Cradle Snatching Plan

"Is it good?" Yue asked the boy who was happily eating the dishes she prepared. Truth be told, she was feeling very anxious. Although Alex said that her cooking was good, he might just be saying it in order to not hurt her feelings.

"It's good, Big Sister," Alex said after properly chewing the food in his mouth. "Big Sister Yue is a good cook. You should have more confidence in yourself."

Alex didn't know it, but his reply was like an arrow that struck the older girl's heart. Yue Ying wasn't able to keep her cold and aloof facade. A sweet and genuine smile finally appeared on that cold and beautiful face.

The little boy was surprised when he saw her reaction, but he too smiled and even gave Yue Ying a compliment.

"You should smile more, Big Sister Yue. Your smile is very beautiful," Alex said from the bottom of his heart. "Just like you."

"Really?"

"Yes. Very beautiful."

"Hum, then I'll do my best to smile often," Yue Ying replied. She gazed at the boy in front of her with gentle eyes. "But I'll only smile when it's only the two of us."

"Why?" Alex asked. "It would be a shame not to show Big Sister's smile to other people. I'm sure that they would be charmed when they see it." The way he saw it, his Big Sister Yue was a beautiful girl, but her smile enhanced that beauty even more.

"I only want Alex to see my smile. Is it no good?"

The boy firmly shook his head. "I would be happier if Big Sister would smile all the time and not only when I'm around."

Yue Ying felt so touched by the young boy's words that she wholeheartedly shoved a few more pieces of meat onto his plate. "You're a growing boy, you should eat more meat. Don't just eat vegetables."

"Thank you, Big Sister."

Alex happily ate. Yue Ying watched him with tenderness in her eyes. The young boy was the only one who ate her cooking and didn't collapse after a few mouthfuls. She cursed the people who fainted from eating her cooking in the past. See? Alex is happily eating my cooking! Those people were so rude. They even went as far as to have foam coming out of their mouths. They lack proper manners!

'Hum, from now on I'll make sure to cook delicious food for Alex.' Yue vowed. 'I'll make sure that he will never go hungry during his stay here in the dormitory.'

She sighed internally when she remembered how old Alex was. 'It's really a shame you were born a little late,' Yue thought. 'If only you were born a bit earlie-- Wait. It's fine. He's currently eight years old. At most I just need to wait another eight years…'

Alex continued to eat unaware of Yue's cradle snatching plan slowly forming inside her head. The two ate in silence with smiles on their faces.

Back in Abbie's dormitory room…

Abbie just finished taking her bath and was in the process of putting on a dress when her mobile phone suddenly rang. She thought it was the bitchy AI calling her again, but the name that appeared on her mobile screen was Alice's.

"Hello?"

"Hello, Abbie. Good morning." Alice's lively voice came from the other end of the line.

"Good morning to you, too," Abbie replied as she looked at the clock hanging on the wall of her dormitory room. It was fifteen minutes before nine. "I believe our appointment was ten in the morning. Were there any sudden changes?"

"No, not really," Alice replied. "I was just wondering if the two of you were already up. If you were, I would like to invite both of you to have breakfast with me."

"Sounds good, but Alex is already eating in the cafeteria."

"You're not with him?"

"He's with my Dorm Head," Abbie explained while wearing her dress. "I was taking a bath and I don't want him to get hungry, so I asked my Dorm Head to accompany him to the cafeteria to have breakfast."

"Is that so? I guess it's fine. I believe Alex knows how to keep his identity a secret. You still remember the background story that I made just for him yesterday, don't you?"

"Um, he was born in England and studied at the prestigious Saint Claire Academy. His parents brought him here to visit their relatives, but decided to tour the country while leaving him in my care."

(A/N: Good grief, such unreasonable parents.)

"Good, remember, less talk, less mistakes," Alice said in a serious tone. "Make sure to keep a tight lid on Alex's private information."

"Alright. Are you already on your way here?" Abbie asked. "If so, I'll fetch Alex from the cafeteria."

"I'm just about to come down the elevator by my suite. I'll see you guys in a few minutes."

"Good. I'll go pick him up now."

Abbie ended the call and went towards the dormitory's cafeteria. When she arrived, the cafeteria was only half full. She greeted the girls who looked familiar to her while searching for her cute shota. Abbie knit her brows in contemplation because Alex and Yue were nowhere to be seen.

Just to make sure, she asked a few acquaintances if they saw the Dorm Head accompanying a young boy with red hair into the cafeteria. All of them shook their heads, which made Abbie knit her brows.

'Did they go somewhere else to have breakfast?' Abbie mused. While she was deep in thought. Her mobile phone rang again. The caller was a number she recognized and she hurriedly connected the call.

"Your Highness, Alex is missing!"

"Calm your tits. I am aware of the current situation," the AI replied in a mocking tone. "Open the GGS App and use the [Hero Search] function. That will tell you the location of your chosen hero."

"Oh such a convenient function exists? Why wasn't I told about it?"

"Because you didn't ask, you stupid pig."

Kuh! This bitchy AI really knew how to get under her skin! "Is there anything else that I need to know, Your Highness?"

"Make sure you understand all the functions of the GGS App. There are less than thirty days before the gates of Edea open. I don't want you little shits to act like country bumpkins and do something stupid to ruin my reputation, do you understand?"

Reputation? Do AI's have a reputation?

Abbie grinned evilly. If there was a way to bring this bitch down a notch, she would be more than happy to cause trouble as payback. For now, she intended to follow its instructions in order to fool the bitchy AI.

She clicked the GGS App and used the Hero Search Function. A map appeared on her mobile screen. There was a green arrowhead and a red dot that was blinking. The AI already explained that she represented the green arrow while Alex was the blinking red dot.

Abbie used the app to navigate the girl's dormitory and found herself in front of the Dorm Head's room. She breathed a sigh of relief when she heard Alex's laughter coming out of the room.

'It seems like the Dorm Head took a liking to Alex," Abbie mused. 'This is good!'

If only Abbie knew that Yue was starting to execute her "Cradle Snatching" plan, she would do everything in her power to prevent the two from seeing each other. However, ignorance was bliss, so Abbie didn't think much about Yue Ying's hidden motives. Whether the Dorm Head's plan came into fruition, or not, only time would tell.
