Lunar awakening

(Unknown vacuum- Sek's POV)----------

It worked.

Somehow, learning from Nyuitor helped. The only way I could get into the legendary blade was to knock on its door. More like piercing in through my body.

How long did I stand there?

The way I felt, I can't exactly recall the last time I felt my true self... true emotions. The kind who wouldn't care unless it piqued my interest, the kind who wouldn't care if he got rejected or lost someone close to him.

"Hmph, how long have I been standing here?", the vacuum stretched as far as the eye could see.

There was nothing but the lights of a blue night and a bottomless crystal sea which I stood upon.

"This must've been the space Shyza told me about", I took a step forward, catching a glimpse of two figures appearing on both my sides. "Other clones?"

"Would you call us that?", the clone on my right responded. He had that kind of naïve voice, that voice that constantly had possession of my actual body.

"You know who we are", the clone on my left was shrouded completely in darkness. "We're your emotions."

"Emotions?", a slight chuckled escaped my mouth. "I have no such thing."

"Ohohoho, it's been a while since I last heard that cold emotion", a cocky voice spoke up as yet another clone appeared before me with a smirk. "But it's a good thing you're back, it still baffles me how that wimpy boaster got your actual body."

"The hell!? Mind your tongue! I know Lykana has a good reason", the left clone retorted.

"You're the cause of this confusion, I have nothing to say since the real emotion has yet to accept me", the right clone folded its arms.

"Jeez, would you all shut the fuck up?", my ears were ringing.

How in the world did I fall into a deep slumber?

And of all the other emotions, it had to be the fragile one.

Damn it, I couldn't remember what happened.

"Whatever happened, I'm here to fix it", my eyes gleamed.

"Ah noise noise noise noise noise, I need sleep", a lazy version of me floated in the air, yawning.

"Ha!! You ain't gonna get enough sleep now that mister coldy here's awake!", the cocky clone laughed. "Oi boss emotion, Dzinu got your attention huh."

"You even managed to confuse the wolf spirit, great job", a serious clone tapped the left one on the shoulder and looked at me. "So, you're gaining the power of the moon sword?"

"Exactly, power brings the path to possession closer", I answered. "Now, leave now. You all are probably the reason why I can't see anything here yet."

"Oop! He mad. Hehehe, we'll leave", the cocky clone disappeared along with the others.

Almost immediately, the entire space was covered in red light as blood surfaced from beneath and a broken down shrine appeared before me.

"The shrine", my attention was suddenly diverted. "Something's coming."

*SPLASH!!*

A mountain of bodies blasted up from beneath the water, rushing towards a person in the centre.

It looked like... a boy?

"Heh", a grin swept across my face. "So that's how your soul looks like", I walked towards it. "She was right, it's a human."

"Indeed, he is", an old man suddenly appeared before me. His white hair covered most of his body as he levitated. "What is a foreign soul such as yourself doing here?"

"Hmm", my nose sniffed the air, quite excited. "You're hiding your true form."

"Oh?", he smiled. "I asked a question boy."

"I need my sword back"

"Your sword?"

"Do I really need to repeat myself?", my patience was beginning to run low.

"I'm the maker of the legendary blade, this child bears a curse and yet I allow him to live in his soul form", his voice suddenly turned dark. "Do you think I can't dispose of him?"

"I don't have time", I appeared before the large human mountain in a single step. "I tend to get impatient and easily irritated once I wake up."

The man kept silent, he was shocked as no one had dared ignore him for as long as he knew.

"Power is your primary objective, what other reason is responsible for the way you act now?", the man smoothly cut through my motives.

"Apart from power, I'm here to get a brother back", I smirked.

"Interesting", the man remarked. "There is but only one way to reclaim the power of the sword although, that will strip you of your authority over it."

"It's annoying when he acts like a slave so it works for me", my eyes closed lightly. "And I know what I must do to bring him back."

There was silence again, "Boy, your hidden emotions would've revealed themselves if only you knew yourself."

With that, he disappeared just as he appeared before.

The very sight of those angry souls trying to crush the boy was starting to disgust me, I had to get rid of them.

"Hey angry fellas"

They still rushed forward, completely ignoring me.

"Tch", I walked up to them and pulled a soul from the crowd. "I don't have time to waste on useless crap like you all, either you listen to what I have to say or you feel my wrath", my eyes glowed brighter as the urge to hunt grew larger.

"A foreign soul", the moving corpse said in an extremely low tone, instantly alerting the others.

"A foreign soul!!"

"A foreign soul has dared to touch one of our own!!"

"H-He must be gotten rid off!!"

They all began to worm together into a huge humanoid creature, bringing themselves inches close to my face.

"You shall be purged"

"Ok, I'm absorbing half of you all", I spoke with a blank expression. "Shyza's fighting that devil all alone so hurry the hell up."

The creature stared in shock.

"Hmph, Dzinu must've taken your lives away from you but, can he even move on his own?", my eyebrow rose. "Of course not, I'm willing to form a link with him. Maybe you all would choose to finally leave our bodies once you find out the kind of people we are."

