Meeting The Fate of Your Kind.

However, to his dismay, the people from the prince's team and the prince himself, didn't even spare him a glance.

Rather, the prince's team warriors, led under Sally's just now, strode on, to the place where the octopus-like creature was shrieking and struggling, to break free from the siege of those transparent beings.

When the warriors got close to where the beast was trapped at, one young warrior, with a bell hanging on his waist, stretched out his left hand towards one of those transparent human like figures.

Then suddenly, the transparent figure flashed back like a beam of light, to meet the young warrior and combined with the young warrior's body— entering through the tip of his outstretched finger.

The young warrior's body shuddered slightly, and was then illuminated with a faint glow that slowly faded away.

"Uhn! How is this possible?" The newly acclaimed leader, questioned to himself; Seeming perplexed.

However, the other young warriors from the prince's camp also did the same, and merged with those transparent figures.

"Oh wait! Does it mean that they're the one controlling those transparent beings?

No it's not possible, those transparent beings are too powerful. impossible!" The new leader, protested to himself, refusing to believe what his own very eyes were witnessing.

"But wait! They just merged with those transparent figures just now, does it not mean they have some form of connection with those transparent figures.

Hmm.

If really, they are the ones, controlling those transparent figures, then they could truly easily kill that creature." He continued to question himself, aloud, seeming completely bewildered by what he was witnessing.

The prince, Idubor, who was standing close to acclaimed new leader, when he heard him murmur to himself, just gave him a whimsical look. However, he didn't say any word. Instead, he continued watching, the following events as they unfold.

However, once those young warriors combined with those several, transparent figures again, the tremendous power and rapid weather change that had previously dominated everywhere, slowly dissipated and soon faded away.

Now, only the mildly illuminated bodies of about six young warriors were standing, facing against the octopus-like creature.

The warriors although standing at a distance away from the creature, were armed with different types of weapons. They took a fighting stance, showing readiness to kill the beast at anytime.

Squeal!!!

The creature shrieked, and gurgled to the sky with a burst of bubbly saliva. It's stance was already weakened and it was bleeding profusely allover, from wounds inflicted by those transparent figures.

"Shut up! You foolish beast. What! Are trying to scare us with your noise? Do you believe that if you make a loud noise we'll suddenly become jittery and scamper away!?

Haha

What a foolish creature. Well for your notice we've already killed three, like you before.

in fact, the last one we killed was even twice your size, and it didn't even last for more than twenty breaths time, before it died horribly from our attack." Disgusted, Sally yelled curses at the creature, when it started making those high pitched cry.

Squeal!!!

Seeming, almost as if the creature could understand him, it roared, even louder than the first time. Once Sally mentioned, killing others like it, before.

"Yeeesss!!!

I know that it must be very painful, to hear that your kind was slaughtered so mercilessly and carelessly as if they didn't matter in the world at all.

Actually, that is the truth, but don't let it bother you to much.

Although you kind do not matter at all, all the pain you may feel now will be gone soon enough. Since you're going to meet the fate of your kind today, and end up dead any moment from now." Wistfully, He mocked at the creature; holding a glum look and smiling wickedly.

As he spoke, he was pacing left and right as if he was in a deep thought, contemplating what to do with the existence of the octopus-like creature.

However, the creature breath soon fell soft and started to continuously grow weaker and weaker. It then slowly, started to relax it's several muscular arms which spread out like tentacles, as it started to quiet down.

"Seee...

That's how to go about it. Now that you've relaxed, it's probably best for you to just give up and die in peace!" Sally nodded his head approvingly, to the creature's behavior.

anybody witnessing this act would probably think the two creatures of man, and octopus, could actually understand each other.

"Sally, there is no need to talk nonsense, to a beast that do not understand you. Let's just kill it quickly and take it's spirit energy away.

Remember we still have other things to do today?" Salami, on the other hand, abruptly cut in and said impatiently.

He didn't seem interested, in any of Sally's chitchat and bickering. He tightened his grip on his weapon and started casually, to approach the weakened beast.

When Sally noticed Salami"s action, he braced himself. He didn't want to be left behind.

The earth dug in, as his toes, pressed against the yellow soil, to propel his body forwards; He dashed ahead and overtook Salami to attack the creature first.

Once a breeze swept his cheeks, Salami, also started running—charging towards the beast, and chasing after the figure of Sally running ahead.

The other four young warriors, saw Sally's and Salami's action, and also charged at the beast.

Squeal!!!

The Spineless Grey Octopus, when it saw them running viciously towards it, cried out again then gathered all it's strength, got up, and prepared to defend itself.

However, it was already too weak.

Whizz!!

At first, Sally who was ahead of the rest warriors shot up into the sky, holding a sword—He was able to reach unnatural heights because he was empowered, by his ancestral spirit.

Then he clamped down, at the Spineless Grey Octopus.

Stine!! Stine!!

The Octopus waved it's tentacles powerfully, wielding so much physical strength to try to slap at Sally, however, with just two swing of his sword, Sally hacked away, two tentacles, from the beast body.

Thud!!

Upom contact with the blade, the two tentacle arms which had been cutt off, dropped lifelessly on the ground.

Splatter!!

Then, as he landed on the creature's head, he sunk his sword heavily, into it's skull, puncturing, a bloody hole in the creature's head, which started spurting out a sporadic display of blood.

Squeal!!!

The creature rang a shrill cry; shrieking and reverberating the air.

Bang!! splatter!!

However, almost instantaneously, another gaping wound surfaced on it's head, as another two of his tentacles were cut off at a strikingly fast speed, and a spear was revealed, forgotten on it's forehead. With Salami bearing the spears handle.

In the next moment, the other four young warriors, also pierced the Spineless Grey Octopus at different spots, leaving behind numerous fresh wounds on it's body, at their wake.

One young warrior with a bell hanging on his waist, sunk his blade at the hind head of the Spineless Grey Octopus, and pulled out several white wormy-like matter away from creature's head when he retracted his sword.

Although the Spineless Grey Octopus, put up a good fight, Once all it's arms were severed and cut off, it didn't take long before it was completely overpowered, and killed.

Exactly what Sally had declared they were going to do.

Then, in the following moments, a short rod was stabbed into the Spineless Grey Octopus head, and it's spirit energy was collected by Sally, using the absorbtion rod, and later deposited into the Ewere pot.
