Within the Ruins

Lin Ke and Lia retraced the path back to the Quinn Residence. Lin Ke could still remember taking this route before, following this path. Soon, they arrived at a large gate. The gate was intact and seemed to be in okay shape. Beyond the gate however, was a different story.

The path through the garden winded up at a large manor, yet this manor was not the same one anymore. This was ramshackled, with parts collapsing and the door broken down. On the roof was a giant gaping hole from where the young man Gedeon from the Nine Stars Realm had ripped through and entered the Quinn estate illegally.

Lin Ke and Lia look at one another before slowly pushing the door open. After the many months without much use, it seemed like the door was still intact and working. 

The gate swung open without much resistance or noise, allowing them into the premises. The place was eerily silent, with no one around at all.
