When age rules the country, it’s hard to be young.

Trey runs away from the youth reserve, sure he’s no more than spare parts for a father he barely remembers. The Council of Elders has its own questions about the him. When Trey find the Underground and joins the fight to give rights back to the Youngers, he starts a chain of events beyond anyone’s control.

Generation Gap

Joe walked into his office that morning to find Devon waiting for him.


"There were some very interesting things going on last night."


"Trey was apprehended by the local police yesterday while out wandering down by the river. They brought him to a local station and processed him. Methuselah Grant showed up and questioned him rather severely since it appears they had to change cells to clean up. Their records clerk is very particular. Shortly after they had moved the young man, a gang of thugs broke in through the wall with explosives and carried him away. One shot was fired, by the police, but no one appears to have been hit. A great deal of various smoke and gas bombs was used. By the time the air cleared the gang had vanished into the tunnels. The heavy rains flooded the tunnels and made a search impossible. The locals are searching now with dogbots and scanners, but have turned up nothing."
