! It's Excalibur!"
