Meraki Sagepice woke up at the hospital with no memory of who she is or what had transpired. She just remained there, an empty shell of a human.
That is, until a woman in a suit appeared to her and pledged loyalty to her in a blood pact. With that, a sudden and painful bloodlust consumed her entire consciousness. 
Who is she? Who is this woman? And why is the Sagepice family so feared?

Outrun The Truth

We entered the bathroom though Kefi had to bend down a little bit to fit the doorway, "Wow, they make these things lower and lower every year that goes by."

"You are just incredibly tall," I mumbled as she placed me on the ground to begin running the water to the bathtub.

I walked to the mirror and saw my eyes, just a little bit swollen and red, not that noticeable. But with someone like Aurora, this is going to be like I am walking around with a big 'I cried' sign on me.

"There we go," Kefi said, slithering to me as she felt the temperature of the water with her hands. "Ready to get in, Meraki?"

"I nodded, slipping out of my pants and soaking in the water with a sigh of relief. All the tension on my body feeling like it is melting off me.
