Revelations

Mijail felt that everything he knew was falling apart. That his whole life was a lie.

He was adopted!

Hacket, Heller, and Frieda looked at Mijail worriedly. They couldn't understand what was feeling at the moment Mijail. Frieda got closer and hugged him.

"No matter what does papers said, you are my brother," she muttered and let out a silent cry.

Mijail was still shocked, but after some minutes he began to connect dots. Firstly, his eyes and hair were different from his family's. Only Frieda had light-brown hair, but her eyes were brown like Heller and Hackett. His mother had brown hair and brown eyes, while his father had black hair and brown eyes.

Mijail was surprised he didn't suspect anything because of that. He even thought that they called their family Mo just because it's easier than Mo-Uh. Now he was aware that his last name was actually Tellez.

These revelations were something unexpected and he needed some time to digest everything so he went to his room leaving his siblings behind.

After some hours, his mother looked for him and knocked on the door.

"Come in" Mijail voice was tired.

"Mijail, your father and me wanted to tell, but then you had the incident of bleeding and we couldn't tell you," Kate's voice was sad and regretful.

"I understand, but you knew that I have Bleeding Syndrome. Why did you conceal that?" Mijail understood that it wasn't easy to tell a child that he was adopted. He saw a TV series where a boy died because he got mad at his parents and was careless because of that anger.

"That was because you didn't show signs after some injuries you had. However, the doctor told us that maybe all the stressed that was in your body made you bleed in one go that day at the school," Kate's eyes were watering and her voice was breaking.

Mijail noticed her behavior and hugged her.

"I am not mad at you, I'm just shocked by the information. You will be my mother always, that's nothing will change," Mijail hugged his mother.

"That's good to hear, and also we have some news for you," Kate calmed herself and gave him a letter.

Mijail took the letter and hold it with his hands. There was something in the letter written that read: "Don't open until you know the truth". Mijail was stunned by the phrase and looked at his mother. Kate looked at him and smiled, "Read it".

The letter said:

"Mijail, if you are reading this, then you know the truth that you were adopted by Mark and Kate. They are my friends and they are also the ones who told me about your mother's death. I wanted to be with you the moment you opened your eyes, but I was far away and also was in a difficult position that put me without the chance of having a child. Your mother and I were in love, but she never told me that she was pregnant. Then, the problems with my family began and she disappeared, I suspected that her disappearance had something with my grandmother and mother. I tried to look for her to no avail until Mark called me and told the bad news of her death. However, I was abroad and couldn't take care of you, so I asked Mark and his wife to be in charge of you. I told them to tried to do everything they could to give you a good life. I gave them the money for your studies and also for everything you needed. I would like to see you, and also I invite you to come with me to Derlang where you can continue your studies.

I'll wait for your answer,

Your father, Lev Mo-Uh.

P.S.: Happy 21st Birthday! (Just in case you read the letter today) "

Mijail read again the whole letter, he thought that he was a forgotten child the moment he knew he was adopted, but now he knew that his biological father was always looking for his biological mother.

"This..." Mijail looked at his mother.

"Everything is true, all the expenses about you were paid by Lev. He couldn't take care of a 7 months child while he was reorganizing all his family affairs and business. He wanted that you could have a happy and normal childhood. If you still don't believe, let me tell you that Lev, your biological father, also suffers from Bleeding Syndrome, but he is on a lesser level. That illness is hereditary," Kate told Mijail the reason for his health conditions.

"I... I can't believe," Mijail was in a strange condition. He was happy, sad, thoughtful, confused, and angry. 'I'm like a woman!' He even thought.

"So, what's your decision? We received the letter last year on your birthday," his mother asked him. She would understand if Mijail wanted to go to meet his biological father.

"I don't want to leave you..." Mijail began to say, but his mother stopped him.

"Let me tell you something Mijail, Lev has been waiting for twenty years to meet you, he even came when we were celebrating your two years. We will accept your decision of going, and also I have a little secret about Lev and Mark," Kate smiled mischievously.

Mijail looked at his mother and was waiting for that secret.

"Hehe, they kissed once, and Linda and I caught them. Their faces were completely red. Of course, it was all an accident, I put my foot in Lev to make him fall, but I didn't expect that to happen," Kate was laughing.

Mijail was surprised that his parents knew his biological parents.

"Well, that's an old story, so I recommend you to go and live with your biological father for some time," another voice was heard in Mijail's room.

Mijail and his mother kept silent and an afraid face was plastered in theirs. The one who talked was Mark, his father.
