This was so unlike Cemel, she had never witnessed such a rude outburst like this. It was she that should be angry due to his tardiness. “Cemel—how dare! Wha—what do you mean?”

His face was streaked with rage. He looked like he was about to either strike her or suffer a stroke. Cemel stopped and forcibly calmed his voice, “Just—please your highness, stand up and come with me now, you are in extreme danger.”

Leah, unsure what to do slowly went to stand up, but Kalvich gently placed his hand on her arm.

“I never thought—he would, I—I should have prepared you—” Cemel stated to himself defeatedly and realized whatever he said would sound nonsensical to Leah in her state.
