Chapter 20: Introductions

They all left the kitchen and made their way towards the room where Jake had become a master, as they were making their way down the staircase Taka came up next to Jake.

Taka: So you nervous?

Jake: Nervous? What's there to be nervous about?

Taka: You're a master now, that's a huge responsibility

Jake looked confused as Taka carried on ahead of Jake making his way down the staircase, once they had all reached the bottom they all took their seats, Jake saw the wooden chair on the middle of the room again so he made his way over to it.

Gabrielle: Jake please take a seat there

Jake: Okay

Gabrielle: Jake Kynnersly, as you know now, you are the new master, with this title comes with a great task

Jake looked excited to know what he will be doing

Gabrielle: It is now your job to teach the next recruit to then become a master

Jake: Wait what, how can I teach someone something I have nor mastered myself

Gabrielle: Don't worry, it does not mean you will be teaching someone right way, you see the Holy Grail is what makes us choose the next person to be trained

Jake: How exactly does it choose?

Gabrielle: you see, when the Grail is empty like it is now, we must turn everyone away who comes here, but once it is full we accept the next person who knocks the door

Jake: So how long was it full before I knocked on the door?

Gabrielle: the Grail is pretty accurate, it filled up minutes before you arrived

Jake: Amazing

Gabrielle: Anyway, in the meantime, you will have to train yourself to control your powers until the Grail has filled up

Jake nodded in approval

Jake: So do I now get a seat up there, or is this my seat

They all laughed at Jake, who was looking serious when he said it

Gabrielle: First you must be fully introduced to everyone

Jake realising he still did not know what most of their names were

Gabrielle: Okay easiest way to do this, starting from youngest to oldest, say your name, age, and power

She then sat down and looked towards Taka, who then stood up.

Taka: Right, well you already know me, Takayuki Uchida, I'm about 120ish now, and as you know I have the power of fire, which is said to be quite common

Taka then sat down, Jake looked shocked by his age but then realised everyone here mist be hundreds of years old.

A tall skinny man who looked like he was in his 60s with short white hair stood up.

Lester: Hello, nice to meet you, my name is Lester Foskett, my power is air, and I've been here over 200 years, making me about 230 now.

Before he sat down the woman who was a very mature looking woman, who looked no older than 50 with short black hair stood up.

Holly: Hello, my name is Holly Fenron, I am a light user just like Gabrielle, I am also well over 500 years old now, you kind of lose track after a while

As she sat down the man next to her spoke up without standing up, the man looked like he was in his 30s maybe early 40s, and looked like your typical low life dad short black hair he was tall and had a slight bulk to him.

Allan: The names Allan Forester, I have the power of Ice, I'm also 678 years old

He hadn't even opened his eyes to look at Jake whilst introducing himself, the next person stood up, he was a small chunky old Chinese man who was bold and had some facial hair.

Takeshi: My name is Takeshi Sato, my power is the ability to control the earth, it is extremely rare as it does not show a visible aura, and my age is way over 800 now.

He then bowed and sat back down, a short blonde-haired woman who looked to be in her 30's to 40's stood up.

Julia: Hello there, I'm Julia Semmence, I also have the power of the air, and I've started the same time as Takeshi, making us the same age

Standing up was an older black man who looked to be in his 50s.

James: Hello, names James Gomez, I have one of the rarest powers of lightning, only 3 people have achieved this power, I'm over 900 years old

Jake looked impressed and wanted to know more about his rare power,

Gabrielle: Didn't realise how long this was going to take, I guess we can scrap the age, just give your name and power please, I doubt the rest of you remember your age anyway, you've been here well over 1000 years

A man who looked slightly annoyed stood up he was a short guy with brown longish hair with a scruffy beard

Julius: Well yes, my name is Julius Leaton, I also have the power of fire

Next to him was a very old woman who looked like a sweet old grandma she had short white hair and was very small.

Stephanie: Hello dear, my name is Stephanie Gamble, I have the power of water

An old Mexican man who had short brown hair and a little moustache stood up next.

Herrera: Herrera Joeanus, I also have the power of fire and was third to be recruited

Everyone sighed in relief as they came to the last two masters, with that a heavily build man stood up he had long grey hair that was in a ponytail.

Eucliffe: Hello my name is Eucliffe Hayward, I possess a rare power of darkness, and I am second in command here

Gabrielle: Yes and finally we have me, Gabrielle Vanderburgh, as you know I have the light element and I am the first master

Gabrielle was a tall woman with long black hair who looked no older than 40.

Gabrielle: Right Jake, with that finally over you may take a seat next to Taka

Jake stood up from the wooden chair and made his way over to his seat, sitting down next to Taka, he turned to him

Jake: So now what?

Before Taka could answer him Gabrielle stood up

Gabrielle: Right now that that's all done and dusted we can all go back to normal, Taka, Jake and Eucliffe if you would stay here

Everyone else then stood up and made their way out of the room leaving them in the room.
