An Act Of Evil

Dickson stayed with Tasha until it was 9pm. She slowly opened her eyes and saw him still beside her with his head on the bed.

"Dickson...?" she mumbled as she reached for his hand, gently tapping him.

"Oh, you're awake." he muttered as he took her hand into his.

"yeah..." she faintly replied.

"Are you hungry? Or do you want me to get you something?" he queried.

"No Dickson, don't worry about me. I'm totally fine. How is our baby doing?"

"Well..... he is right here, doing totally fine." he mumbled as he slowly walked over to the baby's cot.

"Just like his mum." he added with a smile as he swiftly stared down on the baby and back to his wife.

"And what about you dear?"

"Um....I'm still here, beside my sweet and lovely wife." he uttered, moving to his wife's bed.

"No Dickson, I mean....., what have you taken in?"

"Don't worry about me dear, I...."

"No Dickson." uttered Tasha, cutting in.

"You have to go get something and eat. Moreover, the baby and I are totally fine. Um..?"

"But...."

"Uh..Uh.." she mumbled, shaking her head.

"No buts..., you need to take care of yourself too dear." she added.

"O..kay...." he uttered in surrender.

"Then..., I'll be back soon. Are you sure you're going to be okay..?"

"Yes dear." she muttered, nodding.

"Sure..?"

"Hey....Dickson, just go." she mumbled with a smile.

"I'm going to be fine. Just go already." she added.

"Okay, Okay, I'm going." he muttered as he kissed his wife on the cheeks.

"Hmm..." she nodded with a smile as she watched him glided over to the door.

He slowly pushed the door half opened and swiftly turned back his gaze to his wife.

"Go....." she whispered, gesturing him.

"Stop overreacting...." she added.

"Okay...." he mumbled as he dashed out, slowly closing the door.

Tasha looked on as he closed the door and chuckled, slowly shaking her head.

Nichole was sitting in a cab outside the hospital with her eyes locked at the entrance, expectantly.

"Gosh....,it's been hours. When is he damn coming out? Will he stay by her all day?" she mumbled anxiously.

She was still gazing at the entrance when suddenly, she saw a familiar figure walking out of the hospital.

"He's finally out." she whispered, reaching out for her phone.

"This is our chance." she added as she dialled Zed's number. She waited anxiously as the line connects. With the second tone, he answered.

"He's out, this is our chance now. Get it done quick. No mistakes." she uttered.

"Okay.." he replied and hanged up.

"Too bad for you Tasha. Dickson is all mine now." she mumbled with a smirk.

************

It was around 11pm now and Dickson was not yet back. Tasha sat on her bed with a book in hand reading as she took quick glances at the door expectantly.

"Why is he still not yet back?" she queried anxiously.

She went back to reading her book when she suddenly saw a shadow passed by her door. She jolted up, alarmed.

"Who is there?" she queried.

"Dickson..., is that you?" she inquired as she slowly got off the bed.

She slowly moved to the door frightened and gently pulled it half opened, stretching out her neck to peck through. She glance at the whole corridor but saw nobody around.

"I thought I saw somebody around." she mumbled, puzzled as she slowly closed the door.

She strolled back to her bed still confused.

"I'm I seeing things or it was just my imaginations." she murmured as she sat back on her bed.

She was still contemplating when she saw the shadow at the door again. Her eyes flew wide opened as she noticed the knob of the door slowly turned.

"Who is there...?" she questioned but there was silence.

Her heart thumps faster as she gazed at the door, horrified, waiting anxiously for who ever it was.

"Who could it be?" she mumbled as she waits impatiently.

"What should I do?" she added tensed.
