"The empress dowager has arrived." A servant came running towards them and said, huffing from the running.

Everyone was surprised by what he said, why did it mean by her sudden visit, Wan Ziliang exchanged looks with Luo Yiren and then he looked at Chen Juan who was kneeling on the ground, head lowered.

Chen Juan heard what the servant said, she knew something was wrong. But she can keep her curiosity to herself, she didn't want to kill herself.

Empress dowager, doted on Wan Xieren. It was her who arranged her marriage with his grandson, but she can never dream that her grandson can fall for someone like a peasant.

"Take her inside." Wan Ziliang ordered the maids to take Chen Juan inside. Chen Juan didn't say anything or oppose him. She still needs to know a lot about what's going on. She just transmigrated to this world, still unknown of the danger and people around her.

Only thing she knew was, the person's body she was using now was tried to kill by an unknown man but no one knew it. Everyone thinks she tried to kill herself instead.

She walked inside with the maid who tried to save her earlier.She stayed silent, trying to figure out what to do afterwards.

She knew Wan Xieren was a person with few words but when she was pissed she would blurt out without thinking of others.

Wan Xieren didn't like her father, because he didn't spend time with her and made one more family with the sister of his wife. She hated him, most of the time she didn't see him because she hated him, even the sight of him.

If they meet, or talk it always ends up with conflict. She didn't like any of her family members or in other words she never took them as her family. Only family she had was her dead mother, who she was not able to meet.

"Mm." Chen Juan didn't say anything, she had already stopped believing a father can be good and loyal to one woman.

How can she forget what her father did to her mother and which made her end up here.

If he didn't cheat on her mother, she would never go behind him. If only she could change the past. If only she can go back to her world and tell everything to her mother.

If it was past her, she would have obviously broken Wan Ziliang's hand for slapping her but she was not herself. She just had her soul, everything else belonged to someone she didn't know, except her name.

The maid was surprised that she nodded to her, not getting pissed. Was she dreaming? How can she stay silent when they are talking about her father not others.

She can question in her mind but she doesn't dare to say it aloud in front of her. But she noticed a difference in her behavior after she woke up. But didn't mention it to her.

Chen Juan didn't noticeed the surprised look on her face, she was busy with her . Her own thoughts, that brain feel like a mess.

From where should she start? From where she should investigate? She can't find her starting point of her destiny.

She still couldn't figure out why she ended up here. And if she was here where is real Wan Xieren? Can she be in her world, in her body?

If she could only communicate with the real Wan Xieren. If she can understand what happened to her. But how can two souls can talk if they are not in this world.

She went inside her bedroom, and sat down on the bed. She didn't say or look at the maid. She just stayed silent in her place.

Her brain was mustered with her thoughts, which can't get clear any sooner. She should help everyone here, so she can plan how to help the real Wan Xieren.

Chen Juan looked up at the woman,"Can you tell about my family members?" Chen Juan uttered softly.

"Hah?" The maid was surprised but she didn't show her surprised look for a long time, she chuckled softly before explaining.

"Master dearly loved his late wife, your mother. She died after giving birth to you, in fear you may not get mother's love, Master married your mother's little sister, and she got pregnant with your little brother, Wan Xueyuan." She explained to Chen Juan.

"Hmm, I understand you can go." Chen Juan nodded to her and asked her to leave.

So the woman from before was not her real mother, but her stepmother who was also her aunt. She also had a brother, but where they were good to her in the past or it was just shown in front of her dad.

She can only find out after she talks with her, no one will show their true face in front of others.
