When age rules the country, it’s hard to be young.

Trey runs away from the youth reserve, sure he’s no more than spare parts for a father he barely remembers. The Council of Elders has its own questions about the him. When Trey find the Underground and joins the fight to give rights back to the Youngers, he starts a chain of events beyond anyone’s control.

Generation Gap

They talked until Red found herself yawning. She wandered back to her room, checking on Trey's room one more time. He was still not there, not at the briefing room either, but Annie was.


"Hey, Red, could you run a quick search? Trey wanted to know how many dogbots were in the area, and how effective they might be in assisting an attack. He also wanted to know how many people had access to living quarters outside of the Underground. Last thing he wanted was the retirement rates for the local police forces. I know it's one ugly group of searches, but that's Trey for you."


Red nodded and sat down at the computer. She signed on with a back door, which had been leaked to the Underground, and started looking at dogbot activity. What she found froze her with fingers over the keyboard.
