Trey runs away from the youth reserve, sure he’s no more than spare parts for a father he barely remembers. The Council of Elders has its own questions about the him. When Trey find the Underground and joins the fight to give rights back to the Youngers, he starts a chain of events beyond anyone’s control.

Generation Gap

Red didn't know what to do with herself. She desperately wanted to spend time with Trey. Banter with Trey had become how she de-stressed when the world became too real. She reviewed how he had been careful to ask Lizzy's permission while questioning her, and he did it without knowing anything about Lizzy. He was sensitive and caring, so much more than just a brain. Life after the revolution felt possible because of him.


Her body wanted to lose itself in his arms. But she couldn't. She had responsibilities. People depended on her. A few minutes of carelessness had caused her father to break up her team. Since he'd seen her and Trey together, Jimmy had turned into a different person - one minute being the young scamp she had rescued, the next minute giving her the creeps.
