Chapter 19 – Port Kiar, Five Missions

Aile was worried that she could detect his existence. Fortunately, she stopped her examination when she noticed the tattoo on Aile's chest.

She looked at the tattoo and then at Aile, "Poor Kid, you had to go through so much pain at such a young age!"

She then roughed up and massaged his head "Do not worry from now on, I will help you if possible."

After a while, she put him on the bed.

Here Aile saw a violet expensive looking bed. The bedding was made of silk and had a very smooth texture. The room here was decorated beautifully, it was enough to highlight the magnificence of Hazel.

Everywhere was brightly lit, and the colours were vivid and beautiful.

While Aile was resting and observing the surrounding, Hazel moved her hand and with a "swish" things that decorated the house moved and slowly disappeared one after the other.

She was undoubtedly using a storage treasure to pack things up in the house. Not long after, all that remained in this beautiful house was the bed that Aile slept on.

By now, she had worn a fine-robe covering her identity.

She picked Aile with her hand and held him. Soon he was once again hidden under a robe.

Aile heard another "swish," which he assumed came from the bed being stored.

His sight was blocked, and he could not use his soul sense, now that he started to fully integrate with the body.

He will use them after he successfully takes over the body.

Thus he was blind until he felt the same movement and heard the noise of huffs against the ground.

He knew that he was travelling by that horse-like creature again and heading to the Port Kiar that Hazel mentioned.

After a while, Hazel removed Aile from under the robe, and he could finally see.

Aile looked around, but there was nothing new, so he continued training with his senses.

Time passed, and Aile noticed that the further they travelled south, the more humidity there was.

What Aile had discovered was indeed true. The Illumination Kingdom is surrounded by the sacred mountain range on the North, East and West side. The South of the Illumination Kingdom is protected by the ocean. Now, the group was heading in the ocean's direction. Thus, the humidity increases in this direction.

The City of Ferli is in the southeastern region of the Kingdom.

Aile, Hazel and Hunter were now travelling to one of the most remote towns - Port Kiar. Port Kiar is at the edge of the Kingdom, on one side facing the sea and on the other side, the sacred mountain. Port Kiar is located in the extreme South-East of the Kingdom.

The capital is at the centre. Thus, Port Kiar can be considered the most remote place from it.

The journey was much smoother compared to the one with Duke White.

There were regular breaks, and Hazel had somehow already prepared some milk for Aile.

From the conversations between Hunter and Hazel, Aile had heard that is the milk of an animal called "Partzel."

Partzels are hawk-like animals. They have red fur and feed on spiritualizing fruits. Therefore, their milk is very energetic and nutritious for the kids.

He really enjoyed having it as it also helped him restore his mental energy. This was a perfect snack between his training sessions. Every time he was tired from controlling his senses, the milk re-energized him.

The trip would take 7 days and on the 5th day, Hazel seemed to become weaker.

She gave Aile to Hunter, as she no longer felt at ease carrying him.

After 2 more days, they finally reached into an old-looking town.

The town looked tiny, there were two guards outside its gates.

The walls around the town were not nearly as tall as the ones on Ferli, they could not be even compared.

Aile was not covered as they approached the gate.

The Guard shouted "Halt," he had a deep threatening voice.

The two horses stopped. Hazel was wearing a robe covering herself, Hunter was not. Hunter showed his badge and three of them entered the town with ease.

They went further south once they were in the village and reached close to the beach where they stopped in front of a decent-looking house. It was 2 stories. The outside was decorated with beautiful stones and wood carvings.

It had clear enormous-windows allowing for a lot of light to enter.

The greenery and garden were well kept, and it had an impressive view of the ocean. But the house looked old and somewhat worn out. From what Aile had noticed so far, it could be considered one of the best looking houses among the one in this town.

There were two separate buildings on the estate. On the left side of the main house was a two-storey building. There was evidence of someone living there. Aile assumed this person to be responsible for the upkeep of the estate.

Hazel materialized an old-looking key from her storage device and opened the gate to the main building. The key got absorbed once she put the key in, and the door opened.

They got into the house, and everything was organized and cleaned.

The house had no clutter; it was beautiful and simple. There were chairs, tables and utensils, but everything was spaced out. This gave the house a sense of openness. Just looking around the house allowed people to become calmer.

Everyone quickly settled down. On the first floor, Hunter took one of the guest rooms.

On the second floor, Aile received a separate room, and there were many more rooms available.

Hazel took one of the best looking room at the centre, and the next room was given to Aile.

Aile was thrilled about this setup because now he can finally get some privacy, allowing him to do his things in peace.

He had five goals for tonight.

One, he has to connect with the crystalline book in his soul.

Two, he has to connect to the Auxiliary Field Soul connection to find his Auxiliary Field. So he can gather information about it and plan his future accordingly.

Three, he has to start the unique cultivation: Internal Spirit Ascension.

Four, he needs to decide if he wants to convert his soul into a light element soul and take the simple route. Or merge the two souls together and cultivate both light and dark element.

Five, some of the body's connections have already been dissolved by the snake tattoo. Thus, he needs to link with them and gain control of those energy channels.

Aile decided that that tonight would be an ideal time to do all this as he will have the least surveillance on him.

Hazel had been exhausted because of the journey, and she needs rest. She needs a lot of rest because of her pregnancy.

Hunter has not had time to sleep over the journey as he had to stay on guard during the day and night.

This decreases the number of eyes and their intensity on Aile. Thus, he can do his things.

As the sky barely turned dark, everyone had a quick meal, and each person went to their room to rest.

Once Aile was brought into his room, he noticed a new crib placed there. He was lazily placed there by Hazel, and she immediately went back to rest.

Aile gave everyone an hour to fall asleep. Then he directed his consciousness internally, and of the many things there, he went close to the crystal book.

There was a soft pull, Aile allowed himself to be pulled. Then everything turned black.

In Ailes mind, he saw a vast catalogue which had the name of all elements.

"Fire,"

"Water,"

"Earth,"

"Wind,"

"Lightning,"

"Wood,"

"Light,"

"Dark,"

"…"

The list continued on. Aile then thought of; "light."

Then there were three options.

"Cultivation,"

"Fighting Skill,"

"Skills,"

Then Aile thought of "Fighting Skills,"

"Arrow of Light,"

"Light blade,"

"Blinding light,"

"Aero Light,"

"Binding Light,"

"Arc of light,"

"…"

There were many more skills in this section. Aile was happy about this extensive collection.

Since he can not cultivate or use fighting skills until he links with the energy channels of the body.

He decided to not make any selections yet. Because he was not sure of how many he can pick and what he will need in the future.

He mentally said he wants to get out, his consciousness flowed back to his body.

There was some new information in his mind.

"Heavenly Myriad Book of Stars," which is the name of the book.

"6 Units of Energy available,"

Seeing the second piece of information, it confused him, and he thought, "What is an energy unit?"

Then another bit of information was added to his mind: "Energy unit is required to take information out of the Heavenly Myriad Book of Stars."

Aile thought, "How can I gather energy units?"

He received a reply, "The book gathers it for you."

After a few backs and forth Aile found out that at the current location, he gathers 2 energy units per year.
