Treasure and a surreal situation
It had been a few days since I had convinced Ning'er to give up on trying to get me back to the city and headed out to the ruins of the Ancient Orchid city, it suffices to say that if I ever come across that Emperor Kong Ming, I will smash his face in with a KI enforced punch.
That bastard is very good at hiding his treasures, I had been blowing up the entire ruins of the City lord mansion but I had absolutely zero luck in finding the hidden entrance to his tomb and his treasure, even worse is the fact that I don't remember how or where Nie Li even found the entrance to the tomb in the first place.
"Whatever, if I don't find the entrance in a few hours, I might as well use a KI bomb to blow up the ground, even if I end up losing some of the treasure due to the damage, it is still better than having nothing" I muttered to myself.
I am sure that if Kong Ming had heard my words he would have broken down in tears due to my excessive violence, after all, his mansion was already turned to nothing more than rubble by me so there is really nothing stopping me from doing what I want, as for future consequences and Nie Li's journey to this place?, I don't really care.
Nie Li already has a monstrous amount of information in his head and is an old ghost on top of that.
The people of Glory City are also mostly well to do families so even they don't really need the treasure, granted, the city will not be as powerful as it should be thanks to Niel Li, it does not mean that I will not be giving the city a few treasures that are useless to me, but unlike Nie Li, I will not blackmail the City Lord into giving his daughter to myself in exchange for the treasure or techniques, I will be selling those treasures to the City Lord at reasonable prices, I do remember that he is one of the very few people who actually cared about his city and was willing to give up his life for it, a man like that would most definitely earn the respect of every man in existence, for he was a true warrior.
Just as I was about to give up and use a KI blast to destroy the ground, I saw a small part of the ground crumble away, revealing a hollow space that led deep underground.
"Hehe, now we are talking"
I immediately flew into the hole and slowly levitated to the ground while using a KI ball as a pseudo-torch.
Just like I remember in Manhua, the entire place was filled to the brim with gold, treasures, books, and other artifacts.
I started to take all the artifacts, gold and books in the treasury, I had even taken all the demon beast crystals and soul force conductive metal in the treasury, even though they are not really useful for me I could still put them for auction and end up raking in a lot of money, besides, if I somehow come across the Nightmare Demon pot, I would be able to refine a God-level Demon Beast for Ning'er to have.
I immediately took all the treasure and stored it inside the Soul Cube.
This was another function I had recently discovered, apparently, I could store anything inside the Soul Cube and they would be stored in a perfect condition, time seems to stop working inside the Soul Cube so I don't have to worry about degradation.
After plundering the entire wealth of the Ancient Orchid City Ruins, I continued to walk into the underground tunnels and finally found the tomb of Kong Ming just like I thought, but it was then that I faced a ridiculous situation.
As soon as I got near the Tomb, I had already started to exert my KI in preparation for the assault I knew would come from the will of Kong Ming, but instead of feeling any pressure, I was stupefied by what had happened next.
The tomb started to rattle as if the things inside of it was trying to break free and under my shocked eyes, the tomb was blown apart as one of the remnant pages of the Temporal Demon Spirit book flew out and directly entered my body following which I got a screen displayed in front of me.

".....What the f*ck??" I could not help but cuss as I read the display.
This remnant page which is regarded as a supreme treasure by even those super experts and the Sage Emperor is being called a low-grade artifact by the Soul Cube? just what the hell is your background you damned thing????.
But I still do not understand why that page flew out by itself to me.
I immediately plunged my conscious into the Soul Cube and directly headed towards the new book that had appeared on one of the bookshelves, when I used the interface to look at the book which only had one page in it, I got this message.

Low-grade artifact: Remnant page of Temporal Demon Spirit Book.
A part of a low-grade artifact created as a pale imitation of the Soul Cube. It was created by a low-level Immortal from one of the Alternate versions of the planet Earth. It only has very few functions of the Soul Cube and is significantly weaker than that of the Soul Cube, for example, even though the book had the ability to store things inside it and contained thousands of ancient books in it, it did not possess the ability to update it's collection automatically every time a new technique or ability is created like the Soul Cube is capable of doing. It also is incapable of completely removing itself from the concept of time like the Soul Cube is capable of, as a result, the pocket dimension inside the book had a much smaller Time dilation compared to that of the Soul Cube. It is also only able to store knowledge that belongs to the same dimension it is currently in unlike the Soul Cube that can access pretty much any and all information in existence in every dimension in the multiverse.
All in all, it is a very cheap imitation of the Soul Cube which had caused the low level immortal that had created it to flee for his life across dimensions when the creator of the Soul Cube had learned that someone had tried to imitate his creation.
The current remnant page can be used to unlock two random skills belonging to the race of the host and depending on his luck, once the skill has unlocked the page will be absorbed by the Cube to be destroyed for good.

Looks like this cube has one hell of a grudge with the Temporal Demon Spirit Book, But to think that the origin of the book is so strange leaves me with a throbbing headache.
This also explains why the page flew out of the tomb, it had not left by its own will at all, it was forcefully pulled from the tomb by the Soul Cube to be imprisoned and, hopefully, be destroyed.
Well, it's not like I care about the damned thing anyway, and if I can use the page to get stronger then why not?.
I immediately clicked on yes and had the Soul Cube destroy the page, immediately, I felt a strand of KI enter my mind as two new skills were imprinted on my mind.

Skill: Wrath state
Allows the user to enter a partial Ozaru form whenever the user requires it, the user will not transform into a complete Ozaru and will mostly be humanoid, however, he or she will gain the traits of Ozaru, such as fur covering most of their bodies and the sharp canines, they will also be able to use most of Ozaru's powers instinctively in this state.
However, the user must use caution while using this technique as prolonged use would result in a full Ozaru transformation and the loss of sanity until the user's tail is cut off.

Skill: Aura Disguise
Allows the user to disguise his energy, it can also be used to make the others perceive the energy of the user as something else, for example, the user could use this technique to disguise his KI to appear as if it were Soul Force to others, the amount of KI the user has will also determine the level of power that is projected to those who are observing.
This skill is absolute and even a High level immortal will be unable to see through this technique.

Now, these are very useful techniques, it's almost as if the CUbe was waiting for the perfect opportunity to give me these skills.
I could use the Disguise to make the others think that I am using Soul Force instead of KI while also using the Wrath State to make it seem like I am merged with a Demon Spirit. I could very well pass myself off as a Demon Spiritualist without any problems.
Now that I have everything I have, It is time for me to head towards Glowy City and meet the City Lord and auction off my stuff.
"Hehehe, I can already imagine myself swimming in a mountain of coins!!" I mumbled, unaware of the drool escaping from the sides of my mouth.
