Spoiled

"Stop interfering between us, leave the room." Wan Ziliang pushed away the woman and pulled Chen Juan by her hair out of her room. Chen Juan struggled in pain, but Wan Ziliang, who was one of the strongest of the country, was not a weak person.

His grip was firm and stronger than most of the men. He pulled her out to the front yard. He threw her on the ground; most people came out, even her step mother who was also her aunt.

"Honey, what are you doing?" Her step mother ran towards Chen Juan and helped her to get up.

Chen Juan didn't say anything; she didn't even look at him, even though she was badly hurt from it.

"Kneel down, you ungrateful bastard!" Wan Ziliang yelled at Chen Juan, when her stepmother helped her to get up.

"Honey ..." Luo Yiren tried to appeal to her husband but Wan Ziliang glared at her, telling her to stop speaking and so she stopped.

"Kneel down!" Wan Ziliang yelled at Chen Juan seeing her still standing.

Chen Juan bit her lips, and kneels down silently knowing that's the best she could do. She can't bring trouble to the owner of the body, Wan Xieren.

Chen Juan knew nothing about her except the fact she was a forgotten princess, whose fiancé dumped her after finding someone else.

"Xieren ..." her stepmother tried to get her up but she didn't move, seeing it was hopeless she looked at her husband, who was standing at the veranda.

"Honey, forgive her. It's not her fault." Luo Yiren went close to her husband and tried to persuade him.

"Don't come in between. It's all your fault that she is spoiled so much." Wan Ziliang stopped her from saying anything else.

Luo Yiren nodded, afraid to anger her husband. Wan Ziliang was a man of few words but his words are marked on stone. If he decides something he will do it no matter how much one tries to stop him. He always spoiled Wan Xieren, but after what happened he can't forgive her easily.

She was his only child, Wan Xieren's mother died after giving birth to her, her father loved him and she was the only thing his late wife left for him, he spoiled her as much he could but he was always with work that he never got time for her.

Afraid that other people may not be good to her, he even agreed to marry his late wife's little sister, Luo Yiren. Luo Yiren was caring and gentle and loved Wan Xieren like her mother.

But he can't give his present wife the life she wanted, he never touched her and the only time he asked her was a few years ago when he was quite drunk, and she got pregnant with a boy, Wan Xueyuan. After that he didn't even touch her again. He was always afraid that if she had her own child she would stop caring for Wan Xieren like her own child, but to his surprise she never changed.

He thought his daughter would be good, but when he was away from home a few days ago everything changed. Prince Mu Xiuying, fell deeply in love with a girl from a poor family. He even refused to marry his daughter. And what shocked him more was his daughter became a villain, who tried to kill someone and when she can't, she tried to kill herself.

His daughter didn't need a man who is not loyal to her, but she tried to kill herself for him. What about him after she dies? She thought about her not getting the prince, but what about all the other people who cared for her, her mother, her little brother.

How can she think of leaving him? He was a failure, a failure to be a good father to his only daughter. He promised his late wife that he would always protect her, and never let her get hurt but what did he do?

He engaged her to a man who never cared for her. His daughter deserved way better than him, but because of him she ended up falling for him.

His father's heart can never agree to it, but she only sees him. He can only beat her to teach her a lesson, dragging a few minutes ago was more painful to him than her. But he should make himself stronger to make sure his daughter will never do anything stupid like that again.

"Why did you do that?" He asked her, in a fury.

Chen Juan didn't reply; she just kneeled down there, lowering her head and biting her lower lips.

"Fine, you don't want to speak? I will make you speak." He claimed his head straight. "Bring me the wand!" he commanded one of the servants.

"Honey!" hearing the command, Luo Yiren held his arm to stop him, but he snapped her away. Her mother got worried about Wan Xieren, she was already weak, and she was in a coma for days. Her body was still weak from drowning, if he beats her with the wand, her daughter will die.

Luo Yiren ran towards and tried to get her up, but she didn't say or move. Her mother sighed seeing her daughter's stubbornness. The wand was not something her daughter can handle. Why are both daughter and father so stubborn?

"Wan Xieren get up. Please get up." Luo Yiren tried to make her agree but she stayed there as she was not saying anything.

The servant brought the wand to Wan Ziliang; he took it and went close to Wan Xieren. Luo Yiren was afraid that her husband would really beat her, but she didn't want to leave her like that.

"I will give you one more chance, tell me everything," Wan Ziliang stated. He hoped that his daughter would tell him the truth. He didn't want to beat her. Seeing her in pain was more painful to any parents.

Chen Juan stayed quiet, clasping into the fabric of her dress, and closing her eyes tightly, ready for the beating.
