Beacon 2

It took us roughly one hour, but we discovered where we were supposed to be.

The auditorium.

As soon as we entered the Beacon Academy's giant auditorium, we were greeted by the loud sound of people talking and chatting; Ruby looks around trying to find Yang over.

Yang stands up, waving, "Ruby! Dante! Over here! I saved you two a spot!"

"There is your sister," I smiled.

Ruby nodded as she turned to Jaune, "Oh! Hey, We gotta go! We'll see you after the ceremony!" With that, she ran towards her sister.

"See ya around Jaune," I smiled, leaving him alone.

Jaune sighed. Hey, wait!... Ah, great. Where am I supposed to find another two friendly pair, to talk to?!"

"We are in a school, get creative!" I shouted as I took my seat close to Yang.

Yang smiled, "How's your first day going, little sister?"

Ruby narrowed her eyes at her, "You mean since you ditched us, not thanks to you! Dante was kind enough to stick around."

Yang started to apologize, "You're right... sorry sis.."

Ruby chuckled, "It's all right, this big guy over here made me have a great time,"

Yang smiled seductively, "Maybe I'll hang out with him next time."

"Any time," I winked at her.

Ruby ignored us, "Uhhh and someone crushed on Dante, she was mean until he smiled at her!" she giggled at the end.

"Look at you, stealing hearts so early," Yang smirked at me.

"Is both a blessing and a curse," I fainted pain.

As Yang is about to tease me, I see Weiss approaching.

"Hi... I wanted to a-apologize for my behavior earlier," Weiss smiled, fixing her shyly.

Ruby started to giggle, "Oh, God, it's happening again!"

Weiss turned to see her, "The nerve of... Huh!"

Yang deadpanned, "Oh my God, I thought Ruby was joking hahaha,"

Ruby giggled, "I told you so!"

"I didn't come here to talk to you two," Weiss huffed.

"So you came for me, well colored me impressed princess," I smiled.

"You seem like a capable individual, so I thought we could study together..." Weiss said, keeping her smug attitude but at the same time being shy.

"I would love too," I smiled as I offered her a seat right beside me.

"If you insist," Weiss nodded, accepting the seat.

As I chuckled, I didn't insist at all; I offered just once.

Before Yang and Ruby get the chance to tease her, our attention is drawn to the stage, where Professor Ozpin is readying the microphone, with Glynda beside him.

Ozpin smiled, taking a deep breath, "I'll... keep this brief. You have traveled here today in search of knowledge, to hone your craft and acquire new skills, and when you have finished, you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people. But I look amongst you, and all I see is wasted energy, in need of purpose, direction. You assume knowledge will free you of this, but your time at this school will prove that knowledge can only carry you so far. It is up to you to take the first step." With that said, he waves and leaves the stage leaving Glynda behind.

Glynda approached the microphone as Ozpin leaves, "You will gather in the ballroom tonight; tomorrow, your initiation begins. Be ready. You are dismissed."

Yang said, "He seemed kind of... off."

"He has the eyes of someone that has fought a lot..." I added with excitement, Ozpin was one of the people I wanted to fight.

Ruby nodded, "It's almost like he wasn't even there."

Jaune approaching Weiss, "Hey... how you doing, princess?"

Weiss puts her hand to her face in disgust, "As if..."

"...So how many glasses does your mom use again?" I teased him.

"...." Jaune left with his head low, after being rejected before he even had a chance.

My first night at Beacon, and I'm on the floor with a sleeping bag that was provided to me by Ozpin.

I usually sleep naked, but for the sake of decency, I decided to wear some pants, I was still shirtless though.

Ruby, in her pajamas and with a sleeping mask around her head, she's writing in a journal while Yang stares at my defined chest and abs for a bit, I notice that she's wearing something similar to what Ruby has but on yellow.

Yang smiled, winking at me, "It's like a big slumber party!"

"I suppose it is," I wink back.

Ruby chuckled, not looking up, "I don't think Dad would approve of all the boys, though, especially when one doesn't use a shirt."

