Adam:

"Adam this is definitely a bad idea." Martin kept blabbering as he paces back and forth behind me, holding his mobile phone in his face.

I didn't answer. I just stand there in front of the glass window of the building across the hospital. It's the perfect place to be right now, I can see Daisy standing on the balcony of my hospital room. They already know now that I was gone. I don't want to leave her like this, she deserved an explanation but I have to be focused on my task at hand and decided to just explain it to her later on. I touched the glass, hoping I can touch her face.

"Wait for me, baby," I murmured to myself and I closed the blinds.

I know that bullet wasn't meant for me. It was meant for Daisy. And I was glad the shooter was stupid enough to hit me instead of her. But Daisy doesn't need to know that.
