Hogwarts Express in... MOTION!!!

Although Alene could not predict the future like a seer, she knew that these four boys would become best friends. How did she know, she just listened to five minutes of James and Sirius arguing about quidditch, Peter looking confused at what quidditch was and Remus just interjecting at points giving small facts about quidditch.

Peter eventually got the courage to ask them what they were talking about leading both Sirius and James to scream out loud "QUIDDITCH THE BEST SPORT EVER!" after this, they went on about explaining all the rules, the teams and different positions.

During this time Remus just seemed to smile. I felt the train slowly move and heard a knock on the door of the cabin. Everyone seemed to shut up and look at the newcomers. First came in a pretty girl with bright green eyes and long red locks. After she came a young boy followed. He looked slightly malnourished and had very pale skin, Black hair, eyes and a straight and proud nose. They were both already wearing the school's uniform.

The pretty girl quickly introduced herself. "Hello sorry for bothering you, I am Lily Evans and I wanted to ask if my friend Severus and I could join your cabin. You see everywhere else is full" She said quite quickly.

Before any of the boys could say anything Alene replied with a slight smile "there is one more sitting space but I am sure we can fit you both in." With that being said they ended up having Severus take the free seat next to Alene while Lily sat on Alene's lap. Oppi was placed back in his cage not that he minded.

Lily constantly tried to persuade Alene into letting her sit on the floor, but Alene was even more stubborn than Lily. Eventually, most people in the cabin started getting hungry this included Alene so she decided to share her specially made treats.

During the summer when she first received her Hogwarts letter she was determined to create her sweets for different reasons. The first reason was to bribe James into doing things for. She even made a pancake flavour just for him! The second reason was that she could share them with her newly made friends or if she couldn't make any enjoy them herself.

Giving out different candies to everyone and the broccoli one to Sirius. Everyone put it in their mouths at the same time but Sirius immediately spit his out and it hit James square in the face. Everyone seemed to laugh and James immediately threw the sweet back at Sirius.

After some time the conversation of the sorting took place. Lily was the one to ask what the whole sorting thing was about since she did not see anything about in the Hogwarts history books.

Alene immediately replied "Well they won't tell you how you get sorted, I tried asking my father and mother once but they said that it was a surprise. Anyways what houses do you guys think you'll be in?"

James nearly jumped up and said, "Of course we'll be Gryfinndor, Alene!" Before Alene could get a word out Sirius interrupted "Well you are not the only one I'll also be a Gryffindor, there is no way I would become an evil Slytherin"

Severus seemed not too pleased with the accusation. "Well at least are Slytherins not brain dead" he countered.

Sirius was fuming with anger and James just looked offended. "Gryffindors not like that at all we are brave, something Slytherins can't say since they are all cowards!" James said.

"I bet you are an evil Slytherin, you are probably a death eater!" Sirius added greatly insulted.

At this point, Alene got very mad that James was acting like this since their great aunt Dorea was a Slytherin. She stood up, pushed Lily aside and levitated her and Severus's trunks put them by the door and immediately gave James an earful.

"Well if you think Slytherin is that bad and are all so evil you probably think auntie Dorea is an evil death eater as well-"

"You know it is not the same Alene-" James tried to cut her off but Alene was already fuming with anger.

"I WOULD RATHER BE A SLYTHERIN THAN BE A GRYFFINDOR WITH YOU!" with that she pulled Severus up and walked out of the compartment pulling him behind her. Although he tried to protest many times she ignored it and went to find another empty cabin.

Alene regretted taking Lily with her. The poor muggle-born probably did not even understand half of their conversation.

It seemed Lily lied about all the compartments being full because Alene found an empty one at the end of the train. She settled their stuff and then sat down with a sigh. Severus wanted to say something but Alene interrupted him "I apologise for dragging you away! I should not have done that without your opinion." The boy seemed taken aback.

He replied grumpily "It's fine, but Lily is now all alone. I think I should go get-" He was interrupted with the compartment door slamming open and a panting Lily with her trunk in her hands. "Hi, again I thought I would join you guys rather than those bumbling idiots"

Alene laughed and helped her with putting her trunk away. Lily sat down next to Severus who seemed to be in a sort of half shock, half not surprised look. "Sorry for leaving you, I totally forgot because I was angry" Lily seemed to not mind and told her it was fine.

Alene then explained to lily about death eaters and pureblood supremacy. By the time she finished explaining the trolley witch can with different kinds of sweets.

Both Severus and Lily looked confused at the options when the trolley lady explained about the candies. Alene decided to give a little advice about which ones to pick "I would try cauldron cakes, and chocolate frogs, you could try Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans but when they mean every flavour it is textually every flavour. "

While Severus and Lily were still deciding Alene decided to purchase some cadies "Excuse me, Ma'am may I have 1 Cauldron cake, 1 chocolate frog, 2 liquorice wands and a Pumpkin juice."

The trolley lady gave her, her sweets "Here you go, sweetie, that will be 1 Galleon 11 Sickles 8 Knuts." Alene gave her the money and watched Lily buy a Cauldron cake and a Liquorice wand, and Severus bought nothing.

Lily broke her Cauldron in half and shared her with Severus and Alene gave him a Liquorice wand which he tried to refuse until her saw the stubborn look on her face.

After going through half of her food Alene noticed that both Severus and Lily were dressed in their uniforms. Looking at her own regular clothes she decided she needed to change after quickly telling Lily and Severus she left to the bathrooms to change.

When walking to the bathroom she saw James going through different compartments with Remus. Alene knew that he must be looking for her but she was still mad, she quickly hid in the girl's bathroom and changed her clothes to the school's uniform.

When she finished changing she heard footsteps right outside the door. "Remus are you sure you saw her here?" James said in a concerned voice. "I thought I did, but I guess I did not see it correctly..." he said adding a pause to the end.

"Aghhhh!! I need to find Alene and apologise. She is going to hate me forever and actually become a Slytherin if I don't" James seemed to become more and more nervous.

Alene knew that she went overboard but she could not help it, she fiercely protected what she believed was right and James crossed a line within her beliefs. She unlocked that bathroom door and stood in front of James and Remus.

"Alie, I am sorry please don't go the Slytherin!-" James started ranting about how he was sorry but Alene stopped listening after the first sentence. He called her by her nickname which made her feel irked. They had promised each other not to call each other by our nicknames when we were at Hogwarts.

signing she didn't comment on it and responded "You don't have to apologise, we will talk about this later," every time Alene said we will talk about it later it meant that it would never be discussed again unless they were having an argument.

James knew this very well but was just happy that she forgave him. Once he had stolen one of her toys and she would not speak to him even after he apologized a 100 times. In the end, their mom forced them to make-up and such fight never accused but James will never forget how it felt being ignored by his twin.

James tried convincing Alene of joining him in his compartment but she refused. In the end, they went separate ways but as the Hogwarts Express came to stop they would go back to normal.
