When a colony ship is attacked by an unknown force and sent crashing into a settlement that has suffered the same fate, eight teenagers, the only ones left behind, have to work together to resurrect an ancient ark ship so they can pursue the aliens who kidnapped their parents.

Horizon

Minnesota let out a whoop and spun on Sammel.


"Can you believe that?" She bounced over to him, elated and yet shocked they were alive.


Her whole body vibrated with the intensity of her joy.


Sammel ignored her. He stared off into space, in his own little world. Come to think of it, he'd been out of it since the damned bomb activated. Minnesota stepped in front of him and snapped her fingers in his face.


Instead of answering, he twitched violently then spun and ran out of the engine room.


Startled by his odd behavior, Minnesota chased after him.


She didn't know he could run so fast. Even with her enhanced speed and strength being in lower ship gravity she could barely keep up with him. She lost him around a corner on the way to the bridge and charged after him, calling his name. She almost missed the open compartment door and had to pull herself up fast to check inside.
