Chapter 101: Aftermath

Roy and Katreena did not return to the room with the landstone as they expected. Instead, they found themselves in the center of a room with a marble floor and walls that the eye could not focus on. Surrounding them were seventeen throne-like chairs in a complete circle. 16 were occupied by women; all dressed in formal royal dresses, the other one was vacant. The largest throne was filled by the woman Roy had seen in the vision a few days before, whom he had concluded was the Queen who had written all the prophecies the Royals relied on. To her right were women they did not recognize, but who were wearing dresses common from the past. To her left were Katreena's mother and two young adult women with brilliant blue eyes like their twin daughters. The chair between them was vacant.

Pain washed over both Roy and Katreena forcing them to their knees.

"No! This is not right!" Princess Sara cried out.

"Quiet," her sister Princess Philissa said. "We must let this play out."