A face popped out from the creature, "That war, left my family with no one to cater for them."

"H-Hey mister, is Dzinu really good?", a little boy's face popped out.

"F-Fine then, we'll merge half of our numbers with you", an old man's face popped out. "We're a 100,000"

Both my eyebrows lifted, "That's a lot, so I'll be absorbing 50,000 huh." I thought to myself for a while, "Fine then."

The creature stepped back, gradually transforming into two huge spheres. One of them slowly entered my body as the other entered Dzinu's, leaving a huge light explosion that left me partially blind.

...

"You no longer have authority over me", a familiar voice reached out as the light slowly faded away.

"I know that it's much better to feel free", a smirk appeared on my face as I looked down at the boy before me. He looked like he was around 15 years now that he was closer.

"I only chose to stay with you because someone you know has knowledge on reincarnation", Dzinu was shrouded in blue light but I could still see the seriousness in his eyes.

"I don't remember this person you're speaking about, but if I end up remembering along the way then", I shrugged.

"Tch", Dzinu snapped.

"Hm, you may be free but I still am your wielder", my glare turned sharp.

"No, I'm mad at myself for being locked up in here... without doing anything to come back", Dzinu looked away.

"We can talk after beating the Crimson guy cuz damn, my impatience is at its peak right now", I cracked my knuckles.

"Heh, fine then. I'll let you feel the power of the legendary moon sword", he smirked.

"Perfect"

(EST - Shyza's POV)------------------

"Damn it"

The demon evaded another charged attack, my cannon wasn't going to last any longer.

"Damn it!"

My scythe was completely obliterated, I was out of bombs and Dzilaiza lost her auto function.

"DAMN IT!!"

And now I sat a distance away from the monster, panting heavily as steam blew out from my arm. Sekky was too late, I wasn't going to make it, so much for finishing everything before he came.

"Sliza! Sliza can you hear me!?", I slammed my head countless times, trying to get her to function. "Why aren't you responding-", a gasp escaped my mouth as the devil's lance threw itself towards me.

Ha, I was going to die...

I didn't even get the chance to know how my real parents looked like...

No, maybe I can meet them in heaven?

Pfft, does such a place even exist?

*KLANG!*

Powerful vibrations reverberated throughout the entire area as the lance was deflected by another metal.

My eyes lit up as the figure shrouded in a blue aura stood between me and the demon.

"Sekky!"

"Seems like I made it in time", he turned back, instantly trapping me in his enchanting blue eyes that glowed mystically along with the symbol of a crescent moon on his right cheek.

"W-Well uhh, he turned into something else", I pointed at the monster, avoiding Sekky's gaze.

The transformation was complete, his skin turned redder and he got taller. The aura he radiated seemed more powerful as his wings increased in length and his horns grew even longer.

"I see", Sekky smirked.

"Mhm-", something caught me eye. "Dzinu?", his colour had returned to normal.

"Hey Shyza, made it back", came his cheerful reply.

Tears welled up in my eyes, "O-Of course."

*ROAR!!*

The demon gave an otherworldly screech as powerful worm-like whips shot up from the ground and charged towards Sekky.

"Sekky, those things aren't weak anymore!"

"Doesn't matter", Sekky's aura engulfed the worms, turning them into nothing but tiny particles. "Just a few seconds."

The blue light surrounding him shifted, forming some kind of coat around him that had ears and a tail.

"Sek, wait for my signal before releasing the moon's power", Dzinu warned.

Sekky's canines got sharper, "Got it"

*BOOM!*

He lunged at the demon at full force, instantly punching a crater into the ground and blowing a powerful gust of wind.

The demon lifted its wings, lifting itself off the ground and summoning several powered beams that snaked down.

"Heh", blue aura shot up, manipulating the beams and changing its direction.

Band of light flew in several patterns as they chased the demon only to be turned into nothing with a single swipe from the monster. Agitated, the once human looked for its target, ready to lay it to waste... but, Sekky wasn't there.

"W-Where did he go?"

Dis he simply disappears? I looked at all sides but still nowhere.

Wait, if he wasn't on the ground

"Sekky?", his figure appeared in the sky, higher than the demon. "How did-"

"Sek, now!"

"Already read the pattern!", he placed his palm on Dzinu's hilt and took in a deep breath.

A twisted grin appeared on the demon's face as it found an opportunity, "breve cogantur", energy shrunk into a tiny sphere before the demon's mouth.

"Zã", both Sekky and Dzinu's aura clashed, forming a powerful wave of energy that dispelled the Crimson sky and brought the graceful light of the full moon into view.

"flamma lanceam"

"Nyodɔme kakɛ"

An immense flame cloud shot out from the sphere, the intense heat from that high up still caused my skin to boil as it got hotter and hotter the more it got closer to its target but...

"It's... That's pretty", my eyes gleamed in awe as a soft line of blue energy shot down as if it had come straight from the moon.

The red flames instantly changed into a blue cloud as the streak of light made impact with the demon, sending it plummeting down with the loudest crash I had ever heard.
