Castle

It's a good day, but their luck is bad. They bumped into the shameless sisters when they were shopping. No matter how they show an unwillingness to join them, they followed them everywhere. It didn't ruin their mood and acted as if they weren't there.

Grace tried to join the conversions, but it's not enough. Although she can feel their dissatisfaction, she can't fail this. This isn't Galvin, her connections are limited. The only way she could think of for now is to ruin Bella's reputation so Dean would change his mind. But she's well guarded by her cousins. She's frustrated when they parted. Olivia didn't help and just stared at Bella like a mad dog. Maybe that's why all of them were on guard.

After buying more gowns, Bella went to the warehouse to manage more deliveries, like customized tube necklaces, beds, mattresses, quilts, more gasoline, diesel, LPG, canned foods, etc. Then she went to train with Adelle at the Zang's. Drake is Bessy's sparring partner. Then after shooting gun practice, she drove with Uncle Desmond and moved more cement houses for the mermaids.

There were also thousands of tiles that had seashell shapes and transparent ones too for the castle. Barrels of quick-drying waterproof glue, boxes of colorful fish tank stones, a hundred cement made seashells that were two palm-sized, she moved marble floors, and twenty enormous round pillars that were all to space.

After dinner, the construction progressed very well. Bella inspects the mobile house she left this morning, to test the solar panels. They can now use solar power inside the space! It's a great relief to have more resources available.

Danika and Dawn harvest the fruits. Desiree was gathering eggs. Grandma Meihui and Adelle harvest vegetables while Grandpa Lei is in the greenhouse. Drake will stay at home for a week so he'll be a big help in the following days.

Adelle noted buying more containers for the harvested goods. It's a blessing they don't rot once stored in the cave.

Looking at the busy family, her heart longed for her parents. How she wished they were here to enjoy this place as well. Her thoughts were stopped when he heard Uncle Desmond calling from the beach.

Uncle proposed to smash walls in the sides of the castle and build a meeting room at the left side and another on the right of the throne room. Then a hidden emergency exit at the back of the thrones. She wanted to try some of her abilities. Perhaps her mind was always occupied with the preparation, she forgot that her ability must also be trained.

Wasting no more time, she tried to feel the surrounding air, gathering them, forming wind blades just like in anime'. She aimed to cut a large rock at the beach. "Swoosh!!!!" The rock split in half.

A lava wall appeared close to the castle wall, and when it hardened, she practiced cutting it. After half an hour, she got a hold of how to control it and was satisfied with the results, even if it can only be used inside her space for now.

Uncle Desmond is a little terrified looking at her slicing the rocks and lava wall like tofu! He must never provoke this young lass. He couldn't help but gulp, imagining something bad if she faced her enemies.

She cut the door on the left side and a small opening at the back where the thrones will be. Small thirty square holes were also cut in the ceiling. As Uncle Desmond's instruction, marble tiles were placed on the floor where the molten lava was almost dry. Using wind, the lava dried and the marble floor was fixed. The twenty columns levitated vertically and positioned in an even line from the entrance to the sides of the throne. Ten on the right and ten on the left. Molten lava dripped from the ceiling, slowly stuck to the tip of the columns, holding them in place permanently.

Transparent tiles covered the square holes in the ceiling, natural light enters the room. The unique shape of the tiles makes it bright and sparkling. Barrels of glue are splashed to the walls and beach sand flies in all directions, covering the whole room. Thousands of colorful fish tanks rocks flew in the air, passing through a wall of waterproof glue. They made their way to the walls, scattered everywhere. After the wind passed to every corner of the room, it's now bright and glimmering like stars in the night sky.

Uncle Desmond never imagined seeing something so magical. It's amazing how Bella controls these and makes the place even more stunning. Building something has never been this easy with her help. In his heart, he wanted to work harder. The masterpiece they made today sparked something in his soul.

They wanted to use the natural light to brighten the rooms, so they decided to make rooms with higher ceilings with transparent tiles.

The throne room is in the middle. In the front ceiling above the entrance, a door leads to a large balcony. She made two extensive buildings with two floors on the left and right-wing forming a "U" shape. They divided these wings into big and small rooms. Then closed it with another wall with two floors also and an immense door at the center, making it a square-shaped castle.

