Outside Charlotte's apartment, Enzo opens the door with Charlotte in his arms (drunk) trying to stand her up. They enter and walk to the living room as he struggles. He finds her bed just across the living room and puts her down on her bed.
Charlotte opens her eyes slowly and sees Enzo sitting on her bed.
"Hey, thanks for bringing me home, other guys don't," she said.
"It's fine, I am a feminist," he said.
Charlotte grabs his arm.
"Please stay," she said.
"Ok, I'll be just on the couch," he said.
"No here, beside me," she said.
"Ok," he said.
Enzo lays beside her as she cuddles and looks at him. He feels awkward and keeps still.
"You won't just have sex with me and not call me again right?" she asked.
"No... no... I won't but--" he said.
Charlotte looks at him concerned.
"But what?" she asked.
Enzo sits up on the bed.
"Wow, are you dumping me?" she asked.
"No it's just, you're drunk and so am I and I feel like you know. Sex matters a lot and we don't even match," he said.
Charlotte smiles at him.
"Are you a virgin?" she asked.
"What? No," - Enzo denies it but he is.
"So you're gay?" she asked.
Enzo looks at Charlotte and she smiles.
"Definitely not," he said.
He looks away in neglect.
"Wait. Is this your way of making Men have sex with you?" he asked.
Charlotte is already asleep, Enzo smiles. He walks out, leaves, and closes the door on his way out.
He walks all alone on the sidewalk to his apartment which is only a few blocks away.
In his apartment, he drinks canned beer by himself, sitting down facing the window. Contemplating about himself, looking at people on the sidewalk but mostly the moon above. He hears his phone beep as he answers and clicks on speaker mode.
"Zo, will you come home tomorrow it's still the second day of vigil for your father. Tell when you're coming will you?" his mom asked.
"I'll be there tomorrow afternoon, mom," he replied.
"Ok Zo, bring En with you," she said.
"I can't," he said.
"Why?" she asked.
Enzo has his head down, feeling pathetic.
"She's at Boracay, with her fiancee," he said.
"Oh I'm sorry son, but you invite her anyway," she said.
"I don't think she would," he said.
"Maybe she will, she's your best friend and you guys go way back," she said.
"Ok, I'll try mom, bye," he said.
"Bye," she replied.
Enzo ends the call as he stands and walks to his bedroom.
In Long Island, there's this brick mansion where Enzo steps in, wearing his black sweater, as the gates open. He walks through this long road to the house. He arrives at the stairs towards the main door as a holographic butler appeared named Heen.
"Good afternoon, master Zo," Heen said.
"Sup Heen, are they all here?" Enzo asked.
"Yes Sir," Heen replied.
Enzo climbs up the stairs to the door.
"Perfect," Enzo said.
"Your room is cleaned and ready master Zo," Heen said.
"Thank you Heen," Enzo replied.
Enzo opens these big wooden doors that could fit a pic-up truck. He sees everyone in suits and dresses. These young and old rich people looking at him. He sees his mother. She feels glad to see him as she approaches and hugs him.
"Zo, I missed you," his mom said.
"Me too mom," he replied.
Mom lets go of him.
"So where's En?" she asked.
"She couldn't make it," he said.
"You didn't invite her did you?" she asked
"Well.... no," he replied.
"Why?" she asked.
"Because it'd be awkward to our guests that I brought a girl that can't be mine," he replied.
"You have a point," she said.
The door suddenly opens again as Mom looks and Enzo turns around. They see Enya in her black dress looking incredibly beautiful.
"But I did invite her, and she came! Hi En!" Mom shouted.
"Hi Mrs. Rashford," Enya said.
"Oh please, call me mom," mom replied.
Enzo in disbelief as he gives a sign to his mother regarding why.
In his room, Enzo is half-asleep thinking about something. Enya knocks...
"Zo you there?" she asked. "Can I come in?"
She opens the door and walks inside. She sees him flat on his bed staring at the ceiling. She joins in with him.
"Hey," she said.
"Hey," he replied.
"Why didn't you tell me you were coming?" she asked.
Enzo just kept looking without an answer. Enya looks at him and sees him still staring at the ceiling.
"Why did he have to die En?" Enzo asked.
Enya sees Enzo about to cry as we see flashbacks of; Enzo walking towards his father's coffin, Enzo's tears fall down as he sees his father in his early 60's inside the glass coffin, he's staring at his father's picture and weeps.
Enya feeling bad for Enzo, she kisses him. He looks at her and kissed her some more. She pulls away from him and stands.
"Wait, this is..." Enya said. "I have to go, my condolences Zo."
Enzo stands up as Enya leaves the room.
"What? Wait!" he shouted. "En!"
Enya runs away to her red Toyota car as Enzo sees her from his window.
"What did I do wrong?" in his thoughts.
The car pulls away. Enzo is furious as he goes wild in his room, throwing stuff and like the movie he stared in. He goes slow-motion while he's throwing his pillows and chairs away.
He stops and lays on his bed again. Mom barges in looking angry at him.
"Enzo! What the hell is wrong with you!?" Mom shouted.
Enzo starts to cry. Mom approaches to comfort him. She hugs him as he cries on her shoulders.
"It's ok Zo, it's ok," she said.
"I thought she was the one," he said.
Mom looks at the clutter.
"Wow, you really wrecked your room huh?" she asked. "You better clean this up, young man."
"Sorry mom, but can't the maids do it?" - he looks up to his mom with his puppy eyes.
"Oh, okay," Mom replied.
In the garden, Enzo, wearing his coat, is sitting on a chair, smoking. He's looking at the beach horizon. He drinks his canned beer as he hears a girl's voice.
"Hi," she greeted.
Enzo turns around and sees Eliza wearing a white coat.
"Hello," he replied.
Eliza presents three more beers on her hands.
"May I join you?" she asked.
