Meraki Sagepice woke up at the hospital with no memory of who she is or what had transpired. She just remained there, an empty shell of a human.
That is, until a woman in a suit appeared to her and pledged loyalty to her in a blood pact. With that, a sudden and painful bloodlust consumed her entire consciousness. 
Who is she? Who is this woman? And why is the Sagepice family so feared?

Outrun The Truth

"I was just wondering around the spirit world when I felt a summon. Whoever was summoning me that time was powerful and I stayed back, thinking that it would be better if someone else would go.

Someone with this much magic is one that tends to be power-hungry and I do not wish to partake in mass genocide so I decided to just wait it out.

Minutes passed and the summon kept growing stronger. No one else went to the surface so I finally decided to peak out. After all, it is not compulsory for those that appear to bond with the summoner.

You can imagine my surprise when I entered the surface and am greeted with a dead body."

"Dead body?" Jasmine asked, "How does magic still flow from them?"

"Well, the person summoned me with his magic but he died halfway. Someone was keeping his body alive to make sure the magic continued to flow."