At the back of the throne room, Bella made a large rectangular wall, higher than the wall in front. Then she divided them into two floors. The ground floor has a ballroom, a huge dining area, a kitchen, a stockroom, etc. The floor on top would be eight large rooms and the rest with normal-size rooms. Tomorrow she'll cut the windows and ceilings, then place the transparent tiles on them. She also wants to add two enormous towers with at least five floors. Everybody enjoyed a brief swim before leaving the space.

At breakfast, they started teasing Drake and Adelle. His face is as red as a tomato while she's giggling happily. Aurora's heart is at ease. His eldest son finally found somebody he likes. She's not like other mothers who push their children to go on blind dates. They were worried before, but now, Devyn is the only one left without a partner. The harmonious breakfast was interrupted when they saw Bella's irritated face, sternly looking at her ringing phone.

She didn't want to hide anything from them or answer the call while eating. Looking at Grandpa nodding, she reluctantly put it on speaker mode.

"Hello, Grandma, How are you?" she asked politely.

"Oh, so you remember you still have an elder in the family." Bella smirked.

"I call you that out of respect, but you know well we are not related anymore."

"You unfilial girl! Even so, your blood is still Chen. How can you stomach having an engagement without informing your family? If it weren't for Diara's friend, we would have been kept in the dark!"

Bella sighed. "First of all, what did you do when I wanted to search for my mom? Where were you all when I was in my toughest times? When I was sick? Or even when I'm happy? Second, we're not related anymore the moment you kicked me out. Do I have to remind all of you repeatedly? Third, I'm of legal age so I don't need your approval for anything nor ask permission to get married. What I do, who I am with, has nothing to do with you anymore so please, leave me alone!" She said calmly, but with an unrelenting voice.

"You ungrateful b******! We're still coming whether you like it or not!" The call dropped. Dean held her hand.

"Are you okay Bella?" Aurora asked.

"Yeah, I'm used to it, anyway." She shrugged her shoulders as if it's nothing to her anymore.

"So what do you want to do?" Grandpa asked as gently as possible.

"What would you do Grandpa if it were you?" Bella asked curiously. Grandpa held his chin as if imagining something.

"Well, I would still invite them, but their table would be at the farthest isolated table near the door."

"Pffff!" Everybody laughed.

"Call me unfilial, I really don't want to see them anymore." everybody looked at her dotingly. If she doesn't want to, nobody will force her! They'll make sure of that!

"Then they won't be able to enter." Grandpa said confidently.

"We'll do whatever you want, dear, don't worry." Grandma said warmly. Dean embraced her, then her anger dissipated. He made a mental note to tighten the security. Danika told a funny story and changed the mood so it threw the interruption at the back of their minds.

"Ha! That b**** is like her mother, unfilial and rude!" Monique had a distorted face from jealousy. It's an honor to be part of that family, but she can't convince Diara to aim for that. It's hard to accept that an ordinary girl would be fortunate! Why? Why can't they have something like that happen to her too?

"Grandma, I was embarrassed when my friend asked me for an invitation. They couldn't believe that as her sister, I knew nothing about it. " Diara cried crocodile tears and her hands clenched. She's super jealous having a handsome and powerful fiancé. Although he loves Aquan very much, she wants to have everything Bella has!

"If I have known that the Zangs would take her in….Ayyyy….I also heard from an acquaintance that the patriarch had an encounter with a miraculous master and gave them their youth back!" Benedict said as if he lost a fortune.

"Is that why you wanted to go there?"

"Yes, a part of it. I also aim for social connections, especially those involved in pharmaceuticals."

"You suspect something?"

"Do you honestly believe that encounter? It would have more sense if they have developed a drug that could improve the body without side effects. My friend said that they changed a lot like they're in their thirties again! I want to see it with my own eyes. Only guests with invitations may enter, and reporters are allowed to take only a few pictures. You saw how she treated us the last time, I know she will never invite us so waiting is a waste of time. "

"With the reporters present, she would give us some face!" Grandma said confidently.

"Yeah, so don't worry. Why don't you all go shopping and prepare for the party?" He looks at them tenderly. Grandma nodded while mother and daughter blushed. Diara smirked. 'See that? You're nothing to us!'

Adem looked at them as a bunch of fools! Recalling Dean's menacing eyes, he knew very well it would be hard to go. But seeing Diara's excited face, he softens his gaze. That angel face he loves so much. Love that pushed him to commit murder….
