Dangerous Heat

The next day, the team set off with their captive. They decided to report it to the base but since they wandered too deep into the forest, they lost communication services.

They walked for miles again and towards the end of the day, they got a service. They informed the base of their location and immediately helicoptors were dispatched to fetch them.

The man who was captured had lots of marks on him. He was wounded deeply by a bear as the claw marks were very much visible. He was in a critical condition. One of the girls, Shelly, who was in charge of the first aids was put in a difficult situation since the man was nearing his death. At first, he didnt say anything but after they got on the heli, his chest started bleeding and when they were about to treat it, they saw they that the wound was in a rather critical part of the body.

Shelly was sustaining him. Ansem was ordering to go faster. The atmosphere was tense as they couldn't let this person die. He was a scientist who was captured while he was testing a bionuclear weapon. When interrogated, he didn't reveal anything. The higher ups thought there must be someone backing him up. As for that reason, they found it out after the vehicle he was transported in was blasted by anonymous group who was waiting at their path to ambush it.

After the heli landed, the man was rushed to the ICU. All the team members were told to rest for now. Ansem was called out by his superiors.

They were discussing the aftermath of the situation. Somehow, they felt that there must be a mole in the department since no one knew of the route that the transport team was taking. So to be more discreet, they had called only 2 or 3 officers to discuss the action plan. They had to lay low for now and see the condition of that man.

While they were in deep discussion, on the other side somehow Amber's heat came unexpectedly like the last time. It had been 3 years now....

She was in her quarters which she shared with Ansem. She didn't know it at first and turned on the AC. She thought she was just exhausted and felt hot because of the weather. After some time, she knew it but it was too late as her pheromones had spread like wildfire. There were only 2 Omegas here in the base. The other was Ria. Since the Alphas were sensitive, they almost went into rut when somehow, it dissipated a little. They knew whose it was and they were enduring real hard!! Hats off. This type was common as it was not the first time pheromones broke loose in their base. They knew very well that they needed to stay indoors just in case. No one was agitated. They had long since accepted it as this was no longer the world where Omegas were regarded as sluts.

Somehow, as a mate, Ansem could sense something was wrong with Amber. It was just in time the meeting ended and he rushed off.

He knocked hard on Amber's door and somehow it was already opened.

He went in and somehow he could not peel his eyes off of her. No matter how many times he has seen her, it was never enough. Each time it would put him in a daze. Amber lay panting with cheeks crimson red down to her collarbones. As she was stripped off, Ansem could see her whole body going red. It was the same for Amber as it was for Ansem. No matter how many times they were together, she would always go red.

That was that, they came out the next morning. When they went for their lunch, their teammates eyes were locked on to them carrying hint of mischievousness. Amber buried her head into Ansem's chest and murmured,"Next time i shall be very careful and carry my pills around everywhere."

As Ansem was the only one who could hear it, he smiled brightly ,"Okay guys eat your lunch. Sorry for the disturbances we caused."

Everyone laughed cheerfully. There were others present but thwy were not affected as their quarters was much far off. Huff...

As the both of them sat down Ansem whispered into Amber's ears," You dont need to be so careful, i would like to taste you more often" There was desire, mischievousness hidden in his voice.

Hearing that, Amber went cheery tomato red.

What taste?! This heat is dangerous!!!

Ansem had changed a lot since they first met. In Amber's vision, he was brave, dutiful,loyal, strict and everything except that, in private, he became more like a shameless wolf in front of her!
