The End of Training

It had been two months since Circe had begun her training in Runes with Odin. The girl was currently weaving through the training grounds with the grace of a trained dancer. Every once in a while, a massive explosion would go off, making her change directions.

This was Odin, he was sending explosion runes at the girl, having her weave through them to train her agility and dexterity.

From the other side of the battlefield, Odin began to shout, "Circe, I want you to begin to fight back, throw runes at me. Then, we will see how good we can make you at battle runes!"

---Time Skip: 1 Month---

Odin and Circe were talking on their chairs in the training ground currently. Odin was saying that he had taught the young demigod everything he could in the art of runes and Mana control. So, he would be departing to make way for her next teacher.

Circe simply bowed her head before her favorite master. Of course, this was subject to change. After all, he only got the position because she wasn't constantly in pain with Odin's training

Then, they bid farewell and Odin began to depart back to New Asgard, his home in the mortal plane.

Once the king of a pantheon left, another man made his way inside the training ground.

Circe simply waited, like a stone statue as she had done before. Her next mentor had made her wait for 7 hours, simply sitting.

Then, a man with the head of a blue bird that Circe couldn't quite place.

The man sat down next to Circe, pulling out a few books and setting up a secondary table. "Hello Circe, I will be teaching you the art of Enchanting and Heiroglyphs. You will have one year to learn all that I can teach, then if you don't learn everything, you will simply have failed the training, and will not obtain anymore from me."

Circe gave a simple nod of acceptance. She felt as if she could accomplish this feat. After all, if she couldn't master a subject on magic in a single year, then she really shouldn't be aloud to be a daughter of Hecate.

---Time Skip: 2 Weeks---

Circe could be seen importing her magic into a simple dagger. She was currently doing what her mentor had told her to do when enchanting. The method was far more simple than she thought it could be. All she had to do was import her will of the effect onto the item and give it enough magic to activate and determine the power of the enchant.

Picking up the newly finished product, it began to burst into flames. This was the enchant the young demigod had put on the item. It simply had runes for flames and a few heiroglyphs for flames aswell.

In the time that she had been learning the art of enchanting, Circe had realized that if she were to mix Odin's runes and Heiroglyphs then she could create an extremely potent product.

---Time Skip: 1 Month---

Circe was currently taking a test on Heiroglyphs when a gorgeous woman walked into the training ground. She had wavy black hair, tanned skin, and oddly pink eyes.

The woman looked at me taking a test, and Thoth, who was currently reading a book. "Oh, it seems I came early. I'm sorry about that Thoth, and my apprentice."

Oddly enough, that was the first time that she had heard her mentors name. He would never allow conversations like the learning of the others name. Even though the god knew her name already.

Thoth looked up from his book. "It's fine Isis. I'm about done teaching this child anyways. She had already mastered my enchanting and this is her final test on Heiroglyphs. So, your welcome to stay until the end of the test."

Isis gave an appreciative smile and sat down on the other side of the table.

Then, Circe took a few more minutes to complete her test on Heiroglyphs. Thoth took the test and said that she had a 97% on the test, even though he never looked at the thing. Then, he departed without so much as a goodbye.

Circe knew who her least favorite mentor is.

Isis simply gave a sigh before speaking, "Oh Thoth, your thirst for knowledge makes it so you can't even say goodbye to your first student. What a pity." After those few words, Isis looked to Circe and made some introductions. "Hello young one, I am Isis. I'm here to teach you about elemental magic. We are going to start out with the four basic elements, fire, water, earth, and wind. Then, by the end of our training, we will move onto more complex elements such as space and time."

Isis said this entire introduction with a motherly smile on her face, instantly making her Circe's favorite teacher.

---Time Skip: 1 Month---

Circe was currently making small balls of the four basic elements surround her and spin. Isis said this would improve her control with the elements. Of course, Isis, being herself, was cheering the young demigod on every step of the way.

---Time Skip: 2 Months---

There was an icy mist surrounding the training ground. This of course, was Circe using her ice element to create the mist and move it around without any particles touching. This was extremely similar to her training in Mana control with Odin, so she could do it rather easily.

---Time Skip: 7 Months---

Isis had a massive smile on her face. Her student, a child she had taken to think of as her daughter over the past 10 months, was currently controlling the gravity in the training ground.

This ability was something many master mages could only dream of doing in their lifetimes, and her young student had done it easily. She couldn't be more proud of her young surrogate daughter.

---Time Skip: 14 Months---

Isis was watching as Circe teleported around the training grounds. She simply had a fond smile on her face this time. After all, she had grown accustomed to her students abilities as a mage.

"Circe, I think it's time to start your final part of my training. Time Control" Isis shouted to the teleporting demigod.

Circe simply teleported into a chair next to Isis and listened with all her attention focused on the goddess. After all, Circe had never felt more alive than when learning to control the most complex elements.

---Time Skip: 2 Years---

Circe was struggling. She had never had the most trouble learning the other elements of the highest tier, but time seemed to be a league above the rest. She had spent the last two years relentlessly learning how to control this element.

She had varied degrees of success, but it was mostly dwarfed by her failures. Something she hadn't thought possible when she was learning magic.

She continued her practice of the element, trying to do the most basic time control ability. Time Stop.

She continued practicing the best she could. Nothing seemed to work. She tried every possible way she could, until something in her broke.

Then, everything stilled around her, Isis, the air, insects, the rustling of the grass. Nothing moved. Except for Circe herself.

Then, Circe laughed. She Laughed. After two years she had finally done it. Taken the first step to controlling time.

---Time Skip: 4 Months---

Circe was currently saying goodbye to Isis. She had easily taken the prize of being her favorite mentor, and the demigod found it hard to say goodbye to her.

The goodbye was filled with more emotion than Circe had thought possible. There were tears and hugs and by the end, Circe was somewhat glad it was over.

As Isis walked out of the training ground, she gave Circe one last wave to which Circe returned.

Then, Ouranos, a man she hadn't seen since her training began 4 years ago, walking into the training ground.

"Circe, congratulations, you have completed your training in both Magic and the Sword. Come with me, I want to update your status and then you may go into the dungeon."

The nearly 14 year old girl gave the god a simple nod before following him into her own room. She took her shirt off and lied down on the bed on her stomache.

Ouranos preformed the ritual and read her status. Quickly putting it onto a piece of paper for the young girl to read

[Name: Circe

Reading her status, Circe smiled in happiness. She knew that she was ready to go into the dungeon today.
