Jubilife City.

As they had gotten back on the road, Ashley and her Pokémon passed by a lot of people.

Luckily they managed to avoid Bewilder forest. Apparently there lived a lot of Stantler in Bewilder forest that would attack all who trespassed their territory.

Other travelers had warned Ashley and thanks to that, she was able to travel around it, leading her closer to her current destination.

As they walked on, they could already see Jubilife City in the distance. The view was breathtaking as this was the first time Ashley had seen such big buildings.

The buildings were packed tight together, while they towered high in the sky. She could see thousands of people walking through the streets doing their daily business.

She even saw all kinds of Pokémon she hadn't seen before.

Don't blame her for her lack of knowledge, she'd only seen the Pokémon that other people dropped off at Professor Rowan's lab.

Besides that, she would only read about them and see their pictures.

Besides the marvelous view, there were many Pokémon trainers walking with their Pokémon.

From time to time she could see people heartily talking to each other, while drinking at the café's spread acrosss the city.

"What do you say we take a break and look for a bite to eat?" Ashley said, her eyes shining as she looked at all the new things she saw. The thing she wanted to do most of all was buying a Pokétch, unfortunately they were recalled for now. Sonething about fakes being sold.

It was a pity, she really wanted one.

She'd heard they had all kinds of nifty apps. She didn't know what kind of app, but she'd at least heard of a coin toss app and a affection checker.

For now, she wanted a bite to eat. As she thought of all the different kinds of cake she could try, her stomach started to grumble.

"Let's hurry!" Ashley said as she ran towards the city, a slight blush from embarassment on her face.

Sylveon laughed at the quick and adorable action of her trainer.

Meanwhile, Shaymin was walking too as punishment for his action of the previous night.

You know what they say, you reap what you sow. This was a perfect example.

Shaymin looked depressed at his running trainer, finding it hard to keep up with her.

It seems she was right, if only just a little. He'd become lazy and as result slower and lower on endurance.

He really needed to train again if he wanted to be able to be with her.

Luckily the whole point of having a trainer was about becoming friends and getting stronger.

Shaymin sighed as he was determined to keep up with his slightly naïve and embarassed trainer.

Once in Jubilife City, Ashley immediatley searched for a decent looking café that would also serve food for her Pokémon.

After all, eating food with your Pokémon was a lot more enjoyable than eating alone.

Passing by many shops of different kinds, clothing, Pokéballs, Elektronics, she finally arrived near a dessert shop that served food for both people and Pokémon.

She was almost drooling when she saw the many kinds of pie and pastries in the shop window.

"Come on, let's go inside!" Ashley said, eager to take a bite of a delicious looking sweet strawberry pie.

Once inside, Ashley immediately ordered a few pastries, sharing them with all her Pokémon.

Luckily they had pastries in many flavours, so all her Pokémon had one in the flavour they liked.

As soon as she took a bite, the flavour spread in her mouth, a delicious sweetness af the creme and the strawberries.

A delighted smile appeared on her face as she took bite after bite of the delicious pie.

Her Pokémon seemed to like it as well as they almost seemed to swallow their own tongue. That's how fast and greedily they were eating.

"Slow down! It isn't going anywhere."

Ashley giggled, while her Pokémon looked at her in disbelief.

Who was almost inhaling her pie the moment before them?

Pot meets kettle.

Ashley avoided the accusing look of her Pomémon as she looked outside the shop, slowly sipping her tea.

It was a delight as she was Pokémon watching till her hearts content.

She could see Pokémon who'd been taken good care of and Pokémon who's care could've been better.

Sometimes she could even see Pokémon who's colour was differently than normal.

As she enjoyed her time, she suddenly saw an acquiantance.

Walking there down the road she saw a blue-haired girl with a white hat.

She was walking with two other people, two men, of which one had a Pikachu on his shoulder.

They were happily talking while pointing at the device on their wrist.

Not being optimistic, Ashley wouldn't think of it as a genuin article. It was most likely to be a fake.

focussing her attention back on her pie, she heartily kept eating with a blissful smile on her face.

Ashley's day ended with a small shopping spree in Pokémon items and possible evolution stones sold at a stone emporium for a decent price.

If she would one day get a Pokémon that would need one, it was handy to have one on hand. Unfortunately only the most common ones could be sold there, being the fire, thunder, water and leaf stone. The others had to be bought through other ways like auctions or through conection Professor Rowan might have.

As she arrived at the Pokémon centre where she would spend the night, she quickly finished dinner, planning to spoil her Pokémon with a late brushing sesion.

They each lay around her, while Chimchar quickly claimed the most coveted spot on her lap. Ashley chuckled as she gently began to comb through his soft fur.

It had to be said that her selfmade Pokémon food did wonders to the quality of their fur and the growth of their body. Each of her Pokémon was slightly larger than normal, while their fur shimmered in the light of the lighting.

As Ashley brushed through each of her Pokémons fur, they all fell in a slight daze as the brush continued to comb through their fur. Chimchar even fell asleep in her lap, a loose smile on his face as he began to snore soft.

Content with the amount of brushing, Ashley and her Pokémon prepared for bed as they looked forward to the next day. Ashley had heard that there would be a Pokémon Contest. She really wanted to try it out and see if it was something she and her Pokémon would like to do.

They'd already thought of and tried a few combinations, but she and her Pokémon weren't sure if they'd like it or not. She'd find out tomorrow when she entered the contest.

For now she and her Pokémon were cuddling each other as they fell into a pleasant sleep.