"Believe this is me compromising," I chucked.

Yang purred seductively, looking at me once again, "I know I do, good thing dad is not here.."

"So, what are you writing, Ruby?" I inquired with curiosity.

Ruby looked at me and smiled, "A letter to the gang back at Signal. I promised to tell them all about Beacon and how things are going."

"When though... I never saw you text or call," I chuckled.

"Oh, professor Ozpin helped me with that!" Ruby giggled.

Yang smiled, "Aw, that's so cuuuute!"

Ruby immediately snaps, throwing her pillow at Yang, "Shut up! I didn't get to take my friends with me to school! It's weird not knowing anyone here!"

Yang chuckled, "What about the blond boy? He's... nice! There you go! Plus, one friend! That's a hundred percent increase!

Ruby turning on her back, "I suppose, and I did meet Dante.. so that a two hundred percent increase.."

"I find highly insulting that you aren't a bit happier with my friendship, I'm the type of friend that buys food," I wiped a fake tear off my eye.

"You know I love you," Ruby chuckled.

Yang laughed, "And don't forget you have me, that makes three friends, don't worry, sis, you will be drowning in friends in no time, give it some time, is only day one after all!"

As we continued talking about the subject, I notice a candle being lit nearby, and once again, the cat-girl Blake Belladonna is seen leaning against a wall, reading her book.

"I'll be right back," I wanted to chat with her a bit before the sisters did.

"Hey," I smiled.

"Hey..." Blake replied, not even looking up.

"I just came here to ask you a favor..." I chuckled.

Blake looks up, annoyed at me, but asks nonetheless, "What?"

"The girl that was with me earlier, she's too good for her own good, when she comes to talk to you, try to be nice, she's struggling to adapt and believe when I say she's worth it," I smiled.

"Whatever," Blake returned to her book.

"Not all humans are scum; some might even be worth your time," I smiled as I left.

Blake had a perplexed look on her face, asking herself if I knew about her being a Faunus or what.

Well, with my eyes seeing through everything, she can't hide that from me.

As I walked around, seeing all the potential punching bags that I might have in my foreseeable future her, I'm stopped by the one girl I was intrigued to see how strong she was.

"Hi, my name is Pyrrha," Pyrrha smiled, offering me a hand.

"Dante," I smiled, taking her hand and shaking it off.

"You're sizing the people... right?" Pyrrha inquired.

I hummed deep in thought, I'm surprised she managed to catch that, I suppose the title of a prodigy was well earned, "I am, I can't wait to fight some here... especially you..." I added with a faint smile.

Pyrrha chuckled, "I'll be ready!"

"Besides you, I can only see two or three promising individuals," I informed her.

"And how good you think you'll fare against them and me?" Pyrrha asked.

"I'll win, there is no doubt of that... but the question is, which one of you will dance the longest," I smirked at her.

"I see," Pyrrha nodded, taking the fact that I told her that I would beat her easily without any problems.

"See you around," I waved as I returned to the girls just in time to admire the scene.

Weiss storms to our camping site angry, "What in the world is going on over here?! Don't you realize some of us are trying to sleep?!"

"Where are the popcorn machines when you need them," I muttered

"Here you go..." Nora whispered, giving some popcorn.

I turn around to find her sitting beside me, "Thanks..."

Yang growls, "Oh, not you again! All you do is complain!"

Ruby tries to defuse the situation, "Shh! Guys, she's right! People are trying to sleep!"

But Yang and Weiss ignored her.

"Oh, this is getting gooood," Nora smiled, taking some hotdogs out of nowhere and some shirts saying, Yang VS Weiss.

"You are oddly prepared for this..." I chuckled, "Give me a Yang shirt, I'm rooting for her, scratch that... give me a Styrofoam finger..."

"Styrofoam finger coming right up!" Nora chuckled like a mad man.

"How... this argument just started..." Blake comments, getting a Yang shirt.

"I don't know... but hey, it's free..." I chuckled, taking my finger to support Yang.
